New Age Of Summoners

Chapter 620: Black robed old man

In the depths of the cursed wilderness,

ʼI didnʼt think father will easily agree to me to go into the depth of the cursed wilderness that easily,ʼ

A beautiful woman donned in light green coloured dress muttered in a barely audible voice while searching for something.

ʼIt is because you allowed your marriage decision to him. After you said that, he was over the moon and nodded his head without thinking much,ʼ Beside her, there was a black coloured lion around the same height as the beautiful woman.

ʼTapʼ

”Brave, why are you remembering the thing I hate the most. I donʼt want to marry anyone anytime soon,”

As soon as she heard the words of the black lion, the beautiful woman stopped in her tracks and lightly tapped the head of the black lion beside her.

Thatʼs right!

The beautiful woman was none other than Keshe and the black lion beside her was the Demonic lion king which was named Brave.

After promising Ajax about searching for his friends in the cursed wilderness, she started searching the entire middle section of the cursed wilderness; however, she could not find a clue about Ajaxʼs friends.

So, she decided to enter the depths of the cursed wilderness with her fatherʼs permission in a condition that she had to marry someone.

To which, Keshe nodded her head and easily got the permission and a ring from her father.

”With this ring, no powerful spirit beast kings will bother us and we can venture the depths of the cursed wilderness without any problem,”

Keshe lightly touched the green coloured ring on her finger and said to the demonic lion king.

”So, why are you doing this for him? Do you like him or more than that? My dear master,”

The demonic lion king asked Keshe while letting out some growls as though he was teasing her.

Despite the Demonic lion king being a servant of Keshe, she never looked at him like a servant and treated him like a friend.

”Punch”

This time, Keshe didnʼt tap the demonic lion kingʼs head; instead, she punched him before saying, ”Itʼs not like what you think. I treat him like my little brother because he was different from all the humans and I felt some kind of closeness towards him just like my big brother.”

After finishing her words, Keshe became a little sad as she recalled about her big brother.

”Your brother is the reason for the rise of spirit beastsʼ knowledge and he said he will come back when he has some time. So, donʼt worry,” The demonic lion king tried to console her while lightly patting her head with its huge lion paw.

”Huh?” All of a sudden, the sad expression on her face changed and was replaced with an angry one as she shouted at the demonic lion king, ”How many times do I have to tell you. Donʼt keep your dirty paw in my head.”

”Haha...just like always, I forgot that,” The demonic lion king laughed as he removed his paw from her head.

”Also, I have another reason to come into the depths of the cursed wilderness other than searching for Ajaxʼs friends,” With the same angry look on her face, Keshe mysteriously replied to the demonic lion king.

”I know it already...Haha,” The demonic lion king was staying with Keshe since he was a cub. So, he knew many things about Keshe. And he replied that he also knew her other reason to enter the depths of the cursed wilderness.

”...”

Keshe wanted to keep the demonic lion king in the suspense; however, he made her speechless with his words.

”From your childhood, you said you wanted to enter the depths of the cursed wilderness and you just found the exact time to ask your father to allow you,” The demonic lion king replied while moving forward.

”Thatʼs right! However, I still didnʼt understand why my father allowed me to enter the depths of the cursed wilderness all of a sudden,”

Keshe still had many doubts regarding her fatherʼs permission to enter the depths of the cursed wilderness because he didnʼt allow her from her childhood saying that she should not enter the depths of the cursed wilderness.

Nevertheless, she didnʼt ask because she worried her father might change his mind and stop her from entering the depths of the cursed wilderness.

”Keshe….someone is coming,”

ʼSwooshʼ

While they were having some conversation, the demonic lion king sensed some energy fluctuations; however, before he could finish his sentence,?someone stood in front of them.

ʼEverything will be fine. I have the ring from the father,ʼ

Keshe unconsciously touched the ring on her finger and calmed down and looked at the sudden appearance of an old man in front of them.

The old man stared at them whereas they didnʼt dare to match the eye contact with them because they were unable to sense the cultivation of the old man in front of him.

”Swoosh”

Just as Keshe and the demonic lion king were wondering what to do now, another old man in green robes appeared and stood in front of them while facing the old man from earlier.

”Uncle”

”Master”

Keshe and the demonic lion king became happy when they saw the second old man and greeted him.

The old man nodded his head at them before looking at the old man in black robes and asked, ”Respected master, we didnʼt know it was your territory. Sorry for disturbing you. Can you please let us off?”

”Ths is not my territory and you can go; however, I am using this place for some more days. Spread the word to other spirit beasts not to enter this region,” The old man in black robes looked at the old man in green robes along with Keshe and the demonic lion king behind him for a moment before replied to the old man.

”Yes, respected master,”

Kesheʼs uncle nodded his head with a tone full of respect.

ʼWhat the hell? Why is my uncle so respectful to him?ʼ

ʼI have never seen my master respect someone other than Kesheʼs father,ʼ

Both Keshe and the demonic lion king looked at the old man in black robes with fearful faces.

According to them, Kesheʼs uncle was already powerful and only weaker than her father; however, seeing that he was so polite to them, their minds were in a frenzy.

”Letʼs go”

After hearing the black-robed old manʼs words, Kesheʼs uncle hurriedly said to Keshe and the demonic lion king.

Without speaking a single word, both of them turned back and started following the green-robed old man.

”Uncle, is the old man more powerful than you?” After moving some distance away, Keshe asked the green-robed old man.

”Yes. He is much stronger than your father and anyone I have met in my life,” The green-robed old man wiped the sweat from his forehead as he continued, ”Moreover, the pressure I felt earlier was making my heart unsettled even now.”

”What?”

Both Keshe and the demonic lion king were shocked by the green-robed old manʼs words and unconsciously shouted out loud.

At the same time, they noticed that the green-robed manʼs whole body was still having a slight shiver and felt his words were real.

”Donʼt shout. We still donʼt know who he is and what he is doing here. He might change his mind and kill us all here,” The green-robed old man hurriedly asked them to calm down.

Without wasting a second, Keshe closed her mouth and turned back her head to glance at the old man in the black robes.

”I think he is not from our province. I need to inform your father about this old man. So, we need to get out of here as soon as possible,”

Even though the green-robed old man said those words, he didnʼt run; instead, he slowly walked and made others walk just like him fearing that the black-robed old man might come after them.

”If he is stronger than my father, then his cultivation must be…..,”

”Wait for a second, young lady,”

Before Keshe could finish her sentence, she heard a low but powerful voice from behind her which made everyone halt in their steps.

”What is it, respected master,” As soon as he heard those words, Kesheʼs uncle hurriedly moved and stood in front of Keshe and asked the black-robed man.

”How do you know, Ajax?”
