Urban Divine Doctor Descends the Mountain

Chapter 390: Chapter 390: Someone’s Out to Get You

”Mr. Lin Dong, what should I do now? Should I just throw away this piece of jade?”

Zhou Tianming hurriedly asked.

Lin Dong shook his head and said with a light chuckle:

”Do you think just by throwing away the jade you will be fine? The Evil Yin Energy has already attached itself to you. If we don’t remove the Evil Yin Energy from your body, you will definitely continue to encounter Blood Disasters!”

”Then, Mr. Lin Dong, please take action quickly to help me remove it.”

Zhou Tianming pleaded urgently.

”Mr. Zhou, as I said before, it’s not that I can’t help you. However, I do have one condition!” Lin Dong said.

”What condition? Mr. Lin Dong, please feel free to state it. As long as I can comply, I will agree to your request.”

Lin Dong then stated his condition:

”I want those three Strains of Heavenly Earth Treasures of the Zhou family!”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Tianming was taken aback, a distressed expression appearing on his face.

He said bitterly:

”Mr. Lin Dong, those three Strains of Heavenly Earth Treasures you mentioned are treasures dearly valued by my old man. It is not up to me to give them to you.”

”I know that,” Lin Dong nodded. ”I’ve heard that Master Zhou is suffering from a stubborn illness. You could introduce me to him to help cure his disease...”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Tianming’s eyes lit up.

He slapped his thigh and said:

”No problem at all!”

For him, this was absolutely no issue.

In fact, it was a win-win situation.

Think about it, if Lin Dong were to cure his old man, it would be a cause for celebration. At that time, when Lin Dong asks for the three Heavenly Material and Earthly Treasures from the old man, naturally, he would not easily refuse.

And for himself being cured by Lin Dong, and getting rid of the Evil Yin Energy, was simply too good to be true.

He agreed immediately.

”Mr. Lin Dong, you set the conditions, and I have no problem with it. As long as you cure the illness in my body, I will surely take you to treat my old man.”

”Besides, based on my old man’s character, if you really do cure him, he will definitely agree if you ask him for those three Strains of Heavenly Earth Treasures.

”He is a man who always repays his debts!”

Hearing this, Lin Dong nodded without any hesitation.

He then said to him:

”Okay, I will now remove the Evil Yin Energy from your body!”

A glint flashed in Lin Dong’s eyes, and he immediately activated ’Insight’ to probe for the Evil Yin Energy.

He could see a faint Dark Qi lingering around Zhou Tianming’s body.

Especially over his head and both shoulders, these three places had particularly dense Dark Qi.

At that moment, Lin Dong took out the Nine Silver Needles and inserted them into the nine acupoints where his Yang Energy was weakest.

These were known as the ’Nine Yang Needle’ from the Taiyi Yin-Yang Divine Needle technique.

This needle technique is special for treating illnesses where Yang Energy is depleted and enshrouded by Evil Yin Energy.

It has a unique effect in restoring Yang Energy and removing Evil Yin Energy.

”Ssshh ssshh ssshh~~”

After the nine needles were inserted into Zhou Tianming’s body, he could clearly feel that the suppressing feeling on his body was slowly disappearing.

About half an hour later, the Evil Yin Energy in his body had been completely removed.

Lin Dong also removed the Silver Needles!

Zhou Tianming could clearly feel that his physical state was completely different from before.

If before he was listless, everything he saw was a blur, and he felt like he was being pressed down by a mountain, now it was totally opposite.

Now, he felt full of energy, his eyes glowed, his body felt light, and he felt more refreshed and lively than after just having exercised.

”Mr. Lin Dong, your Traditional Chinese Medicine skills are truly miraculous. You are indeed a Divine Doctor!”

”Here, I apologize once more for the disrespect I showed you yesterday.”

”At the same time, I also deeply regret my previous views on Chinese medicine.”

”Perhaps influenced by overseas thinking, I always felt that Chinese medicine was an unscientific medical art and couldn’t compare with Western medicine. I even thought that it was akin to witchcraft. But now, I see how wrong I was!”

”The things our ancestors have passed down for thousands of years truly have their own rationale!”

At this moment, he completely reversed his previous slighting of Chinese medicine, and he praised it greatly.

As for Lin Dong’s medical skills, he revered them as divine.

”The Evil Yin Energy has been completely removed from your body. You can throw away that Jade Pendant, and you won’t have any more Blood Disasters,” Lin Dong said.

”Thank you so much.”

Zhou Tianming once again expressed his gratitude towards Lin Dong.

Lin Dong waved his hand, thinking that the Jade Pendant was given to Zhou Tianming by Lin Tiance.

He speculated that Lin Tiance might also have been involved in the affairs of the Zhou Shi Clan.

Perhaps he had come from the Southern Capital to Jianghai specifically for the three rare treasures in the hands of the Zhou family’s old man.

With this in mind, Lin Dong felt he could not delay any longer, and this matter should be addressed as soon as possible.

He said to Zhou Tianming:

”Tomorrow, let’s go to the Zhou Shi Clan tomorrow and see your old man, how about that?”

”No problem at all,” Zhou Tianming agreed immediately.

Apart from being grateful for Lin Dong curing his sickness, he also hoped to take Lin Dong back to the Zhou Shi Clan as soon as possible to treat their old man’s illness.

Moreover, he had another personal motive for wanting to befriend Lin Dong.

He was a savvy businessman, and with Lin Dong’s medical skills, this was not a person he would pass up on befriending.

”If Mr. Lin Dong can help me cure the old man, I will be able to surpass my eldest and second brothers in position in the old man’s heart.”

”This will also be a great help for me in the future in competing for the position of Clan Chief of the Zhou family!”

He thought to himself, and the more he looked at Lin Dong, the broader his smile became.
