Transmigrated To Ancient Time: Thrive With An Auction System!

Chapter 20: Blind Reward Box

After earning a huge amount of money, Yao Zhi prepared to go home. This time, she didn’t put the items into her shop’s warehouse right away. Only when she had left the border town and no one was around did she put everything into her warehouse.

It took her three hours before she reached her house. With the bamboo basket, no one knew what she had bought. So, after she took a quick shower and changed her clothes, she took out the meat jerky she bought from the shop and stored it in a jar.

After walking for so long, she was too lazy to cook. Rubbing her stomach, she opened the system’s shop and bought a bowl of cold noodles for two points.

While she was eating, she finally had time to check the wild ginseng she had put up for auction yesterday.

She thought that the wild ginseng would be sold for eighty thousand points at most. Unexpectedly, when she opened the auction, she saw that it had been sold for three hundred eighty-five thousand points.

Even after buying a lot of things today, she still had a total of four hundred fourteen thousand seven hundred four points now. Staring at the points, Yao Zhi licked her lips and said, ”With so many points, I should be counted as a rich woman now?”

Just after her words fell, the blue screen suddenly shook, and a new function popped up with a ding.

”Congratulations! The first hidden mission, earning a total of four hundred thousand points, has been completed! A blind reward box has been issued!”

Yao Zhi looked at the black box on the transparent blue screen and tapped on it. The next moment, a warning popped up.

”To open the blind reward box, the host needs to pay 300,000 points.”

When she saw the warning, Yao Zhi was angry. She just earned her first pot of gold, and the system couldn’t wait to take away her money!

Five minutes passed, and she had calmed down. Although it was painful to spend so many points at once, she would be able to earn them back in the future. So, after a long hesitation, she finally paid the points.

The moment her points were deducted by 300,000 points, the box opened, and several items appeared.

On the screen, there was a nine-grid farmland similar to a farming game. Beside the farmland, there was a river icon, a brown pill, and several books inside a box.

Even though she didn’t know what the pill was, she still accepted everything. After all, she spent so much money on it.

As soon as she accepted the rewards, Yao Zhi’s mind blurred, and the next moment, she stood in a place where there was only a river and nine plots of black soil.

She looked around and thought, ’Is this the farmland I just received?’

Lowering her gaze, she saw a blue screen in front of her and read the information. It turned out that this was spatial farmland, one of the system’s functions. While she seemed to be inside, only her mind could enter this place. Her body was still outside.

The river was inexhaustible and had healing properties. If used to irrigate the black soil, it could improve the plants’ quality and hasten their growth. Everything planted on the black soil would ripen in ten days.

After gaining a basic understanding of this place, Yao Zhi thought that while it was expensive, it was indeed good stuff. Then, she used her mind to plant the seeds she had bought from the border market.

Besides some grains, she also planted the vegetable and fruit seeds. There were also some seeds she didn’t recognize, so she divided the plots and planted all types of seeds.

When she was done, she left the spatial farmland. Opening her eyes, she took out the brown pill. The moment the pill fell into her palm, the information panel appeared above it.

”Name: Bone Marrow Cleaning Pill. Function: Washes the bone marrow and opens the meridians. Detoxifies all toxins and strengthens the body.”

The moment she read the information, Yao Zhi’s eyes lit up. At this moment, she trusted the system completely. ”This came at the perfect time! Maybe after eating this pill, I can gain some strength.”

Yao Zhi’s body was too weak and needed more strength. Without wasting any more time, she took the pill and drank some water from the farmland river. As soon as the pill entered her mouth, it melted instantly.

After taking the pill, Yao Zhi waited for a long time, but nothing happened.

She scratched the back of her head and muttered, ”Strange. Isn’t the process of washing the bone marrow and opening the meridians supposed to be a painful process? Why do I feel nothing?”

Since she couldn’t find the answer, she put the matter to the back of her mind and went to take a nap. Today, she might have reached ten thousand steps or even more. Her calves were so sore that they felt as heavy as lead.

Despite feeling tired, she still washed her face and brushed her teeth. When she was done, she finally lay on the bamboo bed. Soon after her head touched the bamboo pillow, a loud snore echoed inside the room.

Early the next morning, before dawn, Fu Chen’an finally finished his duty and returned to his tent. The thought of his wife waiting for him at home filled him with energy. Even though he hadn’t slept the whole night, he didn’t feel sleepy at all.

Just after he finished packing up his clothes, Xiao Wei entered the tent and said, ”The barbarians are attacking the border town. Everyone gathers in five minutes.”

As soon as he finished his words, everyone quickly put on their armor and grabbed their weapons, including Fu Chen’an. In less than five minutes, they were already standing in a neat line, waiting for orders.

Standing at the front of his team, Fu Chen’an looked at his Captain and clenched his fists. He couldn’t go back to spend time with his wife again. He didn’t know if she would be angry with him or not.
