The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 2283: Chapter 2283: I’m Happy (29)

After around two quarters of an hour, they finally reached the village entrance. At this point, unmarried women couldn’t continue because, according to the ancestral rules passed down in the rural areas here, it’s considered unlucky for unmarried women to visit graves.

As for how it’s unlucky or for whom, there isn’t a specific explanation. It’s just something passed down from ancestors, and descendants follow it.

Sanni pulled Sini and Erya to a stop.

”Third Sister, has Grandma really gone to heaven?” Erya looked at the departing group, still somewhat bewildered.

”No, she’s gone to Hell,” Sini shook her head seriously, ”She was too mean, and besides, she’s no longer our grandma.”

”Oh.” Erya quickly raised her hand to cover her mouth, ”You’re talking about that old witch.”

”Enough.” Sanni glanced at her two younger sisters, ”No matter what kind of person she was before, she’s gone now. Respect for the deceased is important, and we can’t talk about her like this anymore, got it? Otherwise, people will say we’re ill-bred and it will affect our elder sister and her husband.”

The two girls quickly covered their mouths: ”Got it, we won’t say it anymore.”

”But I’m really happy.” Erya couldn’t help but laugh while covering her mouth and leaned closer to Sini’s ear, ”I don’t have to dream about the old witch coming to grab me anymore.”

”Black and White Wuchang have taken her to the eighteenth level of Hell; she won’t be coming back up.” Sini lowered her voice and told Erya.

Sanni couldn’t help but roll her eyes, did these two think she couldn’t hear? But fine, she was actually quite happy too.

Yang Baihe, who also stopped walking, was in the same situation. Although this young woman was not young and was engaged, she hadn’t married into another family yet, so she was still a girl of the Yang Family and couldn’t visit the grave.

Sanni glanced sideways at Yang Baihe, then turned around, holding Sini with one hand and Erya with the other, and started walking back.

”Sanni, what do you mean by that?” Yang Baihe was already feeling uncomfortable, but at this moment, seeing herself ignored by the younger ones, she suddenly exploded.

Erya looked back at Yang Baihe, but Sanni and Sini didn’t even glance at her, acting as if they didn’t hear anything.

”Stop right there.” Yang Baihe quickly ran a couple of steps to block their way.

But Yang He stepped forward to block Yang Baihe: ”Step back, stay away from my young miss.”

Yang He, who was previously known as Yingchun, had mostly recovered from her disfigured face. Although her skills might be slightly lacking compared to experts like Du Juan and Gu Qiao, she was more than capable of handling ordinary people, especially cowards like Yang Baihe.

Yang Baihe was so frightened that she took two steps back, but she accidentally stepped on a stone and fell to the ground.

”Idiot.” Sanni gave Yang Baihe a scornful look and then led her sisters away.

”You...”

Sini turned around and made a face at Yang Baihe.

Yang He glanced at Yang Baihe and then turned to follow the girls.

Yang Baihe angrily slapped the ground, then got up and vigorously dusted off the dirt on her pants.

At this moment, someone walked over: ”Baihe, don’t be upset.”

Yang Baihe looked up, glanced at Ma Laiwang in front of her, and turned to leave.

”Baihe.” Ma Laiwang hurriedly chased after her.

”What do you want?” Yang Baihe stopped impatiently, ”My mother is dead, I have to mourn, for at least a year, our engagement is off.” She didn’t want to marry this country bumpkin; she believed she was destined for wealth and wanted to be a young mistress.
