New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1809  Violent Reaction

ʼWhatʼs happening?ʼ

Looking at the 49 old cultivators who were violently coughing blood, Ajax became anxious as he shouted, ”Stop cultivating.”

At the same time, Ajax took out some healing pills that were effective even on the Emperor Realm Cultivators and gave them to the old cultivators.

The old cultivators didnʼt want to stop cultivating because of the benefits that Ajax informed them by absorbing the Giant Fire Crystals; however, the violent pain and coughing of blood made them stop what they were doing.

Soon, they swallowed the pills that Ajax gave them and started stabilizing their wounds while checking what went wrong in their bodies.

ʼSystem, why is there such a violent reaction? Donʼt tell me it was related to their bodies?ʼ

On the other hand, Ajax asked the system about the reason behind the Old Cultivatorsʼ reaction while guessing his assumptions.

The reason why Ajax felt it was related to their bodies was because their bodies were very weak due to the lack of cultivation resources along with the essence of nature in the Secret World.

However, Ajax was not fully convinced by his assumption because the old cultivators had awakened the Divine Rules which means their bodies had become strong and thatʼs the reason why Ajax gave them the Giant Fire Crystals.

ʼDing,

For a cultivator, increasing the awakening percentage of a Divine Rule would naturally increase the strength and upgrade their physical bodies. So, during the process, it was inevitable for the cultivators to experience the pain.

ʼDing,

The stronger their bodies, the stronger their endurance levels will be and the faster they can increase their awakening percentage.

ʼDing,

Even though the Old Cultivators have awakened the Divine Rule, their bodies were still not strong enough to increase the awakening percentage of the Divine Rules. ʼDing,

In fact, their bodies were so weak that even the peak Emperor Realm Cultivators who were yet to awaken the Divine Rule could defeat them with ease.

Soon, a series of system notifications rang in Ajaxʼs head explaining the reason behind the old cultivatorʼs violent reaction.

ʼHuh? Increasing the awakening percentage of the Divine Rules a painful process?ʼ

After reading those system notifications, Ajax frowned as he wondered, ʼThen, what about me? I have never felt any pain while increasing the Awakening Percentage of the Divine Rules.ʼ

ʼAlso, earlier, when the awakening percentage of Sioraʼs Divine Rules increased to 50 percent, she was completely fine without showing any uncomfortable expressions on her face.ʼ

The replies from the system didnʼt completely clarify Ajaxʼs questions; instead, the number of questions in Ajaxʼs head doubled.

ʼDing,

The host has a Divine Spirit Consciousness in his body and he has undergone body tempering with Sentient Flames.

ʼDing,

The body tempering with more Sentient Flames means the stronger the hostʼs physical body has become and so are his endurance levels.

ʼDing,

Also, since the awakening percentage of the hostʼs Divine Rules was capped at 20 percent at his current cultivation, he wonʼt feel any pain and thatʼs the reason why the duration of his Divine Rules was much higher than the duration of the Divine Rules of other cultivators and beasts.

ʼSo, it is another one of the hidden effects of the Divine Spirit Consciousness.ʼ

Ajax had already thought that it was the reason because it was one of the main things that the other cultivators in this universe didnʼt have but Ajax had in his body.

Also, when he thought about how he was tempering his body with one Sentient Flame after another and felt how his body became stronger little by little, Ajax accepted why he was not feeling any pain when using the Giant Crystals to increase the awakening percentage of his Divine Rules.

ʼDing,

In Sioraʼs case, the awakening percentage of her Divine Rules was increased due to Enlightenment and it was called Enlightenment for a reason she didnʼt feel any pain despite not having a strong physical body.

While Ajax was understanding one thing after another, he received another system notification, making him nod his head.

ʼGetting Enlightenment is very difficult and only a few lucky and selected cultivators and spirit beasts can achieve that.ʼ

Ajax knew the value of becoming Enlightened and how difficult it would be.

Even though he gained enlightenment and even Siora recently got one, it happened because of the external resources.

Previously, Ajax used the Profession Upgrade Crystal to gain enlightenment into the Emperor Grade Alchemy whereas, in Sioraʼs case, he ate the Special World Fruit which helped her get enlightenment.

ʼAnyway, letʼs come to the main issue now.ʼ

Once Ajaxʼs doubts regarding the pain from using the Giant Crystals were cleared, he stopped thinking about it and decided to focus on the current issue.

ʼSince their bodies were still too weak to use the Giant Crystals, I think I should complete my plan for them before giving them the Giant Fire Crystals.ʼ

Ajax didnʼt think much as he directly came to this conclusion as he continued, ʼOnce I complete that plan, the remaining 51 old cultivators could also awaken their Divine Rules and everyone can use the Giant Fire Crystals then.ʼ

With that thought in mind, Ajax took all the Giant Fire Crystals back from the Old Cultivators.

Even though 49 Giant Fire Crystals were not a big deal for Ajax, he didnʼt want the old cultivators to secretly use them when he left the Five Elemental World.

As a cultivator, no one could resist the temptation of becoming stronger and he would not hesitate to risk such opportunities.

Since Ajax had a safe plan in which the old cultivators could use the Giant Crystals without any side effects or pain, he didnʼt want them to do such risky things.

Therefore, he took back the Giant Fire Crystals from them before saying a few things to motivate them.

”Father, itʼs time to enter the Floating Island…shall we go?”

Once he settled the issue with the old cultivators, Ajax turned his head as he asked his father, who nodded his head excitedly.

”Letʼs go.”

Soon, Ajax went to Siora and sent her and his father along with Raweth and Sparrow into the Inner World before teleporting to the Metal Emperorʼs World.
