Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 3073: Chapter 3082: Ms. Lewis, President Sinclair Wants to See You

”OK.” Olivia Lewis agreed readily.

Adam Sinclair, wearing wet clothes, hurried upstairs following the waiter.

The people who were earlier surrounding him found excuses to disperse after Adam left, while some stayed around Olivia Lewis, attempting small talk occasionally. However, compared to when Adam was present, their attitude was much more perfunctory.

Olivia Lewis, having been in the entertainment industry for some time, knew how to handle such situations, doing what she needed from start to finish. She neither got too close nor was overly distant. No matter how they tried to subtly inquire about Adam Sinclair, she pretended not to understand, skillfully changing the subject. After a while, realizing they couldn’t get any information from her, they each walked away...

Olivia enjoyed the leisure, preparing to slip into a corner to eat and wait for him to return. Suddenly, the waiter who had just taken Adam to change clothes approached her.

”Ms. Lewis, President Sinclair asked me to tell you to go upstairs for a moment.”

Olivia instinctively furrowed her brow, wondering, ”Why is he asking me to go up? Isn’t he changing clothes?”

The waiter looked troubled, ”Well... I don’t know either. President Sinclair only asked me to find Ms. Lewis; he didn’t tell me anything else.”

Olivia still felt it was strange.

Why is Adam Sinclair inexplicably asking her to go upstairs?

The waiter then said, ”Could it be that President Sinclair has something he wants to discuss with you? Ms. Lewis, why not go up for a bit? Besides, the banquet hasn’t started yet. President Sinclair’s changing room is just on the 2nd floor, it won’t take you long.”

This waiter was the same one who had taken Adam upstairs to change clothes earlier; had it been someone else, she might have been suspicious.

Since this waiter had accompanied Adam, although she was puzzled about why Adam wanted her upstairs, she pressed her red lips together slightly, ”Alright, I’ll go up and have a look.”

”Okay, I’ll take you up. I’m afraid you won’t find the room.” The waiter offered proactively.

Olivia didn’t think much of it and followed him.

She didn’t notice the ominous gaze from a corner not far behind her, watching her back until she disappeared from sight...

”Looks like the fish has taken the bait.” A gentle voice chimed in at this moment.

Renee Anderson turned her head and glanced at the woman dressed in apricot-red, highlighting her good complexion today, smirked, clinked her glass against hers, and took a sip of cocktail, saying, ”Yes, the fish has taken the bait. We can reel in the net soon.”

Whether it was the waiter strategically spilling his cocktail on Adam Sinclair, Adam going to change clothes, or the waiter fetching Olivia Lewis—all were part of their pre-planned scheme.

The plan was simple: separate Olivia Lewis from Adam Sinclair, so she could have the opportunity to strike.

Once Olivia Lewis went up to the second floor, she would find that the room the waiter took her to didn’t have the person she was looking for, and that the room contained a large amount of aphrodisiac; once she passed out, the waiter would fetch another man—President Stephen, who had long coveted Olivia Lewis’s beauty. Surely, the 62-year-old entertainment industry tycoon would love her special gift.

She just needed to wait for the dust to settle and join the crowd to enjoy the spectacle.

Then, she could thoroughly admire the panic-stricken expression on Olivia Lewis’s pretty face, as if she wanted to die instantly.
