The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 1306: Chapter 1306: Analyzing the Case (6)

Yang Ruxin’s lips twitched, ”Conan? Do you think you’re smart enough?”

”Are you underestimating me?” Yu Qingge rolled her eyes, ”Even if I’m not as smart, in our past life we’ve read a lot of mystery detective novels, right? Di Renjie, Sherlock Holmes, Conan... I’m pretty familiar with how cases are cracked...”

”Alright, since we’re free, just go ahead and talk,” Yang Ruxin hastily nodded.

”First of all, we need to find the murderer’s motive. If they poisoned Aunt Show, they definitely wanted to stop her from going back.” Yu Qingge stroked her chin, pacing back and forth in the room, ”Why stop Aunt Show from returning? Her return must have gotten in the way of someone’s interests...”

”That makes sense.” Yang Ruxin nodded.

”But whose interests could be harmed?” Yu Qingge sat down opposite Yang Ruxin, ”The most suspicious is your uncle. Think about it, he was the only son in the family, but now that his sister has returned, some of the Dong Family’s wealth will surely have to be shared. So, he’s the most likely suspect...”

Yang Ruxin continued to nod slightly.

”However, if he really didn’t want Aunt Show to return, then he simply wouldn’t have acknowledged you from the beginning. There’s no need to acknowledge you and then commit murder, so his suspicion is eliminated.” Yu Qingge’s eyes widened, ”But his wife, your aunt, whether she would be happy about her sister-in-law’s return is questionable. So, your aunt is the prime suspect...”

”Who’s the second suspect?”

”Of course, your scumbag dad. Do I even need to say why? He’s the scummiest of scum...”

Yang Ruxin laughed, ”Looks like those detective novels you read weren’t for nothing.”

”Exactly, now tell me, am I analyzing this correctly?”

”I don’t know.” Yang Ruxin spread her hands, ”As long as the murderer isn’t found, anyone could be possible. It’s all about evidence.”

Yu Qingge felt a bit deflated upon hearing this, ”That’s true.”

”But you did get one thing right, that Yang Baiyue is indeed the scummiest of scum, and he definitely wouldn’t want to see my mother return. As for whether he would poison someone, that we’ll have to investigate to find out...”

”But how can we investigate?”

”Of course by finding the person who poisoned her.” Yang Ruxin smiled, ”That person didn’t succeed, so there will definitely be a next time, especially since we still have more than ten days left in our trip...”

”Right.” Yu Qingge’s eyes lit up, then she clasped her hands together, ”Let’s immediately go find the poisoner...”

”You,” Yang Ruxin lifted a finger at Yu Qingge, ”don’t do anything, don’t alert the suspect...”

”Okay, okay.” Yu Qingge waved her hands, ”I won’t do anything... Heihei, let’s see if you can pull it off?” Then she leaned in closer, ”So when are you planning to make your move?”

”When the other side makes theirs.” Yang Ruxin patted Yu Qingge on the head and stood up to leave.

Yu Qingge looked up, rubbed her forehead, and hurriedly followed out. She had decided to stick close to Ruxin these next few days and see how she was going to catch someone.

What Yang Ruxin headed to was the Ling Family’s room.

”Great cousin.” Ling was doing needlework. Seeing Yang Ruxin enter, she promptly got up.

”Lady Ling, I came to have a chat with you...” Yang Ruxin smiled, ”After all, this is our first time back at the Dong Family. I am free and was wondering if you could give me a detailed introduction to the people of the Dong Family, including the clan members, relatives, and servants...”
