Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 130: Dealing with Grandmaster-level Experts

Ming Yuexin didnʼt have the intention to completely eradicate the Lingyun Society. After all, she was aware of what the Lingyun Society had done in the past. Plus, having overheard some of their conversations outside just now, she knew that all these troubles were caused by Ye Yu, the cancer within the Lingyun Society.

As long as he was removed, the Lingyun Society would return to what it was before. Moreover, it was impossible to completely eliminate this kind of criminal organization. Even if the Lingyun Society was eradicated, other forces would surely emerge in the future. And no one could guarantee whether they would be as ”manageable” as the Lingyun Society.

”Ha ha ha ha...” Looking at his subdued subordinates, as well as the expressionless Zhang Yide and Ming Yuexin, Ye Yu suddenly burst into wild laughter. ”You think you can arrest me? You donʼt have the ability yet!”

After that, he jerked his arms, actually sending the two policemen who were holding his arms flying backwards. They hit the wall heavily.

Then, like a bolt of lightning, he lunged towards Zhang Yide.

As a three-generation veteran of the Lingyun Society, Zhang Yide naturally had bodyguards around him.

Seeing Ye Yu pounce, they immediately stepped in front of Zhang Yide to try to seize Ye Yu.

Unexpectedly, Ye Yu, who had never shown any martial arts skills before, struck out with both palms. With just one palm, he sent the two well-trained bodyguards flying.

But just during this brief delay, the policemen behind took out their pistols. Realizing that he couldnʼt succeed, Ye Yu had to give up the idea of killing Zhang Yide. He rammed his body against the side, actually making a hole in the wall.

By the time everyone chased out, he had disappeared without a trace.

At this time, Ye Fei didnʼt know about the accident that had occurred at the Lingyun Hall. He had been watching from the side before. He was the one who secretly took care of the people Ye Yu had arranged outside. He didnʼt leave until he saw Ming Yuexin and the others arrive.

Ye Lingtianʼs home wasnʼt far from the Lingyun Hall. So, Ye Fei didnʼt take a car.

As he walked, he was thinking about his second uncleʼs problem. Now that the cancer of Ye Yu had been dealt with, Ye Lingtianʼs health had become his major concern. It seemed that for now, he could only try to stabilize him and speed up the development of the antidote.

But it had been almost two years, and the ”Evil God” organization still hadnʼt developed it.

How could he possibly manage to do it in a short time?

It was probably time to tell his second uncle everything. Just thinking about this gave Ye Fei a headache. He really couldnʼt imagine what kind of reaction Ye Lingtian would have once he learned that his much - anticipated adopted son had not only betrayed him but also poisoned him.

However, no matter how much of a headache it was, he still had to face it.

Avoidance wasnʼt in Ye Feiʼs nature. With these thoughts in mind, Ye Fei soon arrived at Ye Lingtianʼs doorstep and found that the gate was open.

This made Ye Fei a bit puzzled. At this time, Xu Shuyun and Ye Jing were surely not at home. There was only Ye Lingtian at home, and he didnʼt go out much. Why was the gate open? Could there be some guests?

Entering the living room on the first floor, Ye Fei was shocked to find that the person sitting with Ye Lingtian was Ye Yu, who should have been arrested at this moment. He really had no idea how Ye Yu had managed to escape.

With a bit of dissatisfaction towards the police, Ye Fei walked over and sat down beside Ye Lingtian, but his eyes were fixed on Ye Yu. By now, he no longer needed to hide his hostility towards Ye Yu.

Ye Lingtian nodded at Ye Fei and said to Ye Yu, ”Xiao Yu, go on.”

Ye Yu didnʼt notice the difference in Ye Feiʼs attitude towards him. The reason he had come here was that he knew his adoptive father had many connections that he was aware of but couldnʼt utilize. Now he wanted to take advantage of Ye Lingtianʼs long-standing trust in him to turn black into white. Continuing from what he had just said, he said, ”Zhang Yide not only showed dissatisfaction with our Ye family but also colluded with the people from the Evil God organization. If I hadnʼt run fast today, Iʼm afraid I would have fallen into their hands.”

Ye Lingtian frowned and said, ”That canʼt be right. Xiao Yu, are you mistaken? I know Uncle Zhang very well. He has always been loyal to our Ye family. How could he do such a thing?”

”Under the temptation of power and money, anyone can be extremely shameless.” Seeing that Ye Lingtian didnʼt quite believe him, Ye Yu became a bit anxious. He winked at Ye Fei and asked, ”Ye Fei, donʼt you think so?” In his mind, since Ye Fei still needed his help, he would surely speak up for him.

”Brother Yu, youʼre absolutely right.” Ye Fei nodded in agreement with Ye Yuʼs view. But before Ye Yuʼs proud smile could fully appear, Ye Fei sneered and said, ”When a person is extremely shameless, they can do anything. They not only try to seize their adoptive fatherʼs property but also have the cruelty to poison their adoptive father who treats them like their own child.”

Ye Yuʼs face changed drastically, but he still managed to hold on and said, ”What do you mean by that?”

Ye Fei sneered, ”Donʼt you understand what I mean? Dare you say that the special poison from the Evil God organization that Second Uncle was poisoned with wasnʼt put there by you?”

”What nonsense are you talking? How could I do such a thing?” Ye Yuʼs face turned even uglier. He said to Ye Lingtian, ”Dad, heʼs trying to drive a wedge between our father - son relationship. Donʼt believe him!”

Although Ye Lingtianʼs temper had become irritable after being poisoned, he was still a powerful figure. He naturally had the ability to observe peopleʼs expressions. Moreover, he had heard about that by - product of the Evil God organization. Now that he thought about it, it was exactly the same as his current condition. Plus, Ye Yu had been in charge of his diet in the society for the past two years. How could he not understand?

”You ungrateful wretch!”

Realizing everything, Ye Lingtian let out a furious roar and lunged forward, his hands clenching Ye Yuʼs neck. His temper had already become extremely irritable, and now that he knew the child he had raised since childhood was trying to harm him, how could he hold back?

Seeing all this, Ye Fei didnʼt interfere. He knew that although his second uncle had never practiced any internal martial arts, having grown up in the Lingyun Society, he had experienced countless battles. Dealing with Ye Yu was no problem at all.

What he couldnʼt figure out now was how Ye Yu had managed to escape from the tight encirclement of the police and Zhang Yide.

This question didnʼt trouble Ye Fei for too long. Because with Ye Yuʼs words ”Since you know everything, then die!”, Ye Lingtian let out a miserable scream. His whole body flew up from Ye Yu and hit the ceiling heavily. When he fell, Ye Fei, who had reacted, caught him.

Holding Ye Lingtianʼs lifeless body in his arms, Ye Fei stared at Ye Yu fiercely, filled with remorse.

In fact, he should have thought earlier that since Ye Yu could escape from there, his fighting skills must be no ordinary. But his long-standing understanding of Ye Yu had clouded his judgment.

”Unexpectedly, my plans were ruined by you. But it doesnʼt matter. As long as youʼre all dead, everything will still be mine!” Ye Yu grinned wickedly and quickly lunged towards Ye Fei.
