New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1848  Powerful Elemental Spirit Emperor (3)

The thing is Ajax didnʼt know exactly how severe the penalty would be; however, Ajax was not worried too much about it.

For him, as long as he could live, he would be willing to pay the penalty no matter how costly it would be.

Also, Ajax felt that dying in his current situation would give him the least penalty and moreover, since his body would be intact, Ajax felt that he didnʼt need to put in extra effort to create a new body.

Nevertheless, Ajax could tell that it wouldnʼt be an easy task to enter his own body.

Anyway, Ajax didnʼt have a single clue of how things would turn out to be in such a situation where he would die and return to the Soul Nourishment Tree in his soul form.

To know more about it, Ajax had to die and figure it out for himself; however, why would Ajax kill himself for such a thing when he had a lot of things pending?

ʼDamn it…this b*stard is much more cunning and stronger than I thought.ʼ

After letting the elemental spirits know that he was alright, Ajax could not help but curse while looking at the Elemental Spirit Emperor.

”You are much stronger than I imagined.”

On the other hand, the Elemental Spirit Emperor was also surprised to see Ajax stand even after receiving an attack from such a close range.

”You are much stronger than I imagined.”

On the other hand, the Elemental Spirit Emperor was also surprised to see Ajax stand even after receiving an attack from such a close range.

The reason why Ajax was still standing even after seeing a Lightning Attack at such close range was that the Divine Thunder Rule was still active, which gives 10 percent resistance from the Lightning and Thunder Attacks that were related to the Divine Rules.

Even though the Elemental Spirit Emperor didnʼt awaken the Divine Thunder Rule or Divine Lightning Rule, it was able to copy Ajaxʼs attack perfectly since the attack had Divne Rules attached to it.

So, Ajax was only able to decrease the impact of that attack by 10 percent; otherwise, he would have resisted that attack perfectly as his Divine Thunder Rule gives 100 percent immunity to the normal Lightning and Thunder attacks.

Nevertheless, with that 10 percent resistance and along with Ajaxʼs strong Divine Spirit Consciousness Form, Ajax was able to survive that attack.

”Divine Human, no matter what you do, you canʼt kill me and by devouring your Divine Spirit Consciousness and the thing attached to your soul, I will become stronger and one step closer to ascending to the Heavenly Elemental Realm…Haha.”

Suddenly, the Elemental Spirit Emperor said something that made Ajax raise his brows as he finally understood something that he didnʼt understand previously.

ʼSo, thatʼs the reason why the system said that I will die and at the same time, the system will also disappear if I fail to kill this Elemental Spirit Emperor.ʼ

Ajax thought of the systemʼs latest missionʼs penalty.

Back then, he didnʼt understand why the system would disappear if he failed the mission; however, after hearing the Elemental Spirit Emperorʼs words, Ajax understood the reason behind it.

Even if he died, Ajax knew that he could carry the system with his soul and slowly reconstruct a new body or re-enter his own body with the system; however, according to the mission, it wouldnʼt be possible if he failed the mission.

It was because the system would be devoured by the Elemental Spirit Emperor.

”You want to devour me and that thing and then, you want to ascend to the Heavenly Elemental Realm?”

Ajax became serious as he started thinking about what he should do to kill the Elemental Spirit Emperor as soon as possible after he asked that question.

”From the looks of it, the thing inside you is yet to become strong and you are yet to learn things about us.”

The Elemental Spirit Emperor saw that it was Ajaxʼs first time hearing about the ʼConcept of Devouringʼ the System to ascend to the Heavenly Realm.

Hence, he could tell that Ajax had yet to learn more things about the System and the Elemental Spirit Emperor.

”If you give me a pleasant surprise with your attacks, I will explain more about these things. What do you say?”

Since the Elemental Spirit Emperor guessed that Ajax was clueless about the things related to the System and the Elemental Spirit Emperors of the Elemental Spirit World, the Elemental Spirit Emperor tried to give an option to Ajax.

”Really?”

Ajax had a mocking look on his face as he replied, ”However, I am not interested in it.”

ʼDeactivate the Divine Thunder Rule.ʼ

The first he did after saying those words was to deactivate his Divine Thunder Rule.

Even though there were still more than five minutes left before it fell into the cooldown, Ajax wanted to use it later. So, he deactivated it.

[Celestial Void Step]

ʼSwooshʼ

After that, without any hesitation, Ajax used his movement skills to escape from the Elemental Spirit Emperor.

Thatʼs right!

Ajax teleported away from the Elemental Spirit Emperor, to the maximum distance he could teleport with the Celestial Void Step.

”Huh? You are running away now?”

The Elemental Spirit Emperor was surprised for a moment because he didnʼt expect the Divine Human to be a coward who would run away in the middle of the fight.

”Haha…do you think you can run away from me?”

Nevertheless, the Elemental Spirit Emperor was not worried too much about it because as an Emperor of this Elemental Spirit World, nothing could hide from him and no one could escape from him.

So, he casually flew behind Ajax, trying to see where Ajax was trying to escape.

”You have a good movement skills; however, I canʼt eat it. Why donʼt you use some attacks that I can eat?”

Even though Ajax was very far from the Elemental Spirit Emperor, the Elemental Spirit Emperor caught up to Ajax in no time.

However, the Elemental Spirit Emperor didnʼt attack Ajax; instead, he asked Ajax to use some materialistic attacks so that he could eat them.

ʼSo, he could learn all the attacks that he ate but why is he not using the Lightning Blast?ʼ
