New Age Of Summoners

When the old man touched Ajax’s head some kind of light entered into Ajax’s head.

’Sigh...why does he have only cultivation of the elite commander realm? What should I do now? Continue the trials or send him out?’

As soon as the light entered Ajax’s body, the old man was able to gauge Ajax’s strength and fell into a dilemma.

’Only a king realm cultivator can use the full power of my dimensional crevice. With his strength, it will only be used as a storage place,’

The old man was still unable to come to a decision and continued to think about it.

’However, judging by his age, it is good cultivation in this lowly province. I guess I should proceed with the other trials,’

Finally, the old man decided to continue the other trials because Ajax was able to patiently wait for 100 years. (It is only an experience and Ajax didn’t age at all).

’Is he asleep or dead?’

Seeing that Ajax was still not opening his eyes even when he touched Ajax’s head, the old man felt that Ajax was dead.

”You finally came out?”

Just as the old man thought in his head, Ajax opened his eyes and asked the old man with a smile on his face.

”For a moment, I thought you are dead...Haha,”

The old man jokingly replied to Ajax as he continued, ”Congratulations for passing my first test.”

’Just as I thought, he is testing my patience in this endless space,’

Ajax’s body was still hovering in the mid-air as he thought in his head.

”Thank you, old man. What is your name?” Ajax thanked the old man and asked for his name.

”I am just a spirit that is formed in the dimensional crevice and I have no name,” The old man calmly replied to Ajax.

”Oh. I know you are a spirit of the dimensional crevice; however, I thought you have a name,” Ajax raised his brows for a moment before saying, ”After I claim the ownership of this dimensional crevice, I will give you a name. What do you say?”

”Sure. I will be waiting then,” The old man didn’t have any expression and on his face as he nonchalantly replied to Ajax.

Ajax had already known that every dimensional crevice had a spirit that guards the dimensional crevice and it could look anywhere in the dimensional crevice without even taking a single step. As long as you gain the trust of that spirit and manage to acknowledge you as its master, then you could become the owner of that dimensional crevice.

’Young men are always ambitious...good,’

Although the old man didn’t show any expression on his face, he praised Ajax for being ambitious.

According to the old man, every cultivator should be ambitious. Only then, they could accomplish something in their life.

While thinking about that, the old man waved his hands.

’Swoosh’

Soon, the seemingly endless space around them had disappeared and been replaced by some kind of forest.

”Woah...what is this place,”

Ajax was marvelled at the change of his surroundings and loudly exclaimed as he asked the old man about the place.

”This is the location of another one of your trials for claiming the ownership of the dimensional crevice,”

The old man calmly answered Ajax’s question with the same nonchalant expression on his face.

Ajax excitedly nodded his head after hearing the old man’s words and asked, ”What is the trial?”

Looking at the forest, Ajax was able to guess what kind of trial it was going to be; however, he asked the old man for full details.

”Before I explain about your second trial. I have a question to ask you,” The old man didn’t answer Ajax’s question; instead, he said he wanted to ask a question.

”Sure, old man. Shoot your question,” Ajax didn’t think much before nodding his head.

”About your first trial, how are you able to patiently wait for 110 years?”

The old man was still unable to figure out how Ajax managed to wait for that long.

He asked this question because Ajax was not the first person to attempt in claiming the ownership of the dimensional crevice. There were a couple of people in that last 10-20 years who entered to gain the ownership of the dimensional crevice.

Even though they had the cultivation of the elite general realm, they were unable to pass the first trial and they were forcefully sent out of the dimensional crevice.

So, the old man felt it was quite a shocking feat by a young man with low cultivation and what’s more, he was from a lowly province.

”110 years?”

Ajax looked surprised when he heard the old man’s word and looked at the old man with his brows raised.

”Yes. I made your mind and body experience 110 years. I want to know how you did it?” The old man’s voice had a small bit of curiosity in it while asking Ajax about his secret.

”Because I isolated my mind and whatever happens to my body or my surroundings, I will feel nothing,”

Ajax directly lied to the old man with a small smile on his face.

”Oh,”

The old man finally understood Ajax’s little trick and nodded his head.

’Whatever, as long as he passes all the trials with whatever means he has, I don’t care,’

The old man didn’t have any issues with Ajax using his methods to finish his trials. So, he didn’t ask Ajax any more questions.

”So, can you explain about the second trial?”

Soon, Ajax asked the old man about the second trial after their small talk about Ajax’s secret.

”Sure,”

The old man came out of his thoughts and snapped his fingers 3 times.

’Snap’

’Roar’

After snapping his fingers for the first time, more than 100 rank 2 spirit beasts appeared somewhere far from them.

’Snap’

’Roar’

For his second time snapping his fingers, 10 rank 3 spirit beasts appeared behind that previously appeared 100 rank 2 spirit beasts.

’Snap’

’Roar’

When he snapped his fingers for the last time, only a single rank 4 spirit beast appeared behind all the previously summoned spirit beasts.

As soon as the 111 spirit beasts of rank 2, rank 3 and rank 4 were summoned they started roaring.

”I think I know what is the second trial now,”

Looking at the 111 spirit beasts in the distance, Ajax said to the old man.

”And, what do you think it is?”

The old man calmly asked Ajax about what he was thinking about the second trial.

”Huh?”

Ajax felt something when he heard the old man’s words.

He felt like the old man was mocking him. However, he still continued to say what he had thought about the second trial.

”I think the second trial is about killing all those spirit beasts in a specific time, right?” Ajax asked the old man with a confident look.

’Haha...’

When he heard Ajax’s words, the old man started laughing loudly before saying, ”If that’s what you think about the second trial, then you are wrong.

”Huh? Then what is it?” Ajax raised his brows as he asked the old man about the trial.
