New Age Of Summoners

While Ajax’s summons were fighting the demons summoned by the demon kings, the meeting in the guild master’s room was about to be started.

”Rulf, you remember them, right?”

The guild master looked at Rulf as he asked him whether he remembered the old cultivators or not?

”Of course, I remember them. How can I forget them?” Rulf became a little bit nervous when he replied to the guild master.

As for the reason why he was nervous, except for the guild master and the powerful cultivators, Edmond and others don’t know as they watched Rulf with a funny expression on their faces.

Because it was their first time seeing Rulf become nervous in front of them.

”Okay then,” the guild master nodded his head and with a small smile on his face, he continued, ”Before we start the meeting, Rulf will introduce the fellow cultivators of mine to you. Can you do it, Rulf?”

After finishing his words, the guild master looked at Rulf and waited for a reply from him.

’What?’

However, Rulf was shocked when he heard those words and became silent for a moment before nodding his head, ’I am not a low-level cultivator anymore.I can do this.’

He motivated himself before standing up from his chair and looked at the five old cultivators.

’Haha’

When they saw Rulf’s actions, all the five cultivators started laughing to themselves; however, it was easily noticed by Edmond and others without much difficulty.

”Ahem..”

Rulf cleared his throat and started introducing the old cultivators one by one.

He started with the anxious old man who looked very anxious as though he had some important thing to do soon.

”He is Master Esmund, the famous blacksmith a couple of decades ago. He is very famous in the field of blacksmithy that people used to call him Forger of metals,”

Rulf looked at Edmond and others after giving a brief introduction about the anxious old man.

’Gasps’

When they heard Rulf’s words, Edmond and others gasped their breaths.

Who doesn’t know about the ’Forger of metals’? Everyone in the Zrocehster province knew about him because there was a rumour that this master blacksmith had forged a legendary grade weapon with the resources that were available in this low-level Zorchestor province.

”Next, Madam Sandra,”

Looking at the only old lady among the five old cultivators, Rulf continued, ”She is the head of an Ancient hidden family that disappeared from the Zrochester province a little more than 20 years and as for their current location, only Madam Sandra, also known as the Veiled Matriarch.”

The old lady was wearing a white coloured thin veil that gave others a mysterious vibe much suited to her title.

’Veiled Matriarch?’

Edmond and others once again became shocked as they knew who powerful that ancient hidden family was.

Edmond was also from a hidden family. So, he respected the old lady Sandra for successfully governing a hidden family in the past as he knew how hard it was to control a hidden family.

”I think, there is no need to explain about the ’Soul handler’ Elek, ’The Eternal Nurturer’ Ramon and last but not least ’The Revered Protector’ Seward,”

Soon, Rulf pointed at each old cultivator and said their titles along with their names in a single breath.

Elek, ’The Soul Handler, who had many soul type skills and techniques that were impossible to learn for common cultivators and that required some special body constitution to learn many of those skills and techniques.

Ramon, also known as ’The Eternal Nurturer’. He could nurture any type of plant and spirit beast and he was capable of removing the restrictions on those plants and spirit beasts which would help those plants and spirit beasts to reach higher cultivation ranks.

And the last old man had the title ’The Revered Protector’. Even though he had the name ’Seward’, many people only use his title. As long as he promises someone that he protects something, he would protect it at any cost. He was a little bit more famous than the rest of the other old cultivators as he helped many people from the top powers of the Zrochester province which made him a respected figure in the Zrochestor province.

’Phew...finally, I did it,’

As soon as he finished introducing the old cultivators to Edmond and others, he heaved a sigh of relief before sitting in his chair.

”You did good, Rulf,”

The guild master nodded his head at Rulf before looking at his fellow old cultivators.

”Not bad kiddo, you have finally gained the courage to speak in front of us,”

”Yeah. I still remember how you used to run away from us whenever we meet,”

”Soon break through the elite general realm border and enter the demi-king realm and join us,”

After the guild master finished his words, the five old cultivators praised, joked and encouraged Rulf to cultivate harder.

”What happened to you, guys?”

All of a sudden, the guild master noticed that Edmond, Udo and Blood rose had become silent and shock was apparent on their faces.

”Nothing, guild master. It is just that we were shocked to meet these legendary cultivators from the past and don’t know what to say,”

Edmond didn’t expect that the five famous cultivators of the past were the friends of the old guild master and at the same time, he thought that the meeting was not a normal one. So, he soon suppressed his shock and looked at the guild master.

Not only Edmond but Udo and the blood rose all followed suit and suppressed their shock and paid attention to the guild master.

”Hm,”

The guild master nodded his head with a satisfied smile on his face and looking at his old friends, he asked, ”What do you think of them?”

Of course, he was asking about Edmond, Udo and the blood rose.

”Good...to be honest, they are very good,”

”They were stronger than us when we were their age,”

”Right! I still remember you are only at level 1 elite general realm when you were their age,”

Soon, they started praising Edmond and others because they were more powerful than their past versions.

”Thanks for the praise but we still have much to learn about cultivating,” Edmond tried to be honest with them because they were not some random mercenary or a cultivator, they were equals with the guild master. So, the praises coming from them made Edmond and others confident in their cultivation journey; however, they didn’t become proud or arrogant and tried to remain modest.

”They are Edmond, Udo and blood rose. They are the top mercenaries of our mercenary guild,” After Edmond and others know about the old cultivators, the guild master introduced Edmond and others to the old cultivators.

”Good”

The five powerful old cultivators nodded their heads at Edmond and others with a small smile on their faces, which made Edmond and others think that these powerful figures were very polite.

”Now, since the introductions are over. Let’s start our meeting and for what reason why I have summoned everyone here,”

The guild master officially started the meeting with a suddenly serious expression on his face.
