Beating Instances through Words Left by the Dead

Chapter 996: Chapter 417: Extraordinary and Conflict

Wu Chang wasn’t surprised that He Yun mastered the knowledge within the Mechanical Crown in just a few days.

With the Mechanical Heart, He Yun can multitask, dividing a problem into many parts and studying each part simultaneously with her separated consciousness.

As long as her research doesn’t hit a bottleneck, it’s as if she has dozens or even hundreds of times more time than an average person for research.

Moreover, since He Yun has already mastered the technology of the Underground Shelter and Hymn Company from two different planes, it’s no surprise she quickly researched the Mechanical Crown from the steam engine era.

The effect of the Mechanical Heart is powerful, but the only downside is that He Yun can currently only manipulate machinery; she can’t use computers as an external brain or upload her consciousness to the network to access any information anytime, anywhere.

If she could do so, there would be no need for artificial intelligence in the future. The qualitative difference between AI, which mimics human thinking patterns, and a human with computing power and information access capability is vast.

Wu Chang, observing the mechanical automaton He Yun created, said:

”You were so interested in the Differential Machine before; I thought you might go to Stilan yourself.”

He Yun, completing the final adjustments on the mechanical automaton, whose hollow pupils lit up and turned its head 180 degrees to look at Wu Chang behind her, said:

”Using this body to enter Stilan is no different from going there myself.”

Wu Chang curled his lips and said, ”This scene is so bizarre; can’t we communicate in a more normal way?”

”Of course,” He Yun responded.

Her mechanical automaton’s head didn’t move, but its body twisted around, facing Wu Chang directly.

Wu Chang rolled his eyes, thinking to himself how odd it was.

Ever since He Yun gained the ability of the Mechanical Heart, her actions have differed slightly from those of ordinary people.

His intuition told him that he must control He Yun’s growth rate in the future, advancing step by step. If He Yun’s will cannot control the power she gains, she might get lost in the power without realizing it.

Currently, it seems He Yun can still control herself. If the opportunity arises, he must find a way to help He Yun improve her will a bit.

Temporarily suppressing his worries about He Yun, Wu Chang asked:

”How many worlds can your separated consciousness exist in simultaneously, and does this separation of consciousness affect you?”

He Yun, with a thoughtful look in her eyes, said:

”Passing consciousness through the plane barriers consumes a lot of my energy. With my current ability, I can maintain at most two cross-plane consciousnesses.”

”One consciousness needs to be resident in your world; between the Underground Shelter and Stilan, I can only choose one to stay in.”

”However, the knowledge in the Mechanical Crown has given me much inspiration, making me vaguely see a hint of Divinity. If one day I can awaken Divinity, then I can separate more cross-plane consciousnesses.”

Envy flashed in Wu Chang’s eyes. The Plane Son is indeed incomparable to ordinary people; by relying on Spiritual Power Activation Surgery and the Mechanical Crown, He Yun awakened twice in succession and could vaguely see the boundary of Divinity.

If such an improvement speed were told to other Abyssal Game Players, they would likely be envious enough to bite their pillows at night.

The Super Factory created by He Yun was divided into 184 modules. Wu Chang transported them 37 times, barely managing to move everything.

Even though Wu Chang possesses the Power of Spatial Root Source, crossing nearly forty planes consecutively made him feel dizzy and light-headed.

Yet, when he saw everything before him, he knew it was worth it.

In the Tianmu Third District factory building, Wu Chang watched as hundreds of large machines slowly moved and assembled, eventually forming a gigantic multifunctional assembly line.

He Yun’s voice came from Wu Chang’s phone, saying:

”Most of the products from Hymn Company and all the machinery from the Underground Shelter can be manufactured through this production line.”

”I need a day to briefly understand the technological level of the world you are in, and then make some adjustments to the products. However, when I entered this industrial park, I investigated several high-tech companies and could only say that the world you are in has a lot of room for improvement at this stage.”

Wu Chang rubbed his nose, unable to help asking, ”If you were to say it with low EQ, what would you say?”

He Yun said, ”That is, the technology is still relatively backward, and the utilization rate of Energy is quite low.”

After all, it is his own world, so Wu Chang tried to defend it: ”Each world has different focuses; it’s normal for technology to be slightly behind.”

He Yun, curious, asked, ”What is the specialty of your world?”

”Er, probably good luck,” Wu Chang briefly hesitated and then gave an answer.

Among countless planes in the universe, being chosen by the Abyssal Game and officially recognized as a lucky star by the game, how could it not be considered a specialty?

With the production line assembled, Wu Chang called Li Xingyao over to discuss the company’s subsequent plans with him.

Entering the factory, Li Xingyao was dumbfounded by the enormous production line that suddenly appeared in the factory building.

In the Eternal Light Church, although Wu Chang wasn’t crowned, his status was equivalent to the Pope of the Eternal Light Sect.

This factory was a project Wu Chang set his sights on, and before the task was completed, Li Xingyao would come to inspect it himself every day.

This morning, when he came, the factory building was still in a bare state, completely empty. How did so much appear inside after only a few hours?

He looked up around him, and if he wasn’t mistaken, the internal space of the building had also expanded four or five times more than he remembered.
