Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 139: A Big Surprise

The next day, with everyone in deep grief, Ye Lingtian was finally laid to rest in a cemetery on the outskirts of Wang Hai city. Right after that, Ye Fei rushed like crazy to the underground chamber of the Lingyun Club. Yeah, he just couldnʼt wait to kick off his plan.

In the chamber, aside from Ye Fei, there were only Baldy, Purple - Haired Guy and those guys, along with Zhang Yide. He could trust these people with his life. As for the others, forget about it. The fewer people who knew about this, the better. Ye Fei didnʼt even think about telling Liu Yiru and the girls.

First, he asked Baldy and his crew. The people they recruited in Linhai seemed to be doing okay so far. Although they didnʼt have a huge edge in the fight against the Green Dragon Gang at the moment, none of them had chickened out on the battlefield. That made Ye Fei pretty pleased.

Pretty soon, Zhang Yide brought in five guys all tied up tight, like they were wrapped up like dumplings.

These five were picked from those who had followed Ye Yu. Knowing what Ye Fei was up to, Zhang Yide specifically chose those with good fighting skills. Hell, even if things didnʼt work out, these guys didnʼt deserve any better.

”Since weʼre in your hands, you can do whatever the hell you want. No need to play any sneaky games!” Ye Fei was kind of surprised. These five guys were actually pretty tough. As soon as they came in, they started yelling at him.

”Pah! You traitors! How dare you act all tough here?” Zhang Yideʼs face turned bright red with anger. He shouted, ”How did Chief Lingtian treat you? And you went and betrayed him by following that bastard Ye Yu!”

The five guys seemed a bit guilty, but they still stared defiantly at Ye Fei and the others. Ye Fei smiled and said, ”Grandpa Zhang, donʼt waste your breath on them. These kinds of guys arenʼt worth getting worked up over.”

As he said that, he suddenly made a move. His body just flashed, and in an instant, he was behind them. Almost at the same time, he hit them on the back of their necks, knocking all five of them out cold.

This was the first time Zhang Yide had seen Ye Fei in action. Ye Fei had used a gun to kill Hu Yibiao yesterday, and he hadnʼt seen how Ye Yu died either. So it was only now that he realized Ye Fei wasnʼt that weak little young master anymore. He was a super - skilled fighter with who - knows - how - much power.

Baldy and the others had seen Ye Feiʼs skills before, but they were still a bit shocked right now. In just a few days, Ye Fei had gotten even faster.

At Ye Feiʼs signal, Baldy and the others took out a few hood - like things, kind of like the ones used for hair perming and dyeing.

These were made by Baldy and his gang based on the technology Ye Fei got from that island country. They were the kind of instruments that could mess with a personʼs thoughts.

This instrument was really freaky. It could add or remove memories from a personʼs head whenever it wanted. Originally, it wasnʼt all that useful.

I mean, you canʼt just go around grabbing important people, and controlling regular folks didnʼt really amount to much either. In that island country, they only used it to control some spies and such.

But in Ye Feiʼs hands, this thing became super - useful because, on top of that, Ye Fei had something that could make a person strong in a flash.

After putting the five hoods on the heads of the unconscious guys, Ye Fei was just about to give the order to wipe their memories when he had a thought.

These guys werenʼt loners. Most of them had families. If he completely erased their memories, even if the commands he put in were perfect, their families might still notice something was off.

Then his secret could get out, and heʼd be in for a world of trouble. Until his power was absolute, Ye Fei wasnʼt about to take on the whole world.

So what if he didnʼt wipe their memories but just planted a super - strong command in their heads to make them loyal to him forever? He wasnʼt sure if it would work.

Ye Fei always did things as soon as he thought of them. So he grabbed those instruments, changed the commands, and then put one on a guyʼs head and turned it on.

Not long after putting on the instrument, the guyʼs body started to shake a little. He hadnʼt opened his eyes yet, but from the look of struggle on his face, Ye Fei and the others could tell he was already awake.

Everyone, including Ye Fei, watched the guy nervously. Ye Fei was so smart, he knew as much as any top - notch scholar in the world.

And if he wanted to, he could learn just about everything. His brain was way beyond what a normal person could match. But this thing was developed by that island country after a long time of research.

No matter how good he was, he couldnʼt just change and perfect it overnight. If this didnʼt work, his plan would have to be put on hold for a while.

Under their nervous stares, the guyʼs face went from all twisted to calm, and finally, he looked peaceful. He slowly opened his eyes.

When he saw Ye Fei, there was this crazy, fanatical look in his eyes. He didnʼt even care about the thing on his head. He just stood up real quick and bowed to Ye Fei, saying, ”Greetings, Chief!”

As soon as the guy woke up, Ye Fei had been watching him closely. In his eyes, Ye Fei didnʼt see any confusion. All he saw was crazy worship, respect, and total submission to himself.

Even the best actors in the world couldnʼt fake that look. So Ye Fei knew heʼd made it. He was stoked. What he created wasnʼt some mindless puppet. It was a real, living person who was totally loyal to him. A person with his own thoughts was way more useful than those puppets that just followed orders.

Zhang Yide, Baldy, and the others were also really happy. Especially Baldy and his crew. They knew exactly what this meant. They couldnʼt wait to bring out the big box that Ye Fei had used on them last time. And the guy lay down in it without a second thought when Ye Fei gave the order.

After another long wait, the guy came out of the box. Ye Fei tested his fighting skills. They were even better than when he himself had first gotten his power boost. It seemed like the transformation this thing did to a person depended on how strong the person was to begin with.

That made Ye Fei even more satisfied. He didnʼt know why, but this new instrument didnʼt have that extra ability to keep getting stronger like he did after the transformation. But this was still pretty damn good. How many people in the world were as strong as them? If he kept doing this, Ye Fei would have an unbeatable army.

Zhang Yide stared at this guy who had suddenly become super - powerful, his mouth wide open. He was really jealous and couldnʼt help asking, ”Ye Fei, can this thing work without going through that other instrument first?”

Ye Fei didnʼt expect Zhang Yide to have such an idea. He couldnʼt help but force a bitter smile and said, ”Well, it can be used, but...” At this point, he looked at Baldy and the others. After all, it was related to their privacy, and Ye Fei didnʼt want to say it in front of Zhang Yide.

”But what?” Zhang Yide was extremely envious of their terrifying strength and asked eagerly.

Ye Fei was in a dilemma, but Baldy and the others didnʼt think much of it. They rushed to answer, ”This thing has side effects. The three of us no longer have normal male sexual functions.”

Zhang Yide was taken aback for a moment, and then burst out laughing.

”So thatʼs what it is. Itʼs okay. That part of my old body has long been useless. Why would I be afraid of this side effect?”

Seeing that Zhang Yide didnʼt care about this at all, Ye Fei felt relieved and smiled, ”In that case, Grandpa Zhang, you can use it.”

”Great! Great!” Zhang Yide nodded excitedly, but then his brows furrowed, and he stared at Ye Fei nervously. ”Ye Fei, did you also use this thing to enhance your abilities?”

Ye Fei didnʼt understand why he was so nervous. He nodded and said, ”Yes, why?”

Zhang Yideʼs face suddenly turned pale. He pointed at Ye Fei and said, ”You, how could you use this? The Ye family still depends on you to carry on the family line.”
