Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 3062: Chapter 3071: Skilled at Taking Advantage

With everything she needed to say all at once, she didn’t expect the man sitting on the sofa would restrain his sharpness, reach out, and firmly grasp her hand. His deep and enchanting Peach Blossom Eyes stared at her as he spoke in a hoarse voice, ”I want to go to your place.”

Olivia Lewis frowned.

Adam Sinclair knew how to maximize his advantage. Holding onto her hand, he continued, ”My left hand is injured, and if I return to my place, I’ll be alone. Eating and drinking water are inconvenient.”

”You can have the servant come,” Olivia staunchly replied.

If Adam Sinclair were easy to dismiss, he wouldn’t be himself. He nonchalantly said, ”I don’t like servants; they’re too noisy.”

Olivia’s mouth twitched twice as she tried to pull her hand away, retorting irritably, ”Please, do you think you’re President Lawrence from Enna’s family? President Lawrence has autism. Do you have the nerve to act autistic with your flamboyant peacock personality? Cut it out, go back to your home!”

”Baron is obsessive, not autistic...” Adam Sinclair defensively retorted but still held onto her hand, saying, ”My home is where you are; home is wherever you are.”

Here it comes again...

Olivia was prepared this time. Her heartbeat wasn’t stirred. Calmly, she started to pry his hand off hers. ”Then what’s that suite at South Garden called, a doghouse?”

She actually cursed him as a dog... Given Adam Sinclair’s current status and position, people around him either handle him cautiously or flatter him, and at least no one dares to speak to him that way. Ironically, it was Olivia who jabbed him, leaving him with no choice but to endure.

”That’s just real estate,” he said. No matter how big the house or how many servants are inside, it’s not a home without her.

Adam didn’t want to argue with her about this issue any further, so he used his ace, ”Olivia, I haven’t slept for two days. Please let me rest a bit, okay?”

He wasn’t lying. He truly hadn’t slept well for nearly three days.

Because Olivia intentionally avoided him these past few days, causing him distress without any solution, he found himself unable to sleep, even resorting to medication.

To avoid pressuring her, he didn’t go to her small apartment, hoping to give her time to calm down. If not for finding her colder towards him as she calmed, he wouldn’t have lost patience and come to her to confront her in this upsetting manner.

He really couldn’t handle nights without her anymore...

Seeing his sincere gaze, and looking at the dark circles under his eyes, Olivia believed his words about not sleeping well. Her heart softened, and in the end, she couldn’t bring herself to refuse. She relented while prying his hand open and turning away, conceding, ”It doesn’t matter if you come to my place, but there’s no space for you in the bed; you can only sleep on the sofa.”

”I’ll sleep on the sofa.” Adam agreed swiftly.

Since meeting her, the sofa seemed to have become his second bed. He didn’t even know when he reached the point where he had to compete for the right to sleep on it. If others knew, they’d die laughing.

Thinking about it, Adam first chuckled silently and shook his head. However, his bright eyes were filled with affection, completely devoid of annoyance.

Seeing him laugh, Olivia looked puzzled, but sticking to her aloof principle, she decided to act like she didn’t see it. Handsomely, she said, ”I’ll go remove my makeup first. Wait here for me, and we’ll leave when I’m done.”
