After signing with AC Milan, I will be the king of football!

Chapter 2005: Chapter 524: Undertaking Cut Short Midway

”It took the referee so long to decide on the red card...” he complained: ”The match shouldn’t become like this; it has nothing to do with football anymore. The referee had to make a decision, and I can only accept it. I see the positive side; even with only 10 players, we controlled the match and took some positive measures. Hazard? I don’t want to talk about him. I’ve set high standards for Milan, whether for the coaching staff, players, or others. When there is crossing the line, we must decisively enforce punishment.”

Later in the evening.

”90 Minutes” hosted by Giorgia Pamas invited Baggio, who has stayed away from football since his retirement.

Baggio has become a different person.

Pamas, former girlfriend of Inzaghi, asked: ”It’s been a long time, I’ve heard you live 15 kilometers outside your birthplace Caldonio in Vicentina, but few people see you.”

Baggio nodded and said: ”Yes, because I’m not someone who likes to take walks much. I need to be a good father; my daughter Valentina and eldest son Mattia are grown up and have many troubles, while my youngest son Leonardo also needs attention.”

Pamas asked: ”Why did you accept our invitation today, coming to the TV station for the show?”

Baggio, with a bitter smile, said: ”It’s because of Mattia; Mattia has always been a Milan fan and is not very satisfied with Milan’s recent performances. When he heard the TV station invited me, he immediately encouraged me to come on the show.”

Pamas continued to ask: ”What’s your opinion on Milan’s recent performances, does Clemente’s coaching fit Milan?”

Baggio didn’t answer immediately, organizing his words first: ”A new coach surely brings new tactics, and the players will feel unfamiliar. The beginning of the season without getting familiar with another set of tactics is challenging for any player. But this is not the reason for Milan losing to Naples; even though Kevin is injured, AC Milan’s starting lineup is enough to buy the entire Naples club, including their stadium!”

”So you think there are issues with Clemente’s coaching?”

Pamas pursued.

Baggio nodded and said: ”Yes, I watched that game, and AC Milan’s play made me feel very unfamiliar. Nesta had to commit fouls to disrupt the opponent’s attack, for which he received a red card. That surprised me a lot; Nesta’s career hasn’t seen many red cards, and if he had a better temper, he’d receive even fewer cards.”

Nesta’s career card incidents are mostly because of fights with opponents, rather than fouls while defending.

Baggio also shared some personal life stories.

Meanwhile, far in Madrid, Mourinho, during an interview with ”Marca,” disdainfully said: ”Clemente, who is he? I’ve never heard of a coach like him. Does he have any titles? The AC Milan lineup is there; in a match, they can even send van Persie and Torres while having Ibrahimovic as a substitute. No team in the world has a more luxurious forward line than AC Milan. Yet, he led AC Milan to lose against Naples. If AC Milan likes assistant coaches, I’d suggest Andre Villas-Boas, or my assistant Rui is also a good choice, certainly better than whatever Clemente.”

Due to media criticism.

Clemente appeared somewhat sensitive.

Many Milan players grumbled about the first team’s quite tense atmosphere.

The assistant coach, who mysteriously rose to position, even interferes with what cars they drive.

On September 25th, although Milan won 1-0 against Cesena, the victory did not come easily.

This made Clemente’s position even more unstable.

Outside Milanello, fans have already started organizing protests.

They couldn’t accept that the team needed a star’s killer move to win against a relegation-threatened team.

On September 29th, before the UEFA Champions League match against Villarreal.

Clemente told the media: ”Poor performance is just an issue of luck; the team’s tactics have no problems. In this match, we will proceed according to the original plan and goals.”

This match saw Milan play very aggressively.

The match contained many controversies.

Both sides scored a goal, and Ibrahimovic managed to touch the ball into the net between his legs during a fall.

Ultimately, both sides ended with a 4-4 draw at San Siro.

Crudeli straightforwardly shouted Clemente for dismissal during the live broadcast.

Huang Kaiwen received another call from Gagliani.

On September 30th.

Huang Kaiwen woke up to find Gagliani sitting in the living room.

”Morning, Adriano.”

Huang Kaiwen said with a smile.

”Morning, Kevin!”

Gagliani said: ”Not just the fans, we’re also facing pressure from sponsors.”

”Is there such a requirement in our contracts? Isn’t it enough to guarantee performance?”

Huang Kaiwen grumbled.

Fans’ protests are understandable, but sponsors should mind their own business and stay away.

”They’ve reacted to the media trend, hence the call. Fans are displeased and they claim it affects their ad impact. After all, at such times, fans aren’t in the mood to buy their stuff.”

Gagliani explained with a smile.

”Ignore them. Have you communicated with Cesare?”

Huang Kaiwen sat down to have breakfast.

”Yes, after breakfast, we’ll go visit him.”

Gagliani said.

”You haven’t had breakfast, right? Let’s eat together.”

Huang Kaiwen invited.

After breakfast, they picked up Cesare Maldini, and the three went together to the hospital where Guardiola was resting.
