New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1149 - Killing Demon Apostles

”So, tell me. The deal is still on for you.”

Slowly, Ajax asked the leader of the demon apostles whether he wanted to take the deal and exchange the lives of the demon apostles for the divine dragon.

”Scoff”

However, the leader of the demon apostles scoffed at Ajax and his petty tricks as he replied, ”The moment we signed up to become the demon apostles, we stopped caring for our lives and as long as our emperor gets the divine dragon, we are more than happy to die for him.”

Since the primordial demon emperor was the god in the hearts of these demon apostles, they were ready to give their lives; instead of giving the divine dragon back to Ajax.

”Huh?”

Even though the leader of the demon apostles said those words, Ajax noticed something in his eyes that made him hopeful.

ʼLooks like I still have the chance of getting Twilight back.ʼ

Once he came to that conclusion, Ajax revealed an even bigger evil smile on his face as he looked at the leader of the demon apostles.

”So, letʼs begin the game.”

As soon as he finished his words, Ajax made a shooting action at the demon apostles and every time he pointed at the demon apostle, the demon apostleʼs head would be blasted like a watermelon.

ʼBoomʼ

ʼDing,

Congratulations to the host for killing a demon apostle.

Gained 1000 spirit points.

After every head blast, Ajax could get a system notification.

Other than the spirit points reward, Ajax didnʼt gain any good items.

Nevertheless, Ajax was not in a mood to complain to the system about the rewards as he continued to blast the heads of demon apostles one after another.

”So, how about now?”

After killing more than a dozen demon apostles in a row, Ajax had got more than 12000 spirit points as he asked the leader of the demon apostles.

”As I said already. Just kill us already as we are not going to agree to your deal.”

The leader of the demon apostles gritted his teeth as he shouted at Ajax; however, Ajax still have a smile on his face.

”Sure then. I will resume my killing.”

Once again Ajax started killing the demon apostles as he got the system notifications in his head.

ʼLetʼs see how long you will put that act as though you didnʼt care about your life.ʼ

This was the thought in Ajaxʼs head as he looked at the leader of the demon apostles after killing a demon apostle to see his reaction.

With that reaction on the leader of the demon apostlesʼ face, Ajax came to the conclusion that he would not keep up that act for much longer.

ʼBoomʼ

ʼDing,

Congratulations to the host for killing a demon apostle.

Gained 1000 spirit points.

”You are the only one left now. So, I wonder you will be taking my deal.”

This time, Ajax didnʼt ask the leader of the demon apostles until he killed all the demon apostles.

”Aargh”

Finally, when it was his turn to die, the leader of the demon apostle shouted at the sky as he shouted at Ajax, ”Fine. I will agree to your deal as long as you let me go.”

ʼI am not betraying the primordial demon emperor. I just wanted to let the emperor know about Ajaxʼs talents and his unique elemental spirits along with the contracted spirit beasts.ʼ

The leader of the demon apostle convinced himself that he was not betraying the primordial demon emperor; instead, he felt what he was doing was the right thing to do.

”Huh? You agreed?”

Ajax was not at all surprised because he already knew that the leader of the demon apostle would definitely agree to his deal sooner or later. Nevertheless, Ajax took this chance to mock him.

”Human, stop wasting my time and let me contact the demon apostle who took away the divine dragon.”

The leader of the demon apostle was frustrated when he heard Ajaxʼs words; however, he knew he had to endure them until he leave this world.

ʼOnce I leave this world, I will show you what I am capable.ʼ

With that thought in his mind, the leader of the demon apostle closed his eyes as he tried to contact the demon apostle.

”You have quite bad luck.”

However, before the leader of the demo apostle could even contact the demon apostle to bring the divine dragon back, he heard Ajaxʼs words that made him open his eyes.

”Huh? What are you saying?”

After he opened his eyes, the leader of the demon apostles asked Ajax while frowning.

”Suddenly, I feel like cancelling the deal.”

With an ear to ear smile on his face, Ajax continued, ”There is no need to return the divine dragon. I just feel like killing you.”

While saying that, Ajax slowly walked towards the leader of the demon apostle, making him quite anxious.

”What are you saying? Why the hell did you cancel the deal?”

The leader of the demon apostles didnʼt understand why Ajax was cancelling the deal all of a sudden and asked about it.

”Do I need to explain everything to you?”

Ajax scoffed at the demon apostles as he continued, ”Since I want to kill you, even your primordial demon emperor canʼt save you.”

With an evil smile on his face, Ajax summoned his protector sword before placing it on the neck of the demon apostle, ”I heard the demon apostle will not fear death. Looks like they will also fear death.”

As soon as he finished, Ajax slowly slid the protector sword into the leader of the demon apostlesʼ head before beheading him.

ʼWhy?ʼ

This is the last word that the leader of the demon apostles had in his head because it was still a question mark for him.

Everything was going fine and the deal would have finished as long as he contacted the demon apostle; however, the human cancelled the deal and without saying any reason, he beheaded him.

”Summoning master, why did you kill him?”

”What about Twilight?”

”How are we going to save the divine dragon?”

Volcanis and others hurriedly asked Ajax because the only way to get the divine dragon was by finishing the deal.

So, just like the leader of the demon apostles, Ajaxʼs summons also didnʼt understand why Ajax killed the demon apostle.

Even though most of the elemental spirits and the contracted spirit beasts didnʼt like the divine dragonʼs overbearing actions, they still feel the divine dragon as their family and they have to protect him.

”Donʼt worry about the divine dragon.”

With a slight smile on his face, Ajax replied to his summons who were worried about the safety of the divine dragon and felt warm with their concern.

However, he asked them not to worry about Twilight as he looked at the corpses on the ground and ordered, ”Keep 50 corpses aside and the remaining corpse will be devoured by the devourer eagles.”

As soon as he finished his words, Ajax jumped onto a devourer eagle king, ”Cale, letʼs go.”
