New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 1125: Treasury

Since Ajax wanted to go back to the purple stone world in one month for the never-returning caveʼs training ground, Ajax was not worried about the food for the grey dwarves.

ʼHowever, I need to find a way to repair the trading mirror. It will not be good to go up and down between the two worlds for the spirit beasts.ʼ

Ajax silently thought about the broken trading mirror.

”So, letʼs talk about the weapon refining business now.”

Nevertheless, Ajax decided to wait until he got his hands on any items that could repair the trading mirror because coming straight to the business.

As a protector of the world, Ajax could use half of the resources or items produced by the inhabitants of the grey dwarf world.

Moreover, he was providing them food on his own. So, even if he took a higher percentage, the dwarves didnʼt mind.

In any case, Ajax wanted to get clear with these things and didnʼt want to end up like the previous protector.

”We will do as you say, protector; however, please make us work a little more.”

The dwarf advisor, who was standing beside Ajax replied in a low voice; however, everyone was able to hear his words.

”Is that what you want?”

Ajax asked the 100 old dwarves standing in front of him.

”Yes, protector.”

”In the past, we used to like the weapon refining and we were able to put all our hearts into each weapon we refined.”

”However, the previous protector took that as an advantage and treated us like slaves to refine the weapons all the time.”

”Because of that, we nearly lost our liking to the weapons that were coming from the ancient times would have turned into dislike.”

Soon, one after another dwarf started backing up the old dwarf advisor and said some things that surprised Ajax.

Because for the grey dwarves, weapon refining was everything because of the previous protector and the demon kings, they nearly lost their interest in their favourite profession.

”Okay”

Ajax nodded and said, ”So, from now onwards, I need you to refine only 100 High-level heaven grade weapons in a month. As for the lower level weapons, it is your wish. You can refine as many as you want.”

”Only a hundred in a month?”

The grey dwarves were surprised by such a small number because they could do it in a week even if they refined the weapons relaxingly.

There are 100 grey dwarf towns in this world and each town could refine a high-level heaven grade weapon without any problem.

”Yes.”

Ajax revealed a slight smile on his face as he continued, ”Among those 100 high-level heaven grade weapons, I will be naturally taking my 50 percent.”

”What?”

”Protector only takes 50 from them?”

”We thought the protector would be taking all of them.”

Once again the old dwarf town leaders were surprised with Ajaxʼs word as they asked more or less the same questions.

”Yes. Isnʼt that what the protector has to take for being the protector of the world?”

Ajax replied to them with a question.

”Yes, Protector.”

The old dwarf advisor nodded his head as his respect for their young protector reached the next level as he asked, ”So, what are we going to do with the remaining 50 heaven grade weapons, protector?”

”The remaining weapons will be going into the treasury.”

Ajax slowly replied to them as he continued, ”Since the castle you built for me has many huge halls, letʼs make one of those halls into a treasury.”

”The items in the treasury will be used only for the development of this world.”

Soon, Ajax finished his plan for the development of this world.

The thing is, currently, the trading mirror was broken and once he gets repaired, he could use those weapons in the treasury to trade with.

”We will work on making a secure treasury, Protector.”

Finally, they knew Ajax was the right protector for their world as they excitedly replied to Ajax.

”You can start whenever you want it. I will be taking a small walk around the world.”

As soon as Ajax gave permission to turn one of the huge halls in the protector castle into a treasury, he walked away from the castle to take a small walk along with his two dwarf followers and the old dwarf advisor.

”Master, if you donʼt mind, can I ask you something?”

Along the way, Rurbeak, the brave young dwarf asked Ajax after some hesitation.

”Ask”

Ajax casually nodded his head as he checked his surroundings.

”If we only refine 100 high-level heaven grade weapons in a month, it would take a very long time to develop this world. Moreover, our proficiency in the weapons refining will not be fast.”

Since Ajax gave the permission, Rurbeak directly asked and indirectly suggested that what Ajax did would delay the development of the world.

”Haha”

Hearing the words of the young dwarf, Ajax could not help but laugh as he looked at the old advisor before asking, ”Do you feel the same that my actions are not best for the grey dwarf world?”

Ajax was not angry at Rurbeak; instead, he liked him more because for him, having thousands of mindless followers, one follower who can think on his own is better.

Almost all of his summons and the followers think on their own and give him some suggestions from time to time.

”No, Protector.”

As for the old dwarf advisor, he shook his head as he asked Ajax, ”Can I explain to him about it?”

Before Ajax could ask the old dwarf advisor to explain his thoughts to the young dwarf, Tunmil, himself volunteered to explain. So, he casually nodded his head giving permission for him to explain.

”Even though it seemed like it was not the right thing to do, actually, it is the right thing to do. With more free time on our hands, we could have time to create modified weapons or we can even try creating weapons in our heads.”

”With that, our weaponsmith rank will increase steadily and reaching the King Weaponsmith realm is not an impossible thing for us.”

As an advisor, the old man knew what Ajax was trying to do. Instead of creating more and more of the same kind of weapons, he was trying to focus on the future of the grey dwarf world by trying out new things.

ʼAs long as he has that mindset, my grey dwarf world is in safe hands.ʼ

This was the only thought in the old advisor as he looked at Ajax.

”Oh. So, thatʼs how it is.”

Even though Rurbeak was young; however, he quickly understood what the old advisor was saying and looked at Ajax as though he was seeing an idol.

ʼMaster is so thoughtful. I have to make a good weapon for him to slay his enemies.ʼ

Soon, Ajax became an idol for the talented young weaponsmith as he decided to create a weapon for his master.

”Good. Itʼs time for me to go on a mission.”

After taking a stroll in the grey dwarf world for a while, Ajax decided to resume his world-destroying mission.
