Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 136: Establishing Authority in Front of the Mourning Hall

Originally, the influence of the Green Dragon Gang was nearly half smaller than that of the Lingyun Club. When Ye Lingyun was alive, he had wanted to eliminate this scourge.

However, due to various reasons, he had never been able to do so. When Ye Lingtian took power, because of his relatively conservative personality, he didnʼt mention this matter again. As a result, the influence of the Green Dragon Gang grew stronger and stronger. Now, it is almost as large as the Lingyun Club.

Although Ye Fei recognized Hu Yibiao, he didnʼt pay attention to him. Instead, Zhang Yide stepped forward and said, ”Chief Hu, thank you very much for coming. However, please donʼt make a loud noise.”

”Since when is it your turn to speak here? Has the Lingyun Club changed its surname to Zhang now?” Hu Yibiao showed no respect for Zhang Yide as a senior at all. His words were also extremely offensive. ”I heard that now the Lingyun Club is in the charge of a little guy named Ye Fei. Tell him to come out and see me!”

Hu Yibiao was causing such a ruckus. Instead of getting angry, Ye Fei was secretly delighted. He was just worried that he had no chance to establish his authority. Now, Hu Yibiao had come right to his door.

Since he had decided to establish his authority today, Ye Fei had called Baldy and Purple - Haired Guy and the others back yesterday. Although they had only been in Linhai for a few short days.

Because they had an endless supply of money and their nearly invincible strength, they had already developed a considerable force. There were more than a thousand people under their command.

Although the influence of the Green Dragon Gang is not much smaller than that of the Lingyun Club, if Baldy and these people are added, especially considering that several of them have been transformed by Ye Fei and are incredibly powerful, it wonʼt be too difficult to take down the Green Dragon Gang.

There is another point. The people under Baldyʼs command have just joined, and their loyalty is still uncertain. This is just a good opportunity to test them.

Having made up his mind, Ye Fei walked out from the back and stood beside Zhang Yide. He stopped Zhang Yide, who was about to get angry, and said to Hu Yibiao indifferently, ”Are you Chief Hu? Since youʼre here, please pay your respects in front of my uncleʼs spirit. We can talk about other things later.”

Looking at Ye Feiʼs slightly immature face, a trace of contempt flashed through Hu Yibiaoʼs eyes. He chuckled and said, ”I was wondering what kind of heroic figure the new leader of the Lingyun Club would be. I didnʼt expect it to be just a mere child.”

He came here this time just to humiliate the Lingyun Club, especially Ye Fei, the young leader. For years, the Lingyun Club had always been above the Green Dragon Gang, which made him very uncomfortable. Now that the Lingyun Club had encountered a major incident and its leader was a 16 - year - old child, how could he not seize this opportunity to vent his anger?

Moreover, the current situation in Wang Hai city is not as stable as it seems on the surface. Everyone is trying to maintain stability. Even if he humiliates Ye Fei to his face, Ye Fei probably wouldnʼt dare to start a war with the Green Dragon Gang easily.

Unfortunately, Hu Yibiao was facing Ye Fei this time. Ye Fei, who was already absolutely certain to completely control Wang Hai city, didnʼt care about the situation at all. He said in a deep voice, ”It seems that Chief Hu didnʼt come here to pay respects to my uncle at all?”

Hu Yibiao burst into laughter and said, ”Of course not. Even when he, Ye Lingtian, was alive, he couldnʼt make me, Hu Yibiao, bow to him. Let alone now that heʼs dead!”

Ye Fei nodded expressionlessly and said, ”Then thereʼs no need for you to stay here!” Just when everyone didnʼt quite understand the meaning of his words, suddenly, a clear gunshot rang out.

Everyone present was experienced and well-versed in the ways of the world.

Except for a few young girls like Ye Jing and Lin Ling, who among them hadnʼt heard the sound of gunfire?

Even those girls had heard it countless times on TV, so they naturally knew exactly what it was. In an instant, the people in the mourning hall were all thrown into a state of panic. However, when they looked in the direction from which the gunshot had come, their expressions turned to one of sheer astonishment.

Hu Yibiao, who had been extremely arrogant just moments ago, had now slumped to the ground. Right in the center of his forehead was a finger-sized hole, and blood was gushing out of it continuously.

Although Hu Yibiao had already lost all signs of life, his eyes were still wide open, and his face was filled with an expression of utter shock.

Apparently, until the very last moment, he couldnʼt believe that Ye Fei actually dared to kill him, and that too in front of so many people.

Across from Hu Yibiao, Ye Fei stood there quietly, holding a pistol that was still faintly smoking. Despite having taken a life, the expression on his face was extremely cold, as if human life held no significance for him at all.

Including Liu Yiru, everyone was dumbfounded. Although Hu Yibiao was extremely detestable, no one had ever expected that Ye Fei would directly kill him.

As if sensing that the shock of the others wasnʼt enough, Ye Fei put away the gun and bellowed in a deep voice, ”Zhang Yide!” At this moment, instead of addressing Zhang Yide as ”Grandpa”, he called him by his name directly. Clearly, he had some serious business to attend to.

”Here!” Zhang Yide responded loudly. Far from being offended by Ye Feiʼs direct address, he was actually quite gratified.

”Immediately assemble all the brothers and, at any cost, level the Green Dragon Gang for me!” Ye Fei issued his first order after taking office in a deep voice, and it was truly earth-shattering.
