New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1828  Lightning Devour

Human and other humanoid cultivators could increase their cultivation by circulating the Cultivation Technique and absorbing the essence of nature around them.

As for the spirit beasts, they needed to consume other spirit beasts or cultivators to increase their cultivators.

The Devourer Eagles fall under a special category of the Spirit Beasts, where they could use their [Devour] ability to absorb more bestial essence and cultivation from the beings they consume.

Moreover, they could consume so many beasts and beings in a single go and convert them into Energy Orbs which they could use later to increase their cultivation.

All the Devourer Eagle Emperors under Ajax had consumed hundreds of corpses each when he encountered the Greater Golden Demon Emperor and these eagles had already turned all those corpses into the Energy Orbs.

Hence, as soon as they heard Ajaxʼs words, these Devourer Eagle Emperors no longer wasted their time and started absorbing the energy from the Energy Orbs stored in their bodies to increase their cultivation.

”Do you think you can defeat me just because you awakened a new Divine Rule?”

On the other hand, the Second Brother looked at Alder and scoffed at him.

Even though he was shocked at how easily Ajax was able to kill his First Brother, the Second Brother was no longer afraid of Ajax because Ajaxʼs Divine Rule had been deactivated.

Without a Divine Rule, the Second Brother believed that Ajax could do nothing to him and as for the Devourer Eagle Emperor in front of him, even though it was a little difficult to kill it, the old man was not worried too much about it.

The reason was simple and it was because Alderʼs newly awakened Divine Rule has only one percent of awakening whereas his Divine Metal Rule has ten percent of awakening and could keep it activated for a much longer time than the Devourer Eagle Emperor.

As for Ajax, the Second Brother thought he would have enough time to deal with him after he took care of the Devourer Eagle Emperor.

ʼAlso, the other brothers were also dealing with their own opponents. I should quickly wrap up the things here and rush there to help them.ʼ

From the voice transmission, the Second Brother had already informed the deaths of First, Third and Fourth Brothers. At the same time, he asked them to be careful while fighting their opponents.

More importantly, he warned them to kill their opponents as soon as possible before rushing to the other brothers to assist them in killing their opponents.

”Haha…I was always curious about what I can do with a Divine Devour Rule and I will let you witness it now.”

ʼScreechʼ

On the other hand, Alder replied to the Second Brother as he released a loud screech into the sky before activating the skill connected to his Divine Devour Rule.

[Divine Devour Rule - Lightning Devour]

As soon as he activated the skill connected to the Divine Devour Rule, there were no changes in the surroundings, making the Second Brother frown.

”What is it? It looks like you have a powerful bluffing skill.”

After waiting for a few seconds, the Second Brother could not help but mock Alder saying that he got a good bluffing skill.

”Is that so?”

ʼScreechʼ

In reply, Alder remained silent as he looked at the Second Brother and let out a screech.

Soon, some changes started appearing in Alderʼs body and the aura emitted by him also started becoming more and more powerful.

ʼSwooshʼ

In the distance, Ajax, who was flying towards one of his exploration teams, received a series of system notifications that made Ajax pleasantly surprised.

ʼDing,

The hostʼs contracted spirit beast Alder has used [Divine Devour Rule - Lightning Devour] and rapidly burned the Energy Orbs in his body.

ʼDing,

Since the Divine Devour Rule is active, the energy from these Energy Orbs will be multiplied by 10 times.

ʼDing,

The hostʼs contracted spirit beastʼs cultivation has increased from the High-level Emperor Realm to the Peak Emperor Realm.

ʼDing,

The awakening percentage of the hostʼs contracted spirit beastʼs Divine Devour Rule has increased by one percent.

ʼDing,

The awakening percentage of the hostʼs contracted spirit beastʼs Divine Devour Rule has increased by one percent.

.

.

.

.

Not only did Alderʼs cultivation increase to the peak Emperor Realm but the awakening percentage of his Divine Devour Rule also increased.

From one percent of awakening to 11 percent of awakening, making Alderʼs Divine Devour Rule and the Second Brotherʼs Divine Metal Rule equal, based on the awakening percentage.

ʼIt looks like the Divine Devour Rule is more powerful than I imagined.ʼ

It took a few moments for Ajax to read and digest all those system notifications and finally, Ajax learned how powerful the Divine Devour Rule was.

ʼIt looks like it wonʼt be an issue to raise these Devourer Eagle Emperors anymore.ʼ

In the past, Ajax was worried about how he would be raising the awakening percent of the Divine Rules awakened by the Devourer Eagle Emperors.

Because, almost all his contracted spirit beasts would awaken the Divine Rules that were related to a particular element and as long as Ajax got his hands on those Giant Crystals, it would be a piece of cake for Ajax to increase the awakening percentage of those Divine Rules.

However, it would be difficult for Ajax to do the same for the Devourer Eagle Emperors.

Nevertheless, after learning the effects of the Divine Devour Rules, Ajax finally heaved a sigh of relief and the hardest thing that he believed until now had suddenly turned into the easiest thing.

To help his Devourer Eagle Emperors, all Ajax needed to do was to find some powerful opponents for them and as long as they devourer them and use their Divine Devour Rules, they could easily increase the awakening percentage of their Divine Devour Rules.

ʼWith Alder and his squad of 10 Devourer Eagles, it is going to be very interesting in the Celestial Dawn Realm…wait a second…there will be more Rulers in the Floating Island, right?ʼ

Suddenly, Ajax thought of something and revealed an evil chuckle as he rapidly teleported to one of the weakest exploration teams.
