New Age Of Summoners

Since the portal to the demon world was closed, they could finally relax for a while; however, when Edmond and Blood rose saw the smile on the old guild master’s face, they knew that he was about to do something big.

”Guild master, what are you planning to do? Taking revenge on the top powers for letting down the mercenary guild?” Edmond asked with a smile as he knew about the guild master’s nature.

He would not let those people go when they messed with him.

”Haha...you will know in the meeting, Boy,” The old guild master laughingly replied to Edmond as he called him a ’Boy’.

When he heard the old guild master’s words, he shook his head and said, ”Shall we go now?”

”Sure”

The old guild master nodded his head as he looked at the Blood rose and said, ”Summon your red-eyed bat. We will go flying as I have something to do on the way.”

After the blood rose’ red-eyed bat safely transported Edmond’s godsons and goddaughters to their squad building, it had returned back to the middle section of the cursed wilderness.

Moreover, the reason why the old guild master asked the blood rose to summon the red-eyed bat as he had some work to do.

”Sure guild master. My spirit beast will be happy to give you a ride,” The blood rose didn’t mind at all; in fact, she felt that her red-eyed bat would be happy.

While saying that she summoned her contracted spirit beast.

”And if you don’t mind what is that work?” As usual, Edmond asked about the work that the old guild master wanted to do.

”I have decided to call your seniors for the meeting we are about to have in the mercenary guild,” The guild master replied with a serious face before mounting on the red-eyed bat.

’Huh? Looks like the guild master is very angry about the betrayal of the top powers,’

When he heard the old guild master’s words, Edmond didn’t ask any more questions and didn’t disturb the old guild master as he silently thought in his head.

Soon, Edmond and others climbed the red-eyed bat and sat some distance away from the old guild master as they knew he had already surrounded himself with many mysterious items.

”Go,”

After everyone settled on the back of the red-eyed bat, the blood rose gave her orders to it and soon flew towards the mercenary guild.

Along the way, the old guild master started creating the red-coloured paper cranes.

’These paper cranes…..,’

When Edmond and the blood rose saw those paper cranes they remembered the paper cranes that were given to them by the old guild master.

However, unlike their paper-cranes, these looked thicker and filled with a large amount of essence of nature.

From a look, they could say that these paper cranes were designed to travel large distances with greater speeds.

’So, the guild master knows where they are. Good...good,’ Edmond silently muttered to himself as he continued, ’I think, the best thing to do now is to take a rest because I don’t know what the old guild master is planning and moreover, I have a mission of my own.’

With that thought in his mind, Edmond closed his eyes and tried to take a small nap.

’I wonder, to whom he is sending those letters?’

As for whom the guild masters were sending the paper cranes were known to only Edmond and the blood rose didn’t have much interaction with the old guild master.

’Young master, please be safe,’

And Darbaudr didn’t bother or cared about the old guild master and hoped that his master would be safe.

...….

”So, what will you say, if there are two of these pills?”

Inside the dimensional crevice, Ajax played with the two green-coloured pills in his hands and asked the sea tauren in front of him.

”Although I deal is pretty good and it is equal to this dimensional crevice spirit’s promised reward for killing you, I still go for the old man’s deal,”

However, the sea tauren suppressed all his emotions as he shook his head as though he was still not interested in Ajax’s deal.

”And why is it?”

Ajax still didn’t understand why the sea tauren was not agreeing to his deal.

”Because if I successfully make you fail, I will get a water elemental paradise. So, now you say, what should I do?” Sea tauren calmly said as he looked at the sky.

’...’

Ajax became speechless after hearing the sea tauren’s words because if he was in his position, he would have also selected the water elemental paradise.

’Right! That’s it. This trial is never about surviving the trial because the five minutes that the old man said will never finish until I am killed by this sea tauren,’

Finally, Ajax got a revelation and his idea of delaying for five minutes would be never successful and he also understood what he had to do in order to successfully complete this trial.

Because he felt that the time is running very slow in this dimensional crevice and even when he had a feeling that an hour had passed, the timer on the system is still showing three minutes.

”This is simple. I have a way for you to get both the rewards. Now, do you want to make a deal?” Ajax revealed a small smile and asked the sea tauren as he had a feeling that the dimensional crevice was already in his hands.

”Huh? Really? If it is true, I will help you with anything you want,”

When the sea tauren heard Ajax’s words, he became excited and hurriedly asked Ajax about it.

”Yes. Do you know why the old man asked you to kill me?”

Ajax nodded his head and asked something that made the sea tauren raise his brows.

”Yes, it is about some trial,”

Nevertheless, the sea tauren answered Ajax’s question.

”Looks like he has finally found out the true purpose of the trial,”

At the same time, the old man in the sky, who was carefully observing the conversation between Ajax and the sea tauren revealed a bright smile on his face.

”Finally, I got a master with all the qualities I am looking for,”

The old man could not control his excitement as he had finally found a master with all the qualities he was looking for and stopped observing them any more before disappearing from the sky.

As for where he went, no one knows.

”You really don’t know about what the trial is for and blindly followed the old man’s orders?” Ajax really wondered, how could the sea tauren blindly follow the old man’s orders without asking about it.

’Looks like he is not as intelligent as I thought,’

Earlier, Ajax thought that the sea tauren was very intelligent; however, now, he understood he was not as clever as he had thought.

”I am not supposed to ask those questions when the reward is very valuable. Moreover, the task for that reward is very simple,” The sear tauren calmly replied to Ajax as he still didn’t understand what Ajax was trying to do.
