The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 637: Chapter 637: Not Living with You Anymore (5)_1

Lin Yue’e’s recent days were unbearable. Ever since Wang Sheng was blinded in one eye, not only did he not restrain himself, but his temper reverted to its former explosiveness, even intensifying. At the slightest disagreement, he would start hitting and sometimes during physical exertion on the kang, one uncomfortable move from her could result in Lin Yue’e being kicked off.

Lin Yue’e had thought about resisting, but all it brought her was an even more brutal beating.

So, in the end, she could only submit humbly, even to the point where her own sons and daughters could point fingers and berate her.

Today, the village’s furniture workshop was completed, and a banquet was held with big pots of stewed meat. However, Yang Ruxin gave a clear order not to entertain anyone from Wang Sheng’s family.

This infuriated Wang Sheng, who beat up Lin Yue’e again.

”Wang Sheng, why do you always hit me? I’m your wife,” Lin Yue’e finally exploded. ”Is it my fault you got mutilated messing around outside? Now, when I take care of you, eating and drinking, is that wrong too?”

”You dare talk back?” Wang Sheng’s face was dark and ominous.

”How dare I not?” Lin Yue’e wiped the corner of her eye and drew a sharp breath, ”I bore your children, I’ve followed you without a single day of happiness. If you dare to hit me again, Wang, I’ll...”

”You’ll do what?”

”I’ll fight for my life!” Lin Yue’e yelled, ”I won’t stay with you anymore...”

Wang Sheng shuddered for a moment. It was the first time he had seen Lin Yue’e like this; her gaze was truly venomous.

”Hey, what are you two arguing about?” At that moment, Wang Wen walked out from the house, clearly having been asleep. ”Dad, not to insult you, but you’ve even managed to ruin yourself trying to sleep with a woman. That’s pretty incompetent.” He paused. ”You’ve made it so I don’t even have a wife to speak of now. If you really drive her away, who will cook and wash clothes for us? Can you do it?” Wang Wen curled his lip. ”Or are you going to get that Widow Lü to come?”

Wang Sheng instantly looked defeated.

”I want to marry Tong Lingling,” Wang Wu also came out, ”you all have to figure out a way for me to sleep with her.”

”Which Tong Lingling?” Lin Yue’e’s eyes lit up, pleased that her son had a romantic interest.

”The one who’s Guan Qingshu’s cousin, the girl from the town’s grocery store,” Wang Wu looked at Lin Yue’e, ”she’s plump; I fancy her. Find a way to let me sleep with her, and you’ll have a daughter-in-law...”

”Good for you, my son has taste,” Lin Yue’e was delighted, ”I’ll definitely help you.” Then she looked at Wang Wen, ”What about you? Don’t you have someone you like?”

Wang Wen lowered his head and kicked a clod of dirt on the ground, ”I’ve got my eye on Yang Dani, but that girl...” He had previously fancied Widow Lü, but after a visit, he was so horrified by her condition that he instantly lost interest. Thus, he began looking for another target and, after comparisons, found that Yang Ruxin was actually the most outstanding, capable of earning money.

Lin Yue’e’s lips twitched in response, ”That Yang Dani...” She had her own reservations about Yang Ruxin, to let her become her son’s wife? The mere thought made her shudder.

”That’s fine,” Wang Sheng sneered coldly, ”as long as you can sleep with her, then you’ll have silver to spend afterward...”

Wang Wen just chuckled, ”Heihei.”

Standing at the entrance of the yard, Zheng Xiaohua, who had been sent by his father to deliver a message, shuddered for quite a while before calming down. When the yard fell silent, he finally spoke up, ”Is auntie at home?”
