The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 621: Chapter 621: Shut Up (5)_1

The people around suddenly fell silent. Everyone had seen Fang Tianze as a handsome youth, but only now did they realize that even though the young man might be frail and beautiful, he was an official’s son. If he really showed his authority, it would be quite frightening, especially since his father had control over the life and death of these commoners.

They couldn’t help but feel a hint of reverence.

”No...” Before the people on this side could react, someone urgently shouted from the other side and ran over, ”This has nothing to do with me.” It was Yang Rusong, ”You can’t ruin my future just because of them, can you?”

Fang Tianze looked at Yang Ruxin and smiled faintly, ”As the eldest grandson in the family, shouldn’t you bear all the family’s responsibilities? Yet, you’re content with enjoying the fruits of others’ labors without contributing anything. Can you really live up to the title of scholar? People say to cultivate oneself, bring order to the family, govern the country, and bring peace to the world. Which of these have you achieved? A ’scholar’ who can’t even distinguish right from wrong, you still have the audacity to call yourself a scholar, pah!”

Yang Ruxin could not help but show an expression of pleasant surprise. Despite his young age, this kid understood things clearly and was bound to become a talent in the future.

Yang Rusong was left speechless and turned pale. After stumbling a few steps, he looked towards Yang Peili and Yang Anshi, ”Are you really looking out for my best interest? Can’t you stop making a fuss? Now, are you satisfied? To be honest, I truly... I really wish I hadn’t been born into this family...” After saying that, he turned and walked away, but after only a few steps, he suddenly collapsed to the ground with a thump.

”My son...” Feng Caie had returned with her son and now didn’t care about hiding anymore; she hurried over, ”My son...”

”I’m fine...” Yang Rusong shook his head, trying to get up on his own, but his legs were too weak to manage it.

”Dani, I beg you, please speak on our behalf.” Yang Peili suddenly knelt down towards Yang Ruxin, ”This old man is on his knees before you... Whatever the mistake, it’s my fault; don’t let Rusong’s future be destroyed...”

Yang Ruxin hurriedly dodged, ”Elder Yang of the Yang Family, are you trying to kill me with grief? You shouldn’t be begging me; you should be begging your son and daughter-in-law to stop making a scene...”

”I...” Yang Peili sighed, then turned to his third uncle and fourth great-uncle, ”Elders, I’m begging you, please put in a good word for Rusong. It hasn’t been easy for the child... I will discipline the family members...”

The third uncle and the fourth great-uncle couldn’t help but sigh. After exchanging a glance, they both saw the helplessness in each other’s eyes but felt they couldn’t just ignore the situation. They then turned to Yang Ruxin, ”Xinxin...”

”Elders, I’m willing to plead for Yang Rusong, but Yang Baichuan must come over and apologize to my mother by kowtowing.” Yang Ruxin smiled, ”If he is sincere, I might consider showing some mercy...”

”You...” Yang Anshi wanted to say ’don’t even think about it’, but before she could speak, she was silenced by a slap from Yang Peili.

”Shut up.” At this moment, Yang Peili really showed no mercy with his strike.

”Alright, I’ll have Yang Baichuan come and make amends.” Feng Caie nodded, ”Yuyu, go call your father... Tell him if he doesn’t come, I’ll take you with me and sever ties with him as well...”

Yang Baichuan had actually been following behind and heard everything. Originally, he wanted to run, but Feng Caie’s words made him stop in his tracks. After a moment’s thought, making amends was definitely better than being arrested. He then really started walking over.
