New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 694: Level 3 Cloud Steps

While Geron was rushing towards Ceru to help him block the attack, Ajax had just opened his eyes after receiving a system notification.

ʼDing,

The spirit consciousness is completely filled. Please stop filling it.

”Phew...finally filled the spiritual consciousness in four hours,”

As soon as he received the system, Ajax heaved a sigh of relief as he could now upgrade the last cultivation technique that helps him in movement speed.

”System, upgrade the cloud steps to level 3,”

Without wasting any time, he directly ordered the system to upgrade his level 2 cloud steps.

ʼDing,

Consumed 10000 units of the essence of nature.

ʼDing,

ʼCloud stepsʼ is upgraded to level 3.

There was a slight pain in his head for a moment; however, it disappeared soon enough and at the same time, he received the confirmation notification from the system.

ʼLooks like I am used to different types of pains, I didnʼt feel much pain earlier except for a slight ticklish feeling in my head,ʼ

Ajax joked regarding the pain and checked the newly upgraded ʼCloud stepsʼ

ʼDing,

Cultivation technique:- Cloud steps (level 3)

Effect:- 1) Increases the movement speed by 3 times the original speed.

2) Can fly in the air for 10 kilometers in a day.

”What?”

Ajax was shocked by the new effect of the cloud steps because he could finally fly now.

Generally, when a cultivator reaches the general realm, their speed was very fast and for an onlooker, it would appear like he was flying; however, it was not true.

A cultivator needs to be in an elite general cultivator and he or she needs to practice flying by forming wings with their essence of nature; however, Ajax was able to fly before he could even reach the general realm. So, of course, he would be shocked and happy at the same time.

ʼEven though it is only 10 kilometers, it would be very helpful when I fight against the flying spirit beasts or other beings,ʼ

Ajax was pretty much satisfied with the limitations of the second effect as he thought inside his head about it.

ʼNow, itʼs time to increase my strength,ʼ

Since the energy orbs would not be very useful when he was in the general realm, he wanted to use them now and without wasting any time, he directly thought about it.

As soon as he thought about those energy orbs, one after another energy orb started bursting out while releasing the pure essence of nature into his spirit consciousness.

ʼAarghʼ

Along with that, the usual pain emerged from his spirit consciousness which made him groan despite the face he was already ready for it.

ʼDing,

Level 3 elite commander realm reached.

ʼDing,

Level 4 elite commander realm reached.

.

.

.ʼDing,

Level 7 elite commander realm reached.

The pain in his spirit consciousness increased with each passing second; however, with each system notification, Ajax felt excited and it helped him endure the pain.

ʼPhewʼ

Nevertheless, the pain disappeared without a trace from his spirit consciousness that made him heave a sigh of relief.

ʼHuh? Is that all? No more system notifications?ʼ

Soon, Ajax felt something was not right because the system notifications he was expecting were nowhere to be seen.

ʼSystem, why there is no increment in my spirit consciousnessʼ capacity,ʼ

Since the system was nonchalant and acted like it didnʼt know anything, he directly asked the system.

Even though he already knew that he would not receive any increment in his spirit consciousnessʼ capacity for breaking through minor realms till he reached the general realm, he was sure that he could receive the increment from the Mysterious spirit cultivation technique.

ʼDing,

The host will not get any increment in his spirit consciousnessʼ capacity even with the mysterious spirit cultivation technique until he reaches the general realm.

Soon, the system gave a clear notification that made Ajax bitterly shake his head.

ʼGuess, I will wait until general realm,ʼ

Nevertheless, Ajax stopped worrying about it because he knew he had almost double the spirit consciousness capacity compared to his cultivation and moreover as long as he entered the general realm, he could increase his spirit consciousnessʼ capacity at an incredible speed.

”Now, I will take some rest before my special training starts from tomorrow morning,”

Ajax didnʼt think much about anything because all the thinking would only make him either anxious or curious. So, putting away all things, he directly entered into a deep sleep.

Since he was greatly exhausted because of the pains from upgrading the cultivation techniques and breaking the energy orbs, he entered into a deep sleep as soon as he closed his eyes.

ʼThis brat is not bad,ʼ

As soon as Ajax fell asleep, in the depths of his spirit consciousness a small light dot thought in a deep voice.

ʼHe was able to learn the mysteries of my own cultivation technique by 5 percent within only a few months. Looks like, I still have hope,ʼ

After thinking for a moment, that black dot disappeared; however, when someone looks at it very carefully, they would find that light.

Nevertheless, it looked like a small unit of the essence of nature. So, even if Ajax found out about that black light, he would not bother about it.

...

In the middle-section of the cursed wilderness,

ʼBoomʼ

The overpowered sun cannon that was reflected by the barrier hit Ceru and it blasted him away.

”Ceru”

Geron was anxious as he hurriedly rushed towards him.

By now, Ceruʼs wolf body was completely covered in injuries and almost 90 percent of it was burned from the sun cannon.

”Have you gone insane?”

In the beginning, it was Geron, who was crazy and didnʼt think anything except for saving her daughter; however, now, Geron felt Ceru was even crazier than him.

Because, as long as fairy guardians and fairy generals attacked the barrier, it would have broken within a couple of hours.

Even though they would have suffered heavy injuries, there was very little chance that they would die.

However, that was not the case for Ceru. His attacks are very powerful that could damage the barrier and himself. So, Geron asked him to stop attacking the barrier earlier.

But Ceru didnʼt listen to him for the first time since they met.

”Haha...cough..haha,”

Hearing Geronʼs words, Ceru laughed and in between, he heavily coughed before splitting the blood.

ʼKachaʼ

While he was laughing, there was a crisp sound and as soon as he heard, Ceru replied, ”Finally, itʼs broken. Go and save Keshe and Brave,”

Ceru asked Geron to leave and check on the two young spirit beasts.

”Please donʼt die on me. Just hold on a minute. I will check on them and come back as soon as possible,”

Geron had already thought about something; however, before that, he had to check something. So, he asked Ceru to stay alive until he came back.

”Until then, take these high-level healing pills,”

”Someone come here and look after him,”

Soon, he put many high-level healing pills into the crimson wolfʼs mouth and asked others to take care of Ceru before rushing towards his daughter.

ʼKesheʼ

ʼBraveʼ

As soon as he rushed towards the young spirit beasts, Geron saw both of them were unconsciously lying on the ground which made him very anxious.
