New Age Of Summoners

The main reason he wanted to check the core of the dimensional crevice was to check the complete information on it with the help of the system.

The system had no way to assess the dimensional crevice without the core. So, he stopped asking the questions; instead, he ordered the old man to take him to the core of the dimensional crevice.

”Sure,”

The old man Inys nodded his head and decided to take Ajax to the core because he felt he had already given enough information and why should not Ajax’s put his spirit imprint on the core.

’Finally, it is his decision to make,’

With that thought in his mind, the old man Inys looked at Damilus and said, ”You can return back to your home now, Damilus.”

”I am in a mood to see the core of the dimensional crevice. So, why not take me there?”

However, Damilus revealed a small smile as he requested the old man Inys to take him to the core.

”Sorry, but I can’t let you see it,” the old man didnt think much before rejecting the sea tauren’s request.

The reason the old man Inys rejected his request was that the core of the dimensional crevice was very sensitive and if Damilus had a change of mind or became greedy then it would lead to the destruction of the dimensional crevice.

”Damn you old man. Why do you always treat me like a stranger?” Damilus cursed the old man for rejecting his visit to see the core of the dimensional crevice.

’Why? Is there any problem with him visiting the location of the core?’

Ajax became confused and asked the old man through voice transmission.

’Yes, master. Actually, this sea tauren is known for his greediness and that is the reason I used him for the second trial in order to let you tempt him with something,’ the old man revealed a smile as he replied to the Ajax and continued, ’So, after seeing the core of the dimensional crevice, he might covet it. So, it’s better to keep a distance from him.’

After hearing the old man’s voice transmission in his head, Ajax had gained a brief understanding of the sea tauren and thought, ’So, I need to be careful with him.’

In the cultivation world, greediness was the most dangerous aspect compared to many other evil aspects. So, Ajax thought to be careful with the sea tauren.

’No wonder, he stopped all the spirit beasts when I proposed a deal with him earlier,’ Finally, Ajax understood the reason for using the sea tauren for the trial.

”Hmm...but you still owe me something, right?”

Since the old man Inys had rejected his request, the sea tauren turned his face towards Ajax and revealed a cunning smile that made Ajax raise his brows.

”Huh?” Ajax looked at the sea tauren for a moment before saying, ”As I said earlier, the water elemental paradise will take some time. Until then, I ask you to patiently wait.

”Just let me take to the core and let me see it and I will wait for my reward and not bother you anymore. I am just curious about it as I have never seen a high-level dimensional crevice till now,”

Nevertheless, the sea tauren continued with his talk.

Ajax knew what the sea tauren was saying. It means, since they owe him a reward, he was asking them to let him show the core of the dimensional crevice and he would wait as long as Ajax wanted.

”...”

”...”

Both Ajax and the old man Inys have become speechless as they didn’t know what to do with the sea tauren for a moment.

”Fine. I will take you to the location of the core of the dimensional crevice; however, I have a condition before taking you to that place,”

After thinking for a moment, the old man Inys finally agreed to the sea tauren’s request on one condition.

”Excellent. And what is that condition?” the sea tauren became satisfied with the old man’s words and asked about the condition.

”The condition is, you have to become the master’s contracted spirit beast. If you say no, I will simply put you back into your favourite place,” This time, it was the old man’s turn to reveal a cunning smile and at the same time, he silently communicated with Ajax through voice transmission, ’Master, I got this under control. You just need to form a contract with him and it will over soon’

While saying that the old man was very confident that the sea tauren would definitely accept his deal.

”What is this all about it?”

Ajax didn’t understand what was happening around him anymore.

Because he thought that the old man and the sea tauren were on close terms; however, from the looks of it, there was something more to it.

’Also, why does he want me to have a contract with the sea tauren?’ Ajax had nothing to do and patiently waited and at the same time tried to analyse the situation around him.

”I can form a contract with your new master; however, I need something more other than taking a look at the core of the dimensional crevice,”

As Ajax was in his own thoughts, the sea tauren agreed to the old man Inys’ deal as expected by the old man.

’Also, you keep your mouth shut for a while until I make a deal with my soon-to-be master. If you talk non-sense, I will simply reject your deal,’ After openly agreeing to the old man’s deal, the sea tauren silently warned the old man not to disturb him and Ajax for a while.

’Sure’ the old man nodded his head and silently thought in his head, ’Everything is going as planned. I hope my new master will not fall into his trap.’

The old man knew the importance of the sea tauren forming a contract with Ajax and revealed a smile because he thought everything was going as he planned.

However, what his plans were and what motive he had behind his plans, no one knows.

After for Ajax and the sea tauren, they both didn’t know that they were being played by the old man Inys from the beginning.

”What do you want then?”

Even though Ajax still had his doubts about the dimensional crevice, he didn’t think it was harming him because the system had already said that he had completed the mission and as long as he takes a look at the core of the dimensional crevice he would know all details about what the old man was trying to do.

So, he played along with the old man’s act and asked the sea tauren what he wanted from him in order to form a contract with him.

”As long as it is as valuable as the water elemental paradise, I have no problem with forming a contract with you,” Damilus, the sea tauren calmly looked at Ajax as he gave some information about what he wanted.

”Haha...You want a very valuable item to form a contract; however, did you think, what would happen after you formed a contract with me?”

Finally, it was Ajax’s turn to reveal a cunning smile on his face.
