New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 692: Mishap?

Ajax only has the energy orbs that could elevate his cultivation to the level 7 elite commander realm; however, he still needed a few more energy orbs to enter the general realm.

To get energy orbs, the system needs to generate ʼA+ʼ danger rating missions.

Moreover, he would be under special training for the next 10 days and I will be unable to complete them even if the system generated any new ʼAʼ rating mission.

After that, I will be busy with the champions contest.

ʼLooks like I will need to wait for some time before taking revenge on the assassin sect,ʼ

Ajax took a deep breath and concluded the issues regarding his cultivation and resumed back to his plans.

ʼTime to fill my spirit consciousness once again,ʼ

Just like earlier, he once again continued to use the level 3 Heaven and earth refining technique to fill his spirit consciousness to upgrade his last cultivation technique, Cloud steps.

There was still a lot of time. So, Ajax didnʼt bother resting; instead, he continued to increase his essence of nature.

...

In the depths of the middle section of the cursed wilderness,

”Phew...finally I am back to my territory,”

The forest fairy king flew back to his territory from the depth of the inner section at an incredible speed fearing that the other spirit beast kings might plot something against him.

However, nothing happened as he feared and he came back to his territory without any mishaps.

”Once Keshe and brave wakes up, I will give them these cultivation resources and within less than a year, they would gain their original cultivation,”

Geron didnʼt waste any time as he directly walked towards where Keshe and Brave were re-cultivating under the protection of a barrier and Ceru.

ʼBoomʼ

Just as he was about to reach that place, a huge explosion occurred from the direction where Keshe and Brave were re-cultivating.

ʼOh no,ʼ

Geron became anxious when he heard the huge explosion from that direction and hurriedly rushed towards them.

Soon, he reached the place; however, it was entirely covered by smoke and his senses could not pass after a certain distance that made him even more anxious.

Because if someone is undergoing a re-cultivation process, their surroundings should be peaceful and they should not be disturbed in any way.

By chance, they were disturbed, they would die for sure or in the worst case, they might turn into a mindless cultivator.

ʼDamn it...I should have been guarding here instead of going to meet the King,ʼ

Soon, Geron started blaming himself and continued to search for his daughter inside the smoke.

”Brother,”

Before he could see what was happening inside the smoke, he heard an anxious tone from beside and it belonged to Ceru.

”What happened,”

Geron asked Ceru with a serious expression on his face.

”I donʼt know bother,” Ceru revealed a worried look on his face as he explained, ”Everything was going perfectly and all of a sudden, both Keshe and Brave were covered in green and black coloured cocoons….”

”Then what happened? Say properly,”

Geron was unable to calm down as he urged Ceru to properly explain him.

”In the next second, both the cocoon blasted and the entire area inside the barrier was filled with black and green coloured smoke. This barrier is stopping us from going inside and also blocking our senses,”

Ceru explained everything that happened before Geron coming here.

”Damn it...isnʼt that our barrier? Just removing the spirit stones supply,”

Geron was so angry because his daughter was inside the barrier and he still didnʼt know whether she was alive or not. So, he shouted at Ceru.

Every barrier works with the help of the essence of nature supplied to them. Be it the essence of nature from the spirit stones or from the spirit consciousness of the cultivator.

As for Ceru, he knew why Geron was very angry. So, he didnʼt mind Geronʼs shouting and replied, ”Actually, the barrier has a supply of the essence of nature that is sufficient for it to last for another seven days.”

Ceru replied in an apologetic tone because yesterday itself he had an additional supply of the spirit stones to the barrier.

”Sigh”

Geron sighed after hearing Geronʼs word and collapsed onto the ground as he looked at the barrier with a worried look on his face.

”Brother,”

Ceru hurriedly went to support Geron; however, before he could help, Geron was already on the ground.

”I should have used the re-cultivation technique instead of giving it to her first,”

Geron continued to look into the barrier filled with the dual coloured smoke as he started blaming himself.

Since both Geron and her daughter were from the same ʼForest fairy raceʼ, they could use the same re-cultivation technique; however, his son, Kesheʼs big brother asked him to let Keshe use that cultivation technique and later she would teach him that re-cultivation technique.

The re-cultivation process is not 100 percent safe.

Gaining power comes with a risk.

ʼIs there any way, we can destroy the barrier?ʼ

After staying silent for a while, Geron finally asked Ceru about destroying the barrier.

”This is the most powerful barrier we have in our territory. Moreover, it is designed after your skill that could reflect all attacks. So, it is almost impossible to destroy it unless someone can destroy it in one shot,”

Ceru bitterly shook his head as he explained about the barrier.

In the past, they used to proudly say about the barrier; however, at the moment, there was no proud look while explaining about it.

”So be it. I will use destroy it,”

Geronʼs earlier worried look was replaced with a serious look that made Ceru anxious.

”Brother”

Ceru hurriedly stopped Geron from attacking the barrier.

”Ceru, please move aside. I donʼt want to attack you,”

Geron asked Ceru in a low yet deep voice that made Ceru shiver; however, he didnʼt move and stood in front of Geron blocking him from attacking the barrier.

”What is it, Ceru. Do you want me to stay here until the barrier is destroyed? Stay like this in a dilemma whether my daughter is alive or not?”

”Okay. Leave everything and say it about yourself. If your daughter was inside the barrier, you would have waited here for the next 7 days?”

Geron continued to say one thing after another and Ceru was unable to reply to him because he would do the same if his daughter was inside the barrier.

”So, please move aside and let me save my daughter,”

Geron knew full well of Ceru as they were known from the initial stages of their cultivation and went through thick and through.

”Still I will not move aside. You are the king of this middle section of the cursed wilderness and if something happens to you, everyone would become slaves to the spirit beast kings from the inner section,”

Ceru maintained a serious look on his face as he didnʼt move from his place.

”You...”

Geron became so angry when he heard those words and he didnʼt know what to do.

”If that is the case, then I have to use force to move you aside,”

Geron released his cultivation pressure as he replied in an angry tone.
