New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 642: ʼGolden Wyvern Kingʼ agreed to form a contract?

”Maybe until now, you didnʼt find a real opponent. Donʼt worry, dying in my hands is also considered a great thing for you,”

Gaimont shook his head as he once again rushed forward; however, this time his target was Darbaudr.

”Take this,”

Gaimont summoned another long sword similar to the one that was already in his hands and slashed it at Darabudr.

ʼSwooshʼ

ʼSwooshʼ

Soon, many sword waves of around three meters in length flew towards Darbaudr.

”Donʼt make me laugh with this kind of moves,”

Darbaudr didnʼt move from his place as he created exactly the same number of swords waves and sent them towards the incoming sword waves.

ʼBoomʼ

ʼBoomʼ

Whenever the sword waves collide with each other, a small explosion would be created making the surrounding spirit beasts to run away from that place.

”You are not bad...but it is not enough for you to win over me,”

After finishing his words, the Golden Wyvern king brought his two long swords closer and merged them before revealing a cruel smile on his face.

”Now, letʼs see whether you can stop the sword wave created from my ʼMerged swordʼ,”

As soon as he finished his words, Gaimont released a huge sword wave of around 10 meters long at Ajax and others.

ʼYoung master, I need some help,ʼ

Darbaudr hurriedly positioned himself in front of Ajax and asked him to help him a little.

While asking for help from Ajax, Darbaudr released hundreds of sword waves at the incoming huge sword wave.

ʼSureʼ

Ajax also didnʼt take the huge sword wave lightly as he hurriedly summoned the ʼHeavenʼs destroyer and threw it at the huge sword wave using his level 2 spear dao.

ʼHuh? A legend grade weapon?ʼ

ʼNo, itʼs still in the heaven grade; however, itʼs power matches to that of a low-level legend grade weapon,ʼ

Seeing the ʼHeavenʼs destroyerʼ, Gaimont was shocked for a moment before becoming excited and thinking. ʼAs long as I kill him, the spear will be mine. Moreover, I can wage war against other territories.ʼ

All of a sudden, Gaimont felt that he was being helped by the heavens.

He was not only getting the bloodline of a ʼSnow Lion Emperorʼ but he was also getting a weapon that was on par with a legend grade weapon.

ʼBOOMʼ

The heavenʼs destroyer along with the hundred of sword waves from Darbaudr easily destroyed the huge sword wave.

”You gave me a nice surprise, brat,”

Gaimont didnʼt feel anything even when his huge sword wave was destroyed as he laughed at Ajax.

”I will give you more surprises if you become my contracted spirit beast. I can make you the king of entire cursed wilderness if you follow me on your own; however, you will lose all the benefits if I forcefully make you my contract spirit beast,”

Ajax was really surprised by the power of the Golden Wyvern King because he felt Darbaudr could take care of him as his current battle powers were only 60 percent.

However, after seeing the simple sword wave from him, Ajax felt he had to be careful with the spirit beast and offered him as he didnʼt want to use his trump cards.

”Haha...brat, Didnʼt I already told you to stop joking in front of me,”

Hearing Ajaxʼs words, Gaimont laughed for a moment before saying to Ajax with a serious look on his face.

”...”

However, Ajax didnʼt give any reply and looked at Gaimont with a calm expression on his face.

”Fine then”

All of a sudden, the spirit beast nodded his head and replied to Ajax for his earlier words, ”As long as you say all the benefits you will give me along with the proof. I donʼt mind becoming a friend to you; however, you are obsessed with me becoming your contracted spirit beast, then I will kill you.”

After carefully thinking Ajaxʼs words, Gainmont started his conditions.

He didnʼt mind becoming friends with a young man who had the powerful bodyguard and a weapon as powerful as a low-level legend grade weapon if sufficient benefits were given to him.

As for becoming a contracted spirit beast, Gaimont directly said not to waste their time in convincing him.

There was another reason why he didnʼt want to fight them as he had to use all his trump cards and he would temporarily become weaker which was not a good thing.

”Sigh”

Hearing Gaimontʼs words, Ajax heaved a huge sigh as he continued, ”I will make you ʼGolden Dragon Kingʼ within a year as long as you become my contract spirit beast.”

Ajax didnʼt want to waste time as he directly offered the greatest thing that any wyvern would yearn for.

ʼWhat?ʼ

The Golden Wyvern King was shocked by Ajaxʼs words; however, he didnʼt believe him and replied to Ajax, ”Brat, donʼt just speak nonsense.”

”If you donʼt want to believe it, then donʼt believe it. You are missing the biggest chance in your life. Just imagine, how your subordinates will see you when you become a true dragon?”

Ajax started adding words that made Gaimontʼs willpower weaken with each sentence that Ajax had said.

”Fine, I will agree to become your contracted spirit beast. But….,”

”Within exactly a year, I will make you a pure dragon and I am swearing on the heavens. If I fail to make you a pure dragon, I will break the contract on my own and receive the complete backlash on my own,

Before Gaimont could finish his sentence, Ajax swore to the heaven and the sky above them rumbled with his swear that made Gaimont believe his words.

Moreover, Ajax added that he would take the complete backlash that comes after breaking a spirit contract to make it look more impactful.

”Can you let them go now?”

Ajax pointed at the snow lions and asked Gaimont.

”Since you already swore to the heavens in making me a pure dragon, why do I want him? Even if I consume his entire blood, there is only a 10 percent chance of becoming a pure dragon,”

All of a sudden, the ʼGolden Wyvern Kingʼ acted like he didnʼt care about the snow lions and walked towards them with a nonchalant expression on his face.

ʼDarbaudr, be careful,ʼ

Ajax didnʼt place his spirit imprint in the spirit consciousness of the Golden wyvern king. So, he asked the barbarian to be careful as he still didnʼt know whether he could trust Gaimontʼs words or not.

”What are you waiting for? Place your spirit imprint and help me become a pure dragon. I want to see how you will do that,”

After coming near Ajax, Gaimont asked him to place his spirit imprint.

”Okay”

Ajax nodded his head and looked at the barbarian for a second before placing his hand on the Golden Wyvern Kingʼs chest and entered into his spirit consciousness.

ʼHuh? Is this his spirit consciousness?ʼ

Ajax was shocked to see such a huge spirit consciousness in his life and searched for a spot to place his spirit imprint.

ʼHereʼ

Soon, he flew to a spot to place his spirit imprint.

ʼAarghʼ

Just when he was about to place a spirit imprint, he felt a piercing pain in his head as Ajaxʼs real fell to the ground while revealing a groan.
