Beating Instances through Words Left by the Dead

Chapter 243: Chapter 168: Sea Song (Part 3)

A crew member walked up to the First Mate and swung a steel pipe at his face with great force, knocking out two of his front teeth.

Yet the First Mate merely let out a cold laugh, spit out the teeth from his mouth, and continued to curse with his gap-filled teeth.

The captain dug his ear impatiently.

He looked at the other losers in the scene and said with a smile, ”You all are heretics doubting my lord; as logic dictates, you must die. Do you know, the stake, the impalement, the hanging, the torture rack, the Iron Maiden, which one would you like to choose?”

”Have you guys gone to see the storeroom on the first floor? Bishop Pu foresaw such damn heretics, and specifically replicated a full set of items for torturing heretics; the history of these items can be traced back to the Middle Ages.”

The captain took a deep breath, a pleased smile appearing on his face, as if he couldn’t wait for the upcoming spectacle.

”When they tear and rip you apart bit by bit, you can feel the weight of history and the thousand-year accumulation of religion. Compared to dying by soulless weapons like knives and guns, you are indeed very fortunate.”

Most of the rebels were young people, summoned by the First Mate, whose blood surged after the call and joined the rebellion quickly.

When the rebellion failed and their fervor cooled down, they began to regret and fear, and now upon hearing the captain’s words, they were even more at a loss.

Knowing it now, they would rather have died in battle like the other companions than remain until now.

Seeing everyone trembling, the captain’s expression became more satisfied.

”Now, I give you a chance for redemption, an opportunity to join us.”

As he spoke, he threw a dagger on the ground, kicked it into the crowd, and pointed at the First Mate, saying:

”To mend your way, you must bathe in the blood of heretics; kill him and you can join us.”

The next moment, people scrambled madly for the dagger.

A few minutes later, a burly bald man, as wide as a double door, snatched the dagger from the crowd, gripped it with both hands, and stabbed it into the First Mate’s chest.

The First Mate fell dead on the spot.

The captain gestured for the strong man to come over, cut off the binding on his hands, and said with a smile, ”Welcome to join us.”

A crew-cut man who had lost to the strong man in the struggle for the knife said, ”What about us?”

The captain gave the crew member a look, and the crew member understood, took out a bag, and poured out more than a dozen daggers.

”I mentioned before, to mend your ways, you must bathe in the blood of heretics. Take your time; in the end, only half of you will leave this hall.”

As he said this, the captain moved a chair to sit down, ready to enjoy the forthcoming slaughter. Just as he sat down, he suddenly recalled something and shouted:

”Wait!”

Everyone looked at him with hope, thinking he had a change of heart and things took a turn, only to hear the captain say:

”Your sins are too deep, so I changed my mind, only a quarter. Those who survive are responsible for collecting the blood properly; the blood should not be wasted, the ritual still needs enough for two hundred portions.”

The scene in the grievance ended there, and Wu Chang returned to his senses, a blood-colored will appearing before his eyes.

[Kill the captain!]

Wu Chang looked at the blood-colored will in front of him, speechless. No, where can I find your Sea Song captain that killed you?

If it’s really not feasible, what if I take out the Star Jump captain and send him to you? Can you make do with that?

Anyway, they’re both captains and are all in cahoots with the New Cosmos Sect.

Just as he was trying to negotiate with the grievance, his Inspiration stirred, sensing mystical energy surging below.

It seemed like someone was fighting beneath them.
