Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 115: Morning Class and Teasing the Beautiful Teacher

Ye Yunqi was pretty wiped out from the previous day, so she didnʼt feel like moving when she woke up the next morning. She stayed in bed a bit longer, stretching and yawning, before finally rolling out of it. By the time she and her brother got to school, they were already running a bit late. But who do they run into at the school gate? Lin Ling, who was usually there way earlier than them. Talk about a surprise!

Lin Ling looked like sheʼd made a special effort to dress up today. Her pretty face was lightly powdered, making her look even more stunning than usual—like a total fairy-tale princess. Plus, she was wearing something different from her usual style, which was also a far cry from Ye Yunqiʼs clothes. Ye Yunqi mostly stuck to cute outfits when she wasnʼt in her school uniform, while Lin Ling, probably because of how her mom raised her, always leaned more towards formal stuff. But today, sheʼd switched it up and was wearing a pink dress that caught Ye Feiʼs eye. He couldnʼt help but stare—she looked like sheʼd stepped straight out of a fairy tale.

Lin Ling hadnʼt expected to see them at the gate and ran over, super excited. She hugged Ye Yunqi first, then noticed Ye Fei staring at her without blinking. Even though sheʼd dressed up for him, being the center of his attention still made her a little shy. She playfully scolded, ”What are you staring at?”

Ye Fei, though, didnʼt miss a beat. He just grinned and said, ”Honey, you look amazing today!” Normally, he just called her Ling, but the word ”honey” made Lin Lingʼs face turn even redder. She rolled her eyes and teased, ”Smooth move. Was I not pretty before?”

”You were always pretty. My Ling is the definition of beauty!” Ye Fei was getting bolder by the day, and he didnʼt seem to care who heard him. Lin Ling felt a warm glow inside from the compliment, but then she glanced at Ye Yunqi and said, ”Iʼm not the one who deserves that title. Yunqiʼs the real deal.”

And she wasnʼt just saying that out of modesty. After practicing that dual cultivation thing with her brother, Ye Yunqiʼs beauty had seriously leveled up. She was now hands-down the most beautiful girl in Wang Hai City, and Lin Ling couldnʼt wrap her head around it. She didnʼt get how Ye Yunqi, who used to be just as pretty as her, had changed so much in just a couple of weeks. If someone who hadnʼt seen Ye Yunqi in over a month ran into her now, theyʼd probably do a double-take.

”Duh!” Ye Yunqi didnʼt even try to be modest. She knew how much sheʼd changed and exactly why. She just smiled and said, ”But Ling, youʼll get there too. Iʼve got this beauty secret that Iʼll share with you one day.”

Lin Lingʼs eyes widened in surprise. Sheʼd thought Ye Yunqiʼs transformation was just a natural part of growing up. She had no idea there was a secret involved. So she asked, ”What kind of secret?”

Ye Fei gave a mysterious smile but didnʼt answer Lin Ling. The more he kept her in suspense, the more curious she became. She didnʼt even care that Ye Yunqi was right there. She grabbed Ye Feiʼs hand and shook it gently, pouting and pleading, ”Come on, Ye Fei, just tell me already!”

Ye Fei couldnʼt help but chuckle. It seemed this little girl had reached the age where she started caring about her looks. He teased her, ”Youʼre still too young. This secret wonʼt do much for you. Iʼll tell you when youʼre in your thirties. Besides, my Ling is already beautiful. Whether you use it or not probably wonʼt make much difference.”

”Does it work better for older people? No wonder Aunt Liu looks younger than my mom,” Lin Ling muttered, then added, ”Thatʼs perfect! Tell me, and Iʼll let my mom use it too.”

Lin Lingʼs words reminded Ye Fei of his future mother-in-law, Xiao Hanyue—a stunningly beautiful woman who could make anyoneʼs heart skip a beat. He felt a pang of desire and thought to himself, Ling, even if you didnʼt mention it, Iʼll find a way to use it on your mom someday! But he kept a straight face and said, ”Sure, Iʼll tell you guys eventually.”

”What do you mean eventually? Canʼt you just tell me now?” Lin Ling pouted, thinking Ye Fei was brushing her off. But then she suddenly bit her lip, her face turning bright red as she whispered, ”And... I want to become even more perfect... for the future...” She couldnʼt bring herself to finish the sentence.

Lin Ling didnʼt spell it out, but Ye Fei, who had grown up with her, knew exactly what she meant. She wanted to become even more perfect and give herself to him. He felt a wave of emotion, but the more he felt it, the harder it was to say anything. He just scratched his head awkwardly.

Seeing her brother dig himself into a hole, Ye Yunqi couldnʼt help but cover her mouth and giggle. But her laughter gave Ye Fei an idea. He grinned and said, ”Ling, you should ask Yunqi about the secret. Sheʼs tried it herself.”

The more Ye Fei refused to talk, the more curious Lin Ling became. His words made sense, so she turned to Ye Yunqi and started pestering her instead.

Ye Yunqiʼs face turned as red as a tomato when Lin Ling asked her. She loved her brother dearly and didnʼt mind sharing him with Lin Ling. She had even prepared to spend the weekend with Lin Ling, serving him together. But how could she say that out loud? With no other choice, she whispered something into Lin Lingʼs ear.

After hearing Ye Yunqiʼs words, Lin Lingʼs face lit up. She looked at Ye Fei and asked, ”Ye Fei, have you decided to go to my house with Yunqi this weekend?” They had talked about it before, but Ye Fei had stood her up a few times already. Lin Ling really hoped to get a firm ”yes” this time.

Seeing Lin Lingʼs eagerness, Ye Fei felt even more touched and nodded firmly. ”Yeah, I promise. Iʼll definitely come to your place this weekend. No more cancellations!”

”Yay!” Lin Ling cheered, then added excitedly, ”Then donʼt forget to bring something for me and my mom.”

Bring something to them? Ye Fei was taken aback. He couldnʼt help but imagine Lin Ling and Xiao Hanyue lying beneath him, basking in his affection. Even though he knew Lin Ling didnʼt mean it that way, he still couldnʼt stop himself from swallowing hard and grinning, ”Sure, sure!”

Lin Ling was puzzled by Ye Feiʼs strange expression, but with class about to start, she didnʼt press further. She grabbed Ye Yunqiʼs hand and they both ran toward the classroom building.

Ye Fei had wanted to sneakily ask Ye Yunqi what she had told Lin Ling, but now he didnʼt have the chance. He wasnʼt discouraged, though. Heʼd have plenty of time to ask her later.

The first class of the morning was with Yu Wuxia. As the weather grew colder, she had started wearing more layers. Today, she was dressed in a dark blue professional suit. But no matter how loose the clothes were, they couldnʼt hide her incredible figure. In fact, the formal attire only added to her charm. Every guy in the class, including Ye Fei, was mesmerized.

Unlike the other guys who were too shy to look, Ye Fei was much bolder. Ever since he had gained his powers, he had become more and more free-spirited. Plus, after seeing the secret between Yu Wuxia and his aunt last night, any respect he might have had for her as a teacher was gone. All that was left was a burning desire to possess her. His gaze lingered shamelessly on her ample chest and her delicate face.

Standing at the podium, Yu Wuxia quickly noticed Ye Feiʼs intense stare and felt a shiver run down her spine. She couldnʼt believe that this young man, whom she had practically watched grow up, was looking at her the same way as the adult suitors she had. But perhaps because she had known him for so long, she didnʼt feel the same disgust she felt with other men. Instead, she felt something different.

”Ye Fei, please explain the meaning of the Tang poem I just discussed,” Yu Wuxia said, trying to catch him off guard by not specifying which poem she was referring to.

Ye Fei had been too busy admiring her to pay attention to the lecture. He stood up and looked around, hoping for some help. But for some reason, Ye Yunqi and Lin Ling, who usually did everything he asked, both turned away and ignored him.

With no other choice, Ye Fei let out a sheepish grin and said, ”Sorry, teacher. I didnʼt preview the lesson, so I donʼt know what the poem means.”

”I wasnʼt discussing a Tang poem. I was talking about a classical text. Ye Fei, this is class time. Your eyes should be on the blackboard or your textbook, not on things you shouldnʼt be looking at,” Yu Wuxia said sternly, though a hint of amusement flickered in her eyes.

Ye Fei, realizing she wasnʼt really angry, played along. ”Got it, teacher. Iʼll look later.”

Yu Wuxiaʼs cheeks turned a little pink as she said, ”Then you may sit down.”

Ye Fei sat back down, feeling pretty pleased with himself. He couldnʼt believe that Yu Wuxia didnʼt seem to mind his teasing. It looked like he had a real shot with her. And the other students were probably clueless, thinking he was just looking at a textbook or out the window, with no idea that he had just flirted with their goddess.

But before Ye Fei could fully enjoy his triumph, he heard Ye Yunqi mutter discontentedly, ”Humph, greedy!”
