The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 633: Chapter 633: Help Me (1)_1

”Why don’t you treat him then?” With her keen ears, Yang Ruxin overheard Feng Caie’s mutterings and couldn’t help looking over, ”I’ll send him to Hechun Hall in a bit, you follow along...”

”I was just speaking off the cuff.” Feng Caie hurriedly managed a forced smile, ”Pretend I just let out a fart.” After saying this, she dragged Yang Baichuan and turned to enter her own room, no longer making a sound. What a joke, if she went, it would probably cost even more.

Although Feng Caie was a bit mercenary and malicious, she admittedly had brains.

Moreover, today a single word from them could protect her son’s scholarly status, which was a matter of great importance; she’d have to be foolish to offend this girl now.

Yang Ruxin’s lips curled into a cold sneer.

”Is this a threat to us? This...” Yang Anshi was displeased but got interrupted after only a sentence or two.

Yang Peili directly raised his hand and slapped her, ”Get inside.”

Yang Anshi glared hatefully at Yang Ruxin before entering the house.

Yang Ruxin’s mouth twitched. In the past, Yang Peili would never raise his voice to Yang Anshi, but now, he didn’t hesitate to hit her. Really... was he getting addicted to beating his wife? However, Yang Anshi did deserve it, so turning around, Yang Ruxin went to Yang Baixiang’s room to find him a piece of joyful clothing, but then...

Yang Ruxin sighed looking at the cabinet by the bed, the few pieces of clothes inside were completely unwearable, not to mention the cotton-padded clothes, which were so tattered that nobody would pick them up even if thrown in the street. No wonder Uncle Xiaowu was still wearing summer clothes even though the weather had turned cold.

She decisively gathered all of Uncle Xiaowu’s clothes and threw them into the yard, then glanced at Yang Peili who was standing by the room’s doorway looking out and snorted coldly. Yang Ruxin turned and walked away.

Yang Peili’s face flushed with embarrassment, and he hurriedly turned and went inside. That old hag truly needed to be put in her place.

But as Yang Ruxin reached the entrance of the courtyard, she nearly collided with Yang Rusong who was rushing in hurriedly. Fortunately, she agilely avoided him, but seeing Yang Rusong’s sweaty and dishevelled state, she frowned and decided not to bother with him.

”Cousin...” Yang Rusong suddenly grabbed her arm, ”Help me...”

”Let go,” said Yang Ruxin, her expression darkening, ”Speak properly if you have something to say.”

Yang Rusong really did have a sharp mind. He didn’t believe that Wang Baozhu would let things rest and even suspected she would stir up more trouble. Upon seeing Yang Ruxin, he clung to her as if she was his anchor. Seeing her stern face did not loosen his grip, ”Big cousin, I know I was wrong, and I’ll change if you teach me. But right now, I need you to save me, otherwise...”

”What is it?” Yang Ruxin raised her eyebrows slightly.

Yang Rusong glanced at the inside of the house, then pulled Yang Ruxin out of the courtyard to a secluded spot where he finally stopped and recounted the recent events to her. He then looked at her expectantly, ”Sis, you’re the only one who can help me.”

Yang Ruxin scoffed, slapping his hand off her arm, ”You must be kidding, right? Scholar Yang, we’ve got no relationship, and you have your own parents. Why should I intervene?” She said this and then started to leave.

Yang Rusong once again blocked her path.

Yang Ruxin threw him over her shoulder again, but for some reason, the boy nearly went out of breath from the fall. However, he instantly got up and clung to one of Yang Ruxin’s legs.
