New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1840  New Mission

”Master, I donʼt think it will be a hard thing for you to become the Ruler for one of the regions of the Floating Island.”

As Ajax was thinking about it, Alder spoke as he shared some of the information that he gained from the Spirit of the Floating Island.

”If he takes the entire Metal Region in this Duel against the Earth Rulerʼs entire Earth Region, upon winning the duel, we can get our hands on the Earth Ruler Core and with it, you can become the Earth Ruler.”

”I will be depending on you then.”

With a slight smile on his face, Ajax replied to Alder and the remaining 10 Devourer Eagle Emperors and at the same time, he said, ”However, no matter what happens, I want you to return alive from the duel.”

Since Ajax knew that there was an option of admitting defeat amidst the Duel, Ajax wanted his contracted spirit beast to admit defeat because he didnʼt want them to die during the duel.

Ajaxʼs Devourer Eagle Emperors might not be strong; however, at the same time, they were not weak either.

Nevertheless, Ajax didnʼt want to underestimate the rulers of the other regions of the Floating Island just because they were able to kill the 10 rulers of the Metal Region.

According to Ajax, even if he loses the Metal Region, he could get it back in the future because he could become more powerful with time; however, losing his precious contracted spirit beasts was not something that Ajax wanted.

Hence, he was serious when he ordered Alder and the other Devourer Eagle Emperors to come back alive even if they had to admit defeat during the challenge.

”Yes, Master.”

Alder and the other Devourer Eagle Emperors were a little hesitant; however, when they saw the serious look on Ajaxʼs face, they could tell how serious their master was regarding their life and death.

As the proud Devourer Eagle Emperors, it would be embarrassing to admit defeat amidst a challenge; however, after seeing Ajaxʼs serious expression, they decided to follow Ajaxʼs orders.

It was Ajax who gave them so many cultivation resources and made them this strong and without his help, except for Alder, the remaining Devourer Eagle Emperors would have been stuck at the peak of Bestial King Realm forever in their lives.

Even though Alder and the others could open the portals to the neighbouring smaller worlds, normal worlds and even the Greater Worlds, they wonʼt dare to enter the normal worlds, not to mention entering the Greater Worlds would be a death sentence for him.

Alder and the remaining Devourer Eagles, with their cultivation of peak Bestial King Realm (In the case where they havenʼt met Ajax), have to face many life-and-death situations even in a Normal World.

Moreover, if the Normal World becomes one of the greater forces in the universe, they would be hunted no matter where they hide.

In short, they were greatly indebted to Ajax and wanted to repay him by surviving as long as possible and at the same time, by becoming as powerful as possible.

Hence, they knew that even though it was embarrassing to admit the fight without taking down the opponent along with them, they decided to do it for Ajax.

”Letʼs hope that the Earth Ruler is not strong and you can defeat him. If that happens, we will get another region of the Floating Island under our control.”

Seeing them nod their heads, Ajax revealed a slight smile before asking them to take some rest for the upcoming duel.

ʼScreechʼ

ʼScreechʼ

Soon except for Alder, the remaining Devourer Eagle Emperors nodded their heads and released some screeches before flying into the distance where new and huge metal palaces appeared out of nowhere.

After they were recognized by the spirit of the Floating Island as the official rulers of the Metal Region, each one of the Devourer Eagle Emperors received a palace to stay in.

As for Alder, he was going to stay in the main metal palace in which Ajax and his summons were standing.

”Everyone, you can go and settle in these 10 metal palaces.”

Soon, Ajax gave the orders to the elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts.

On his last visit, Ajax was worried about leaving his summons outside his inner world; however, now, he was no longer about such things.

It was because the entire region was under the protection of his Devourer Eagle Emperors who were the strongest in the Metal Region and if someone from the other region trespasses, they could be informed by the Spirit of the Floating Island.

As for the beasts and the humanoids that were living in the Metal Region, even though there might be many powerful ones among them, they were no match for his contracted spirit beasts and the summons.

Hence, Ajax was no longer worried about the safety of his summons as he decided to start completing the goals or the tasks that he had created for himself.

”Alder, I will be entering the Elemental Spirit World. So, I wonʼt be sending you off to your duel. I hope you give your best in the duel and come back alive.”

Entering the Elemental Spirit World that was connected with the Floating Island was one of Ajaxʼs objectives and it would take one day for Ajax to return from the Elemental Spirit World.

By then, Alder and the other Devourer Eagle Emperors would be fighting the Earth Ruler in an official duel. So, Ajax informed Alder about it and wanted Alder to make some wise choices in the Duel.

”Donʼt worry, master. We will win the duel and get that entire Earth Region under our control.”

Alderʼs eyes were filled with confidence as he assured Ajax with his words, making Ajax nod his head with a satisfied smile on his face.

After that, Ajax didnʼt waste any time as he directly chose a room and entered it.

For Ajax, the room in the metal palace doesnʼt matter because all he needs is a peaceful place to enter the Elemental Spirit World.

…

In the room of the Metal Palace,

ʼI have three chances to enter the Elemental Spirit Worlds. I should try to look for some unique and rare elemental spirits even if I have to waste some time.ʼ

After entering the room, Ajax didnʼt enter the Elemental Spirit World directly; instead, he took a deep breath and tried to enter a meditative state.

ʼEnterʼ

For Ajax, it didnʼt take much time as he only needed a minute to enter the meditative state as his spirit consciousness entered the Elemental Spirit World connected to the Floating Island.

….

In the Elemental Spirit World connected to the Floating Island,

Even though there were no humans…at least in Ajaxʼs perspective, there were no native humans in the Floating Island, there was still an Elemental Spirit World connected to it.

However, the Elemental Spirit World was not useless as the cultivators from the Five Greater Elemental Worlds were able to enter the Floating Island and form contracts with the Elemental Spirits in the Elemental Spirit World.

According to the system, the Elemental Spirits in this Elemental Spirit World would be rare compared to the Elemental Spirit Worlds connected to the Greater World.

Hence, Ajax was saving all his three chances to enter the Elemental Spirit World for this moment. So, he was excited about it.

ʼSwooshʼ

In a random place in the Elemental Spirit World, Ajaxʼs Divine Spirit Consciousness appeared.

Unlike in his previous visits, Ajaxʼs spirit consciousness form was covered by a golden halo as though he was an otherworldly god descended onto the Elemental Spirit World to bless the Elemental Spirits in this world.

ʼDing,

A new system mission has been generated. Please check.

Before Ajax could check his surroundings to compare this Elemental Spirit World with the Elemental Spirit Worlds that he entered previously, Ajax received a system notification regarding his new mission.

ʼA new mission?ʼ

After Ajax learned about his fatherʼs past and the partial origins of the system, the missions generated by the system were very less.

So, Ajax was surprised to see a new mission and at the same time, he was curious regarding this new mission.

ʼLetʼs check.ʼ

Even though Ajax knew that he only had 24 hours in the Elemental Spirit World, he was willing to waste a few moments to check out the mission details.

Because, if the mission has something to do with forming the contracts with the Elemental Spirits, he would be missing out on his rewards.

So, he decided to check the mission first before rushing to find some good elemental spirits to form contracts with.

ʼDing,

Mission Name: Kill the Elemental Spirit Emperor.

Details: A powerful Elemental Spirit Emperor is guarding this Elemental Spirit World. Kill him at any cost.

  Mission Reward: System Upgrade.

Mission Penalty: The host will die and the system will disappear.

More Information: If the host fails to kill the Elemental Spirit Emperor, the other party is going to kill you and eat your Divine Spirit Consciousness.

Soon, the system showed him the full details of the newly generated mission and with each line he read, the more shocked Ajax became.

The first thing that shocked Ajax was that there was an Elemental Spirit Emperor who was guarding the Elemental Spirit World.

The second thing was the reward which was the ʼSystem Upgradeʼ, which Ajax believed that the system had upgraded to the maximum.

Last but not least, there was a penalty for the mission in which he would die while the system would escape.
