The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 240: Chapter 240: Bad Woman (One More)_1

Yang Ruxin didn’t bother with the woman at all. She had already confirmed that the woman was lying. She then turned to the little boy, ”Is this really your mother?”

The little boy didn’t expect Yang Ruxin to ask him. He looked up after a glance and then lowered his head, but soon he looked up at Yang Ruxin again and shouted loudly, ”She is my mother.”

A triumphant expression appeared on the woman’s face at once.

”Are you sure the bruises on his body were made by my pinching?” As soon as Yang Ruxin saw the little boy’s expression, she became even more certain of her previous conjecture and immediately looked up at the woman.

”If not you, who else?” The woman put her hands on her hips, ”Wasn’t it you grabbing onto my son just now? So many people saw it. I don’t care, pay up, or else I’ll report it to the authorities...”

”That’s right, the child just bumped into you, and you abused him. How could you be so heartless?” The man with a sharp chin and monkey cheeks hurriedly chimed in.

”Sister, quickly apologize and make amends, give them some silver to settle it...” The man who had previously wanted to take advantage said with a smile, ”If you don’t have enough silver, your brother can help you out a bit...”

At this moment, there were also passersby who, after hearing these words, cast disdainful looks at Yang Ruxin, especially given her ragged appearance, which naturally categorized her as a bad person in their eyes.

Gu Yao had already come over by then, but he didn’t approach, instead watching from a distance. After all, the task his big brother gave him was just one: to make sure big brother’s Ruxin didn’t get hurt, as for the rest, it didn’t matter.

”Going to the authorities sounds good.” Yang Ruxin wasn’t scared at all. On the contrary, she gave the man a sidelong glance and revealed a mocking smile, ”The Governor’s Office should have a Military Doctor or a coroner, right? They can examine when the child’s injuries appeared, and also compare the handprint to see if it was made by my hand. Of course, they can also have the noble Governor do a blood test or something to see whether this child is really your biological son...”

”You...” The woman immediately felt guilty and subconsciously glanced at the burly man.

The man glared at the child who suddenly jumped up, charged at Yang Ruxin, and hit her stomach, ”You are a bad person... you’re bullying me... you’re a bad person...”

Yang Ruxin staggered from the impact but quickly steadied herself, then grabbed the other party and pinned him down, looking down at the little one, ”Believe it or not, I’ll hit you?”

The little boy, unseen by the people behind him, whispered to Yang Ruxin, ”Run,” then suddenly started wailing again, shouting, ”You’re a bad person... bad woman...” while pushing Yang Ruxin.

Yang Ruxin was surprised and didn’t struggle as she was pushed several steps in a direction away from those people.

Instantly understanding the child’s intention, she was somewhat moved; this child was obviously still kind. Of course, she did not rule out that it could be a trap, after all... the tricks of swindlers are usually never-ending, and she would not be utterly fooled just by that.

”You stole my silver, and today I’m going to take you to see the authorities.” Yang Ruxin grabbed the little one’s arm and didn’t let go, and also bent down to pick up her purse, ”There are your fingerprints on my purse, it will all be clear after they are compared...”
