New Age Of Summoners

Just because thee system said that claiming the ownership of this dimensional crevice was worth it was not the only reason for his decision. There was an assumption in his head about the dimensional crevice.

’Since even the powerful cultivators wanted to destroy it, then there must be some reason for their actions. Either it has something valuable inside it or they must have feared the previous master from growing powerful,’ Ajax silently muttered in his head about the dimensional crevice.

In general, a very powerful cultivator didn’t bother to kill someone with low cultivation with no apparent reason. In their eyes, others were just some ants trying their best to survive.

So, Ajax thought that since some powerful cultivators tried to destroy the dimensional crevice and killed its previous master. Ajax felt that there was something that attracted the attention of those powerful cultivators.

”Master, before my previous master died, he ordered me to give this to the next master of the dimensional crevice,”

As Ajax was in his thoughts about the secrets of the dimensional crevice, the old man Inys took out a silver-coloured talisman out of nowhere and gave it to Ajax by saying that it was from his previous master.

”Huh?”

Ajax became curious when he saw the shining talisman in the old man’s hands and took it.

”Inject your essence of nature into it and activate it, master,”

While Ajax was observing the markings on the silver-coloured talisman, the old man slowly asked Ajax to activate.

’System, give the information on it’

However, Ajax didn’t blindly follow the old man’s words as he activated the system’s pay to know function because he still has some doubts about the old man.

After the ’Pay to know’ feature had unlocked in the system features, the system stopped showing information on many things and only revealed the data on the most important things like the core of the dimensional crevice.

However, for a talisman, it actively didn’t show the information about it. So, he activated the ’Pay to know’ system feature to know about the talisman in his hands.

’Ding,

 Item name:- Projection talisman

 Grade:- Heaven grade

Note:- It is already used and it contains some information in it.

Soon, the system notification appeared in front of him revealing the name of the talisman.

”A projection talisman of heaven grade?”

When he saw the grade of the talisman, he was surprised because the highest grade of projection talisman in the Zrochester province was only an earth grade. What’s more, even those earth grade talisman were limited and whenever a talisman appeared in the market, it was quickly bought by the top powers of the Zrocester province.

This projection talisman was very useful in storing the lectures in it. Even if the master was not available, the disciple could use this to learn their cultivation lessons.

So, all top sects and families collect them and store the most complicated cultivation lessons in it in order not to miss any details.

”Yes, master. You must already know about it, right?”

Since Ajax was able to recognise the talisman, the old man didn’t give any information about the talisman assuming that Ajax knew about it already.

”Yes, I know about it,”

Ajax nodded his head and injected his essence of nature into it.

’Swoosh’

As soon as he activated the projection talisman, a projection appeared in front of him.

The projected person looked like he was in his late twenties with white robes and white long hair.

”Hello, successor,”

As Ajax observed the projection of the person in front of him, that person greeted him.

”Successor? Since I am the new owner, he can say like that,”

Since Ajax inherited the dimensional crevice which already had a master but died, he was considered as a successor to that man.

”I can’t answer any new questions other than the ones I have already stored in it. So, feel free to ask any of your questions after I explain certain things to you first,” the white-haired man revealed a small smile on his face and continued to speak without waiting for Ajax.

’Woah. It can answer my questions. As expected of a heaven grade project talisman,’ When he heard the white-haired man’s words, Ajax was amazed at the uses of a heaven grade projection talisman.

Generally, an earth grade project talisman could only store the basic information and when someone wanted to hear it, they could only see and listen in the order.

However, a projection in the heaven grade projection talisman could answer the questions that were stored in the talisman in any order.

”My name is Tannas Valen and I am a half-elf and half-human,” The man in the projection started introducing himself before saying, ”I am the first owner of this dimensional crevice and I worked very hard to level it up from level 1 to level 3 which is called a high-level dimensional crevice. So, I hope you will take care of it.”

Tannas Valen’s projection stopped for a moment as though he was reminiscing about something, a smile on his face grew larger.

When Ajax heard Valen’s words, his eyes unconsciously shifted to that man’s ears which were pointy as he heard from the Elder Boron’s tales.

”...”

Ajax didn’t say anything and patiently waited for the half-elf to finish his explanation before he could ask some questions because he knew that even if he asked any questions, he would not answer him until he finished his speech.

”I was around your age when I stumbled upon this dimensional crevice and collected various resources and developed it for the around 100 years,” After a small pause Tannas once again continued speaking, ”It...,”

There was nothing that was useful for Ajax from Valen’s words as he was just saying his bond with the dimensional crevice which made Ajax bored.

’Even though I was killed by some of my enemies for the treasures integrated with the dimensional crevice, my successor need not take revenge for me; instead, I want you to continue developing my dimensional crevice. Just when I was about to die, I used my last bit of energy to move the dimensional crevice to this lowly province. It will seal all the treasures and you need to inject your essence of nature into the core to seal those treasure,’

After enduring for a while, Ajax’s interest was piqued by Tannas’s words and he nodded his head.

”Moreover, when you unseal some of the treasures in the dimensional crevice, you need to be careful with their usage as it will bring destruction to you and the dimensional crevice,” The projection slowed down its speed and finished speaking with the final line, ”Now, you can ask what you want to know. If the answer to your question is stored in the talisman, then I will answer it; otherwise, I will remain silent.”

”Finally, it’s over. Now, it’s time to ask some questions,”

When he heard the last line of the half-elf in the projection, Ajax heaved a sigh of relief and became excited.

”Where are you from? I mean, which province you are from?” Ajax had long decided to ask this question. So, he started with this question.
