Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 1528: Chapter 1527: Where did this lunatic come from?

Qiao Bing over there also received the news.

She was at work in the hospital at the time, chatting with a colleague beside her.

”Qiao Bing, something big happened in our medical field today, and it’s strangely coincidental with your name,” her female colleague couldn’t help but laughingly said.

Upon hearing it was related to her, Qiao Bing subconsciously asked, ”Oh? What happened?”

Her colleague said, ”I just saw on the news that a major event shook the medical industry today.”

”There’s a gargantuan medical company that was registered, you know. Guess how much the registered capital is? One trillion!”

”And it’s not an inflated figure, it really is one trillion in registered capital! And the company’s legal representative has the exact same name as you.”

Upon hearing this, Qiao Bing was stunned for a moment. At first, she, like her female colleague, thought it was a mere coincidence of names.

However, she suddenly remembered that Lin Dong had mentioned he was going to register a pharmaceutical company today. She couldn’t help but consider a possibility.

She quickly asked, ”What is the name of this company?”

Her colleague replied, ”It’s called Dragon Country’s Eastern Ice Pharmaceutical!”

Dragon Country’s Eastern Ice Pharmaceutical?

Being as astute as Qiao Bing was, she immediately understood this pharmaceutical company’s implication, and at that moment, she became even more convinced that this company was very likely registered by Lin Dong.

To confirm if this was indeed the case, she asked again, ”Is there also an original shareholder? What’s his name?”

Her colleague, surprised, said, ”Qiao Bing, have you also seen this news? Indeed, there’s another original shareholder, and his name seems to be Lin Dong!”

Wow!!!

At this point, Qiao Bing was sure that this newly registered company, Dragon Country’s Eastern Ice Pharmaceutical, was definitely registered by Lin Dong.

Otherwise, it couldn’t be such a coincidence that both names matched exactly!

At the moment, she was extremely shocked. She had initially thought that the company Lin Dong mentioned would just be registering a few tens of millions or a couple of hundred million in capital, not expecting it to be on this scale.

Registered capital of one trillion!

She couldn’t even dare to think about it!

”Hahaha, Qiao Bing, it would be great if the shareholder and legal representative were really you. Then I’d follow you around. Being in such a big company would definitely earn more than working here in our hospital!”

”And I heard they haven’t started hiring yet. What do you say, should we go try applying? Being among the first batch to apply, maybe you’d become an elder of the company!”

She continued cheerily talking to Qiao Bing.

At this moment, she still thought the name was just a coincidence. She couldn’t imagine that her colleague in front of her, Qiao Bing, was actually the legal representative and shareholder herself.

After all, she was just a simple doctor in this hospital and had no idea that the lecturer last time was Qiao Bing’s boyfriend!

Listening to her, Qiao Bing gave a dry laugh and told her,

”Ah Jing, if you really are interested in longevity medicine, you can go and try for an interview. I guarantee you’d pass the interview and the benefits would be better than here!”

”Of course, it all depends on your choice. If you want to do research, go to that company. If you prefer to cure and save people, stay in the hospital.”

Upon hearing this, the other party asked back, ”Then what about you, Qiao Bing? Will you apply for a job there?”

Qiao Bing didn’t know how to answer.

She was already the general manager of that company, how would she need to apply for a job?

But she didn’t explain this to her colleague.

It felt unnecessary.

And even if she did tell her, she probably wouldn’t believe it.

Who would believe that their day-to-day colleague was the legal representative and a shareholder of a trillion-dollar company?

After Qiao Bing walked away, she ran down the hallway to call Lin Dong.

The phone quickly connected, and the first thing Qiao Bing asked was, ”Lin Dong, did you register a company today?”

Lin Dong nodded, ”Yes, Sister Bing, did you see the news too?”

”So it’s true! Is Dragon Country’s Eastern Ice Pharmaceutical really registered by you? That’s ten trillion! My goodness, I thought you were just messing around, but you actually registered a trillion-dollar company and even made me the general manager...”

”Do you know the huge pressure I’m feeling now?”

Lin Dong comforted her from the other end, ”Sister Bing, don’t feel pressured. I’ll arrange everything from talent recruitment to office spaces and lab construction.”

”You just need to be the general manager to oversee the work and provide ideas.”

Hearing this, Qiao Bing was still worried, ”But this is, after all, a trillion-dollar company...”

Her phone conversation with Lin Dong was overheard by a family member of a patient nearby.

”What’s going on? How come a lunatic in a white gown is running around the hospital, imagining herself to be the boss of a trillion-dollar company?”

”I am really fed up!” the patient’s family member muttered.

Qiao Bing also heard this remark, her face flushing red as she quickly told Lin Dong, ”Let’s talk more when I get back tonight; I’ve been mistaken for a madwoman over here.”

After hanging up the phone, she didn’t dare to look at the patient’s family member. Being mistaken for a madwoman was quite awkward.

She quickly fled.

Watching her leave, the patient’s family widened their eyes.

”That... that seemed like Doctor Qiao, my mom’s attending doctor. She’s not mad.”

What’s the situation here?

She’s clearly not a madwoman, how come she claimed to be the general manager of a trillion-dollar company during the phone call?

Was she bluffing?

But there was no point.

There was no one around; was she bluffing to herself?

She couldn’t understand and hurried to perform a Heavenly Eye check, to see if Doctor Qiao really owned a company.

She remembered Doctor Qiao’s real name was Qiao Bing.

At this moment, she entered the name Qiao Bing, and then, a newly registered company came up.

The company was named ’Dragon Country’s Eastern Ice Pharmaceutical’.

After seeing the company’s information, she kept gasping in astonishment,

”Sss! A trillion in registered capital!”

”Sss! A trillion in cash flow on their account!”

”Sss! Both the legal representative and shareholder have the name Qiao Bing!”

”Is this a coincidence, or is Doctor Qiao, really the general manager of a trillion-dollar company?”

”Oh my God, oh my God, mom, do you know what enormous secret I’ve uncovered?”

”Your attending doctor is actually a general manager of a company worth billions. A billion-dollar company boss is treating you!!”

She was paralyzed with shock, completely astounded.
