The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 638: Chapter 638: The Eldest Grandson of the Yang Family (6)_1

Lin Yue’e opened the courtyard door and saw a scrawny little maid. She involuntarily smirked, ”Little Huahua, what brings you here?” As she spoke, her mouth stretched too wide, pulling at the corner of her injured mouth, causing her to gasp sharply in pain.

”Auntie, it’s Sister Treasure Bead who’s had an accident...”

”What happened?” Lin Yue’e hadn’t even had a chance to respond when Wang Wen rushed over, ”What’s wrong with my sis?”

At first glance, it seemed like this big brother was particularly worried about his little sister, but in reality, Wang Wen thought his sister was good-looking and would bring a nice dowry in the future. Hence, he paid extra attention to her.

Xiaohua was startled and hastily stepped back two paces: ”She...”

”Spit it out!” Wang Wen glared, looking as if he was about to hit someone.

”By the foot of the hill over there, it seems... it seems like she twisted her ankle...” Xiaohua finally managed to finish speaking, then turned and ran away.

Wang Wen wanted to ask more, but seeing that she had already turned the corner and was out of the alley, he couldn’t be bothered with anything else and turned to sprint toward the foot of the mountain.

It was only when Zheng Xiaohua had run a long way that she stopped, looked back to make sure nobody was following her, and finally let out a sigh of relief. But she was torn, should she tell Sister Ruxin what she had just heard?

In truth, Zheng Xiaohua didn’t know Yang Ruxin very well, but Sanni had helped her. Just a few days ago, her father had hit her and her head was bleeding. She fainted while gathering firewood, and it was Sanni who revived her. Later, Sanni would call her out secretly to give her food—it was the first time she had tasted sugar and egg cakes.

She remembered this kindness.

Moreover, she admired Yang Ruxin immensely. Being a girl herself, she was amazed by all Ruxin had done—things she couldn’t even dare to think of.

But now, the Wang Family was scheming against Sister Ruxin. What should she do?

After much deliberation, Zheng Xiaohua made up her mind and ran towards the back of the village.

Meanwhile, Wang Wen had found Wang Baozhu, who was crying so hard she could hardly catch her breath. He frowned instantly, ”What’s the matter?”

”Big brother, you have to stand up for me...” Wang Baozhu threw herself into Wang Wen’s arms and wept, ”I... I can’t face anyone anymore...”

”Treasure Bead, what in the world happened?” Lin Yue’e hurried over and knew that something was amiss just by looking at her daughter’s state, ”Who did this?”

”It’s...,” Wang Baozhu wiped away a tear, ”I dare not say...”

”What’s there to fear? In broad daylight, if someone dares to do such a thing, is there no justice left?” Lin Yue’e was furious.

”It’s... it’s the Yang Family’s eldest grandson...” Wang Baozhu glanced at her family’s expressions, then covered her face and continued to cry.

”Who?” Wang Sheng blinked, seemingly not quite understanding.

”Yang Rusong. Today I accidentally twisted my ankle, and when I saw him passing by, I asked for help. But then...” Wang Baozhu sobbed and hiccupped, ”He turned out to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing, started tearing at my clothes when he saw me. I yelled, but there was no one around, and he dragged me here... Dad, mom, I... I can’t live with this...”

”Yang Rusong?” Lin Yue’e’s expression grew strange, but she quickly smiled, ”If he took advantage of my daughter, then he must take responsibility... Don’t worry, your parents will see justice done for you...” Saying this, she motioned with her hand, ”Let’s go to the Yang Family.”

Wang Wen and Wang Wu’s expressions, however, turned somewhat peculiar.

”Did you really sleep with Yang Rusong?” On the way to the Yang Family, Wang Wen stealthily asked Wang Baozhu.
