”Italian espresso, meant to sober you up.”

Ramos pointed at the food cart and said, ”Since you’ve been drinking, I thought you’d not want anything too greasy, so I got cod and some soft bread for the main course, and borscht for soup, which is tangy and spicy to whet your appetite.”

”Sergio, you’re practically Albert II.”

Huang Kaiwen sincerely remarked. Earlier he wasn’t feeling hungry, but seeing what Ramos prepared, he immediately felt famished.

As Huang Kaiwen was about to dig in, he asked, ”By the way, lunch was delivered by cart, why did you need to leave the room?”

”I forgot.”

Ramos sheepishly scratched the back of his head.

Huang Kaiwen smiled and shook his head.

Good buddy doesn’t have as good a memory as the old housekeeper.

He thoroughly enjoyed this meal.

Not because the food was particularly delicious.

But after eating, he broke out in a sweat, his headache subsided, and he no longer felt the hangover both inside and out.

This put Huang Kaiwen in a great mood.

Drinking with Pele yesterday was a bit too much.

Huang Kaiwen suddenly asked, ”Where’s Pele, is he okay?”

”He’s fine, just had some champagne and went to the casino this morning.”

Ramos replied.

Huang Kaiwen finally felt relieved.

At four in the afternoon, the entire Milan team boarded the return flight.

Most of the players weren’t in great spirits.

Van Persie was overjoyed, and it rubbed off, getting the whole Milan team hyped.

A genius.

An absolute genius.

Seeing his national teammates win championships one after another, it was understandable for Van Persie’s behavior after holding back for so many years.

If he couldn’t win a championship again, Huang Kaiwen suspected he might become the root of internal discord in the Netherlands.

Especially since, when drunk, he said, ”Even De Jong managed to get the UEFA Champions League, that dog Huntelaar...”

Van Persie nearly listed the entire national squad.

The whole team returned to Milan City, and the fans remained extremely enthusiastic.

But even Huang Kaiwen wasn’t in any mood to deal with the fans.

Seeing the tired faces of the players, the fans voluntarily cleared the way.

December 20th.

Milan played their last match of the year.

They drew 2:2 with the opponents, wrapping up 2011.

December 23rd.

At Kevin’s house.

Ramos and Kaka were sitting on either side of Huang Kaiwen.

Making Messi and Antonella feel a bit restrained.

”Leo, how do you like the house?”

Huang Kaiwen asked.

”It’s great!”

Messi nodded vigorously.

He was obviously very satisfied.

Antonella had once visited Milan to check the location, and every step of the renovation was communicated with them by the AC Milan Club, which was prepared well in advance to make them feel at home.

Messi’s house wasn’t far from Kevin’s house, Kaka’s House, and Ramos’ house.

The location was excellent too.

This house was a gift from the AC Milan Club, as long as he played for Milan for five years.

Originally, Gagliani’s condition was to sign a contract and only transfer the house to Messi after five years.

Huang Kaiwen directly decided to give the house upfront, with the five-year agreement as a gentleman’s agreement.

Even if Messi didn’t honor the agreement, Milan wouldn’t have much recourse.

But Huang Kaiwen knew Messi’s character.

AC Milan giving him a house upfront, with a five-year promise not written into the contract, has a huge impact on someone like Messi, as emotions and bonds are the greatest constraints on Messi.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t be reluctant to leave Barca.

Barring any surprises, Messi would likely play in Milan until retirement.

Even though the number 19 Messi chose for his jersey wasn’t particularly special.

Huang Kaiwen felt that by the time he retired, 19 would become a special number too.

”Then stay in Milan for Christmas, they’re all staying, and some Milan players who don’t want to go home will come to my place for the holiday.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

Messi was about to speak when Antonella pulled him back.

Huang Kaiwen pretended not to see their little interaction.

Seizing the opportunity during Christmas to deepen ties with the King of football.

When the team becomes stronger, the Yellow Ball King can return to the stands.

In recent years, playing more and more matches wasn’t a good thing for Huang Kaiwen.

Antonella smiled and said, ”We’ve been wanting to decorate our new home, but will it be a problem if we get photographed now?”

”If you don’t want early exposure, the news definitely won’t leak!”

Huang Kaiwen replied.

In Milan, this kind of thing can certainly be done.

”No need to bother.”

Messi quickly waved his hand and said, ”We’ll have to face it sooner or later anyway.”

Watching Huang Kaiwen and Rosell’s clash, he already envisioned a spy drama.

He didn’t want to cause more trouble for Huang Kaiwen now.

However, some of Rosell’s actions have been proven, which eased Messi’s guilt about leaving the team, otherwise, he’d always feel indebted to Barca, as it was Barca who paid for his treatment when he was most helpless.

”Alright, let’s have lunch together, Ricardo, why don’t you two get the barbecue ready.”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

Kaka and Ramos immediately got up to grab the grill, with movements brisker than at their own homes.

Messi said again, ”There’s no need to go to any trouble, I’ll eat anything.”

”Before you came, we had been eating Argentine barbecue for a long time!”

Ramos said.

”Sergio’s cooking is so good he could make a fortune with a restaurant!”

Huang Kaiwen added.

Messi said no more.

”Do you like to drink cola?”

Huang Kaiwen asked.

He remembered Messi used to like it, though he later quit.

”Yes.” Messi nodded and said, ”Kevin, aren’t you a Pepsi spokesperson?”

”But I don’t drink that stuff regularly. If you feel it’s impacting your performance, I suggest staying away from carbonated drinks too.” Huang Kaiwen said.
