New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 663: Becoming the target

Since Elder Esmund had taken out 14 low-level heaven grade hammers, Ajax felt that he must have middle-level upgrade stones and success stones. So, he was excited as he saw some hope in upgrading the ʼSeal breaking compassʼ within less time.

ʼClangʼ

ʼClankʼ

Soon, along with other young cultivators, Ajax started hitting the metal block with the sealed hammer.

ʼI will wait for sometime before unsealing it,ʼ

Ajax felt that unsealing the hammer after someone did that or at the end of the trial before giving up the trial.

So, he thought to wait for some time as he continued the hitting process.

ʼSwooshʼ

Just a few moments after starting the trial, the black hammer in Dark flameʼs hands started glowing and all of a sudden the previous common-looking black hammer turned into an exquisite hammer.

ʼHuh?ʼ

Dark flame felt the hammer in his hands become lighter and at the same time, his speed at which he was hitting the metal increased by many times making all the other participants stop what they were doing.

ʼI feel like I can hit this metal block forever,ʼ

Dark flame didnʼt stop hitting the metal block; instead, he increased his speed and continued to hit the metal block.

ʼHey, what is happening to Dark flameʼs hammer?ʼ

ʼIt looks great,ʼ

ʼIs there something we have to do in order to make our black hammers turn into an exquisite one?ʼ

All the young cultivators looked at the hammers in their hands and then looked at the exquisite hammer in Dark flameʼs hands and muttered to themselves.

They felt there was something that they needed to do to make the common looking hammer into an exquisite hammer; however, they were unable to find what it was.

ʼMaybe, I should just hit the metal block and it will automatically become an exquisite hammer after some time,ʼ

Everyone thought the same thing in their minds before continuing their hammering.

ʼEsmund looks like you already found a personal disciple,ʼ

ʼIf you want, you can directly take him as your disciple,ʼ

Just like young cultivators, the vagrant cultivators were also surprised that one of the participants would unseal the hammer just after a few moments and they directly asked Elder Esmund to pick Dark flame as his personal disciple.

ʼSure,ʼ

According to their original plan, they had to wait until all the trials were completed; however, when there was a participant, you showed excellent performance in any trial.

And at the same time, if they have a good affinity with one of the six vagrant cultivatorʼs professions or techniques, then they could just take them as a personal disciple just like how Elder Elek took Lewis and Jeff as his personal disciples.

So, after hearing that the other vagrant cultivators had no objections, Elder Esmund nodded his head.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

Just as he nodded his head, the hammers in the hands of both Silver Goliath and Fearless Gorilla started glowing just like how the hammer in Dark flameʼs hands glowed.

Similar to Dark flame, both of them continued to hit the metal block because they felt more powerful and wanted to test their limits.

ʼClangʼ

ʼClankʼ

ʼWhat? Another two?ʼ

While they continued to hit the metal block with full power, the six vagrant cultivators, who were already shocked by one hammer unsealing, received another shock.

Because it was not even 15 minutes after the first unsealing and another two participants unsealed the hammer and used its full power to hit the metal.

ʼExcellent,ʼ

Unlike other vagrant cultivators, Elder Esmundʼs shock had turned into excitement as he watched two burly participants.

ʼShould I take those two as my disciples too?ʼ

Soon, Elder Esmund suppressed his excitement and asked the other vagrant cultivators about it.

ʼSigh…looks like it is your lucky day, Esmund,ʼ

ʼYou can take them too; however, donʼt forget to make them a great forging master just like you,ʼ

ʼYes...and as long as we provide materials, they should be able to forge a peak level heaven grade items just like you,ʼ

All the other vagrant cultivators sighed as they shook their heads and agreed to Elder Esmundʼs words.

Actually, there was a reason why the other vagrant cultivators didnʼt bother fighting over them with Elder Esmund. Because they have to wait months or sometimes even years to get a weapon or artifact to be forged by Elder Esmund as there would be a queue.

Even though he only forges weapons for the six vagrant cultivators, he would take months or years to forge the request placed by the other vagrant cultivators.

Moreover, he also needs to cultivate. So, naturally, it would take time.

And now, after seeing that there were three cultivators who had talent in forging appeared in front of them. So, of course, they would give those young cultivators to Elder Esmund.

ʼLooks like I can unseal it now,ʼ

Ajax looked at the other participants for a while before finally deciding to unseal the hammer in his hands.

Since there were already three participants who unsealed the hammers within a short time after the trial had started, Ajax felt there was nothing to worry about in unsealing the hammer.

ʼUnsealʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

With a thought, the hammer in his hands started glowing brightly which gave another surprise to everyone around him; however, after three shocks, they no longer felt much shock or surprise.

After taking a look at the participant, the young cultivators went back to hitting the metal block hoping their chance would come soon.

However, the more they hit, the more tired they were and finally after a few moments, one by one started collapsing onto the ground.

ʼTh...this is so good,ʼ

As for Ajax, he didnʼt have time to look at his surroundings; instead, he was focused on hitting the metal block with an excited look on his face just like Dark flame and others.

Just as he expected, the feeling after unsealing the hammer made him greatly excited.

ʼSo, how about….,ʼ

ʼWe will not agree,ʼ

ʼWe already gave you three personal disciples. So, itʼs best to leave him for last,ʼ

ʼYes, letʼs leave that choice to the kid,ʼ

Before Elder Esmund could say anything, all the other vagrant cultivators interrupted him as they disagreed with what he was about to say.

Elder Esmund wanted to ask that he wanted to take Ajax as his personal disciples along with others who showed talent in forging; however, how could other vagrant cultivators agree to his request.

For them, Ajax had a pure essence of nature along with more spirit consciousness capacity compared to others with the same cultivation realm.? So, of course, all the vagrant cultivators would compete for him.

ʼ...ʼ

Hearing their words, Elder Esmund became speechless as he shook his head and didnʼt bother to ask them anymore.

When multiple vagrant cultivators want the same participant as their personal disciple, then they have to entice the participant and make him willingly become their personal disciple.

ʼLetʼs see,ʼ

At the same time, all the vagrant cultivators got to know that Ajax had already become a target in the eyes of other vagrant cultivators, they looked at each other and nodded their heads with a competitive look on their face.
