The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 613: Chapter 613: Becoming Friends (7)_1

”Not only do you need to learn from him, but you also need to learn from me. He’ll teach you the Four Books and Five Classics, and I’ll teach you some things he doesn’t even know,” Yang Ruxin smiled.

”Yeah,” Fang Tianze’s eyes sparkled, ”I definitely won’t let Sister Ruxin down...”

Guan Qingheng suddenly turned around, ”Guan Qingshu, the buffet Ruxin arranged today was really nice...”

Only then did Yang Ruxin realize that Guan Qingshu was still standing there, and she felt a surge of irritation: ”Look here, Scholar Guan, if you want to eat, hurry up and sit down to eat; if you don’t want to, then scram. Who are you bothering just standing there?”

”I...” Guan Qingshu was at a loss for words, wanting to leave but reluctant to do so. He envied the way Yang Ruxin interacted with the people around her. Just looking at Fang Tianze’s smile, you could tell it was a truly easy and enjoyable feeling, yet staying put made him feel awkward.

”Guan Qingshu, Dani liked you before because you were outstanding,” Gu Qingheng chuckled, ”Now, Ruxin doesn’t like you anymore, and that’s because you missed the chance, but it doesn’t mean you aren’t outstanding. You are still a smart person, and smart people shouldn’t do foolish things.”

”I...”

”Go sit down. The meat really smells amazing,” Gu Qingheng gestured, ”The choice to be friends or enemies, to live in peace or to be beaten up every time, is yours to make.”

A twitch pulled at the corner of Yang Ruxin’s mouth. When had she ever beaten someone up every time afterward?

A twitch also pulled at the corner of Guan Qingshu’s mouth. This man’s words really... begged for a slap. But instead, he found this style of talking quite comfortable and smiled, ”I want to be friends with you... with all of you.” He glanced at Yang Ruxin as he finished speaking. Before, he was foolish to miss out on a girl like her, but if they became friends and saw more of each other, perhaps she would come to see his good qualities. Maybe then she might start to like him again?

”Young Master...” At that moment, Liuyun ran over with a bowl in hand, ”This meat is so delicious. You better hurry and eat some before it’s all gone...” Now even this little guy had firmly become a foodie; the last time Liu Guang came over with gifts to trade, wanting him to return to Fang Residence, this kid adamantly refused to go back, making Liu Guang so angry he kicked him twice before leaving.

”You should eat less; I won’t give you any Medicine Pill for indigestion if you overeat,” Yang Ruxin frowned. This kid’s only fault was that he wasn’t satisfied until he had overeaten.

”I’ll just eat two more pieces,” Liuyun said as he dashed off, clearly fearing Yang Ruxin wouldn’t let him eat anymore.

Fang Tianze looked up at the white clouds in the sky, speechless. How could his own servant be so embarrassing?

”Qingshu...” At this time, the third uncle ancestor came over, followed by the fourth great-uncle, both of their faces flushed with a healthy glow, obviously having enjoyed meat and wine, ”Your brilliance really makes our village proud...”

”Yeah, and Rusong did well, too; he also passed the exams. Our village producing two Scholars at once is quite a delightful tale,” the fourth great-uncle also said, much pleased.

”The elders flatter me,” Guan Qingshu, now with a changed mindset, naturally responded with respect, ”I still need to work hard.”

”Good, good...” The third uncle ancestor laughed heartily and then glanced at Yang Ruxin, ”Ruxin, you and Qingshu come from the same village; you should support and help each other.”

”Of course,” Yang Ruxin nodded. She knew the third uncle ancestor also believed Guan Qingshu had a good nature, seeing as he suggested they help each other but didn’t mention Yang Rusong. That meant he wasn’t very impressed with Yang Rusong, ”In the future, when I go out and say I am from the same village as the great Scholar Guan, will it not reflect well on me as well?”
