Chapter 394: Chapter 394: Curing Elder Zhou

At the moment, everyone’s gaze was on Lin Dong, their eyes filled with shock.

Even Zhou Tianzheng, who had been calling Lin Dong a naive kid all along, now had his mouth agape, wide enough to fit a duck egg.

Now he couldn’t utter a single word.

Li Yanran looked at Lin Dong with astonishment in her eyes.

How could this Lin Dong always bring such big surprises every time?

”Before, my cousin also stepped on that stair, but there was no reaction. Instead, this Lin Dong caused a reaction after stepping over it. According to the notion of destiny, then Lin Dong is truly the chosen one.”

She was internally shocked.

Lin Tiance’s face looked ugly, although he didn’t believe in such things. However, the fact that the stair reacted to Lin Dong’s step and not his own undoubtedly upset him greatly.

”Young friend, quickly, quickly, help me cure my disease.”

At this moment, Elder Zhou was becoming somewhat impatient.

This was someone who could cause the jade hidden in the ’Road to Heaven’ of the Zhou Shi Clan to emit light.

Perhaps he could indeed cure his chronic ailment.

At this moment, the stair under Lin Dong’s foot had returned to normal, and he was also somewhat surprised by the scene that had just unfolded.

He hadn’t expected the legend of the Zhou Shi Clan from years past to be true.

And moreover, that he himself could actually reproduce the scene from that time.

However, he didn’t think too much about it, he always believed that man could triumph over fate, and that the so-called destiny could be changed.

Only one’s own strength was the true path to supremacy.

Now, he walked towards Old Master Zhou and began to treat him upon arrival.

He took out his Acupuncture Bag from his bosom.

Then, he took out two Silver Needles.

The most troublesome part of Old Master Zhou’s body was the long-accumulated toxins.

Now Lin Dong still needed to use the ”Nine Needles of Ice and Fire” to completely clear out the toxins that had been retained in his body for too long.

Afterward, he would nourish and strengthen his foundation to restore his body’s health.

As Lin Dong was about to perform Acupuncture, Dr. Jiang Song kept saying:

”Using Chinese Medicine to cure diseases, that can be understood. But using Silver Needles to cure diseases, that completely contradicts science.”

”Where’s the evidence? Where’s the theoretical research?”

He simply did not believe that Acupuncture had the miraculous effects mentioned in ancient legends.

He even thought that those famous doctors like Hua Tuo, Bian Que, and Zhang Zhongjing, were only successful in treating diseases because of Chinese medicine. As for those stories that circulated about curing diseases with Acupuncture, those were just fabricated by the ancients.

Before administering the Acupuncture, Lin Dong heard his words and glanced over.

”Just because you don’t understand, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.”

”Next, you better keep your eyes wide open and see what Acupuncture really cures diseases with!”

After he finished speaking, he no longer paid attention to the famous doctor from the capital city.

Instead, he began to gather his Qi.

”Shua!”

After gathering Qi, the two Silver Needles in his hand instantly turned, one red and one blue.

Both needles exuded extremely cold and hot temperatures.

Seeing this, Dr. Jiang Song was startled and blurted out:

”This... what kind of magic is this?”

”Hmph, this is the essence of Dragon Country Chinese Medicine, how could it be the so-called ’magic’ you mention?”

Lin Dong snorted coldly and then began the Acupuncture.

Two Silver Needles, one blue and one red, pierced into the Acupoints within Old Master Zhou’s body.

Subsequently, two continuous streams of Qi flowed into Old Master Zhou’s body.

Old Master Zhou’s entire body began to change.

One half of his body turned rosy, while the other half began to sweat profusely.

This was the detoxification process.

Jiang Song watched in amazement, unable to understand why such changes were occurring.

Lin Dong continued the Acupuncture.

After a full half hour of Acupuncture, Old Master Zhou sweated profusely, and his sweat carried a thick black toxin.

These were the accumulated toxins being expelled from his body!

Old Master Zhou now felt much lighter and exclaimed with joy, ”Young friend, your Acupuncture is effective.”

Lin Dong whispered, ”Elder Zhou, don’t talk for now, I’ll soon help you recover your legs!”

Elder Zhou nodded repeatedly.

At that moment, Lin Dong began Acupuncture on both legs of Elder Zhou.

The ”Nine Needles of Ice and Fire” pierced into the Acupoints on Elder Zhou’s legs.

They activated the nerves and blood vessels in his legs that had been damaged by toxins.

Two distinct streams of Qi, one warm and one cool, nourished the nerves and blood vessels in his legs.

The two streams of Qi combined Yin and Yang, achieving a balanced state.

It was like dead wood meeting spring!

After another half hour of Acupuncture, Lin Dong said, ”Alright!”

He removed the Silver Needles and then said to Master Zhou, ”Elder Zhou, you can stand up now.”

Master Zhou looked astonished, somewhat disbelieving, ”Is... is this true?”

”You can try it!” said Lin Dong.

Master Zhou, excited, attempted to move his right leg.

And found that it actually responded!

In that instant, even a man of his stature turned red with excitement.

He then stood up directly from his wheelchair!

Of course, since he hadn’t stood up for a long time, suddenly standing up made him unstable, and he fell to the ground.

Zhou Family members became nervous as Master Zhou fell to the ground and rushed to help him.

”Elder, are you okay?” Zhou Tianzheng shouted, turning to Lin Dong, ”If anything happens to my dad, I won’t let you off the hook!”

”Quiet!” But no sooner had he spoken, Old Master Zhou scolded him loudly, ”How dare you speak to my benefactor that way?”

Then, propping himself up with his hands, he astonishingly stood up from the ground right in front of everyone’s stunned gazes.

This time, he stood firm and stable!

”This... this is unscientific!!!”

Seeing this scene, the doctor from the capital city, Jiang Song, exclaimed in shock.
