After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 2010: Chapter 525: Huang Kai’s Debut and Tactical Revolution

Cesare Maldini paused for a moment and said, ”I see a lot in this, bold and advanced ideas. At least your coaching ability is much better than I thought. I don’t know if it will succeed, because your tactics are filled with demands on the individual abilities of the players, but I think it’s worth a try.”

”Hearing you say that, I feel relieved.”

Huang Kaiwen said, ”Do you have any suggestions for the front field combination?”

”You’ve written a lot about the characteristics of the players, and I’m not as familiar with them as you are. Why don’t we pick the right people during training?”

Old Maldini said.

”Okay, let’s do that!”

Huang Kaiwen got up and reminded, ”Don’t get too focused, there’s an early meeting for everyone this morning.”

”Don’t worry, I’m not your average Italian!”

Old Maldini said with a wink.

He joked about the time management of his Italian compatriots.

Huang Kaiwen wasn’t fully recovered yet, but he still went to the locker room to change clothes.

When you’re at a training base like this, you have to wear the appropriate gear.

While changing clothes, Rakitic saw Huang Kaiwen and said, ”Morning, Kevin, can you join training now?”

”Not yet, but I can do some light activity.”

Huang Kaiwen nodded and said.

Watching Huang Kaiwen change clothes, Rakitic simply waited by the side.

”I’m planning to visit the youth team, you go ahead to training, Ivan.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

”Alright!”

Only then did Rakitic get up and leave.

After changing clothes, Huang Kaiwen headed to the youth team’s training ground.

Because of Clemente, Hazard had become a full member of the youth team, even training there.

Filippo Galli, in training gear, saw Huang Kaiwen and exaggeratedly stretched out his arms and shouted, ”Look who I see, the king of football is actually here at the youth team.”

Huang Kaiwen cooperatively looked around and intentionally asked, ”Pele or Maradona, why don’t I see them?”

”If we don’t consider national team achievements, the two of them together wouldn’t compare to you!”

Filippo Galli said.

”If someone else hears this, you’ll be in trouble.”

Huang Kaiwen gave Galli a playful punch.

He was quite familiar with this Milan legend, who came from the Florence youth team.

”Are you here to see him?”

Galli nodded towards the training field.

The youth team trained less than the first team; at this time, Hazard was the only one on the field.

”Yes, he’s a genius, right.”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

”If it weren’t for you, I think he has a chance to win the Ballon d’Or. Not many times, but certainly one exceptional season would give him the opportunity!”

Filippo Galli said.

Milan’s youth academy had become excellent over the years.

But Hazard’s skills still stood out conspicuously, and Galli often marveled at Hazard’s dribbling rhythm.

”Yeah, I think so too.”

Huang Kaiwen said.

Kenjiro Sato was just like that.

Very close to the Ballon d’Or.

But even without the Yellow Ball King, it wouldn’t be easy to break those two’s monopoly on the accolade.

”I have something to do, so I’m heading back to the office first.”

Filippo Galli said.

He could tell Huang Kaiwen had something to say to Hazard.

Huang Kaiwen waved his left arm to signal Galli to scram.

Galli took a few steps before turning back and shouting, ”Next time, big star, I’ll definitely steal a few good bottles of wine from your place.”

Huang Kaiwen shook his head, amused.

Maybe Inzaghi rubbed off on this guy when he was relegated.

”Kevin!”

Hazard jogged to the sideline, eagerly saying.

If Galli hadn’t been around, he would have greeted him earlier.

Huang Kaiwen’s presence made him curious.

”Eden, I’m here to inform you of your return to the first team.”

Huang Kaiwen directly said.

Hazard’s face immediately lit up with joy.

”Mr. Clemente’s approach had some issues, but I also think players should watch their diet.”

Huang Kaiwen said, ”Recently, the club already talked to many shops in Milan City to avoid selling you burgers and the like.”

Hazard’s face immediately fell.

Huang Kaiwen sat with Hazard by the goalpost, pointing at the first team’s training ground, and said, ”See, that old timer Gattuso is training.”

Hazard nodded.

”When he was young, he didn’t have talent like yours, but he wanted to play football, to change his destiny. He ran at the seaside every day, played football by the sea, and still ran up and down the stairs at home—using every possible way to train enough to earn a chance to play professional football. Even at his age, he’s still one of the earliest to the training ground.”

Huang Kaiwen said, ”I don’t want to use talented players who ruined themselves as examples, because you must know the stories of Adriano, Ronaldinho, Gascoigne, and even George Best. There are too many such examples in football. You must give something to get something. I assume you have seen Barbara’s interview, and I’ve put a lot of effort into this too. Is my talent less than yours or anybody else’s?”

”No...”

Hazard was about to explain, but Huang Kaiwen waved his hand and continued, ”Everyone has the right to choose their own life. Even if a professional player only plays for a few years, they can earn a lifetime’s wealth ordinary people can’t accumulate. As long as you’re a Milan player, the club will restrict your diet, no doubt about it. Eden, what kind of player you become is entirely your choice.”
