The Fierce Farm Girl Has A Secret Space

Chapter 239: Chapter 239: My Son (Three More)_1

”I see, you’re eyeing the children to steal...” Another man with a sharp chin and monkey-like cheeks nodded hurriedly, ”Never thought someone so young could be a ’flower picker’...”

”Exactly, send to the officials...” The others also began to shout and then moved closer towards Yang Ruxin. A few of them even revealed a lecherous gleam when they clearly saw Yang Ruxin’s face.

Yang Ruxin swept a glance at the several men opposite her, felt a twinge of disgust flash through her heart, and suddenly chuckled, ”Turns out you’re all in it together, huh? A bunch of grown men directing a child to steal, where are your faces?”

The men froze for a moment, not expecting the young girl to be completely unflustered. No matter what though, they couldn’t return empty-handed since they had a target on the hook. One burly man stepped forward to grab Yang Ruxin’s shoulder, ”We just can’t stand you bullying the child, so young and you still lay your hands on them?” Even if it was all clear to them, they could just deny everything, ”Come on, tell brother, what’s your name?”

Yang Ruxin stepped back to dodge the man’s grubby hand.

The man frowned slightly, just about to continue moving forward when the tall man beside him glared at him. They were here for money, not trouble, so the man sheepishly withdrew his hand.

On hearing this, the child very cooperatively rolled up his sleeves, revealing a patch of bruising on his arm.

Yang Ruxin’s eyes involuntarily contracted. Ever since she took several youngsters under her wing for protection, she couldn’t bear to see children suffer. The little guy was only about five or six years old, and the bruises on his arms were obviously from being pinched. Who could be so cruel?

Just then, a woman rushed over crying, hugging the child in an embrace, ”Baobao, oh my baby... What happened to you? Who’s the heartless one that bullied my child? He’s still so young...”

The child trembled imperceptibly, instinctively trying to push the woman away, but she was far too strong and pinched him where others couldn’t see, forcing the child to let her hold him.

The faint movements of the pair did not escape Yang Ruxin’s notice.

In fact, such gang theft schemes were quite common in modern times; every year the police caught many child traffickers. However, she wasn’t yet certain that this child had also been abducted by these people, so she waited silently for their next move without a word.

The men were somewhat astonished. They had used this trick many times in various places. Although it was their first time here, they had always been able to extort some Silver, but the people they cornered were either anxious and hopping mad or fearful and frightened. Yet this girl, she wasn’t afraid despite being surrounded by so many; why did she look like she was enjoying the show?

The woman cried and wailed for a long time without eliciting any reaction from Yang Ruxin, and finally could wail no more; she suddenly jumped up, ”You hurt my son, pay up!”

Yang Ruxin laughed. See, there it was, the true motive finally revealed. She then stepped forward, focusing intently on the woman, ”Do you dare swear that this child is your son?”

The woman’s gaze flickered for a moment, but she quickly nodded, ”Of course, he’s my son, who else would he be? I’m telling you, you won’t get away with bullying my son.”
