The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 207: Chapter 207: Must Spend Frugally (Three More)_1

”That was all thanks to Second Brother Gu.” Sanni said with a cheerful smile, ”Then let’s cook something delicious and invite him to eat with us.”

”No problem, but we must hide our silver well, as wealth should not be flaunted. In case someone finds out and covets it, that could be troublesome,” Yang Ruxin took the opportunity to caution the younger ones.

The younger ones exchanged glances, then collectively nodded their heads.

”And what will you do if someone asks how much money you got?” Yang Ruxin raised an eyebrow and asked everyone.

”We’ll just say it’s not much,” Sanni pouted, ”But really, there are a few people in the village who always love to pry into others’ affairs, and then gossip wildly...”

”Let them ask all they want, you just need to say you don’t know,” Yang Ruxin laughed, ”Just say that your elder sister is in charge, and they can come ask me...”

”But what if they make things difficult for you?” Sanni frowned.

”Your elder sister can handle it. Only those not afraid of death would come looking for trouble with me...” The corner of Yang Ruxin’s mouth curved slightly upwards, she was not Yang Dani, weak and helpless was not her style.

Sanni immediately laughed, she liked her elder sister’s assertive manner.

”So this is what an Ingot looks like.” Yang Rufeng had been silent all along, carefully caressing the Ingot in his embrace, and finally couldn’t help but mutter softly, ”So beautiful...”

Yang Ruxin couldn’t help but laugh, her little brother was really cute.

Yang Rufeng heard his elder sister’s laughter, and immediately felt embarrassed, ”Elder sister, I...”

”Ingots are very beautiful, indeed, but in the future, our family will have more and more of them,” Yang Ruxin patted her brother’s head, ”One day, I’ll make you count money until your hands cramp... So for now, you can be surprised and amazed, but later on, you have to learn to remain calm, got it?”

Sanni opened her mouth to retort, but in the end, she didn’t voice the sarcastic words, because it seemed like elder sister could really make happen whatever she talked about. What kind of situation would it be to count money until your hands cramped? She unexpectedly began to look forward to it.

”Now that we have money, I declare that today, we’re all going to town, and our main mission is to shop...” Yang Ruxin rolled off the kang, thinking of everything the house lacked, she couldn’t lie still.

”Elder sister,” Sanni said upon hearing this, and quickly snatched the Ingots from the others, then hugged them close to her chest, ”Even if we have silver now, we can’t just start shopping recklessly... Wait, where’s the silver?”

Yang Ruxin blinked, ”What’s up?” and took out the silver notes to place them on the kang.

”You said it yourself: ’Wealth should not be flaunted,’” Sanni shot Yang Ruxin a look, ”Mother is still unconscious, we don’t know when she will wake up, so we must spend carefully.”

A twitch appeared at the corner of Yang Ruxin’s mouth. It was one thing for this girl to be stingy when they had no money, but to think she’d remain stingy even after getting some!

”Moreover,” Sanni continued reasoning with everyone, ”we might come across a Black Bear once, but it’s not certain we can encounter one a second time, and even if we did, we might not be able to kill it again, right? We need to take care of ourselves first. Mother needs to buy medicine, the Doctor said so, didn’t he? Mother will need three to five taels of silver every month, so we really have to save and spend frugally...”

The others seemed to agree with Sanni’s words, all nodding their heads in unison.
