Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2960: Chapter 2969: Austin Harper Is Already Shaken

”Without a brain, she’s just using you to control the entire Harper Family. She didn’t have to insist on pinning the pregnancy on me! Maybe she thinks the same way, so she feels no guilt using you!” Adam Sinclair’s every word hit the weakest part of Austin Harper, and he continued, ”I can tell you clearly, I never had any interaction with her that day! That day, she had your bar’s bartender drug my drink. Didn’t that bartender run away afterward?”

Austin Harper’s eyes trembled as he gazed at him, his eyes already starting to waver, but he still tightly shut his lips, unwilling to concede.

Adam Sinclair grabbed his collar and continued staring into his eyes, ”You could easily investigate these things, yet you refuse to. That shows you actually know Renee drugged me that day. You just don’t want to admit that the woman you like is that type of person!”

Austin Harper, his voice hoarse, suppressing something, retorted with a trembling voice, ”Even if Sister Renee drugged you, so what, can that prove you didn’t have any relations with her? Can that absolve you of responsibility for the child in Sister Renee’s womb?”

Adam Sinclair didn’t expect that even now he would defend Renee, narrowing his peach blossom eyes, his Adam’s apple moving as he spoke, ”She drugged me, which doesn’t prove I didn’t touch her, but we’re all men here; whether it happened or not, even if not fully conscious, it’s impossible to be entirely unaware. I was with her in the hotel for less than an hour before my friend found us. At that time, I didn’t have any marks from such acts on my body. Afterwards, I went to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor’s results showed no traces of activity on my body.”

Austin Harper’s mouth moved as if he wanted to refute him, but Adam Sinclair saw through him first, ”Of course, you could say the examinations can’t fully prove I didn’t have relations with her. But let me ask you, can seminal fluid prove it?”

”Of course it can. But you can’t possibly take Sister Renee for a test now; what would it show?” Austin Harper persistently wanted to believe Renee, constantly finding excuses for her.

Adam Sinclair knew he would say that!

Narrowing his peach blossom eyes, he spoke deeply and calmly, ”On the day of the incident, I had the doctor collect the leftover seminal fluid on me and send it abroad for testing. There’s a kind of technology abroad that can analyze seminal fluid components to determine if intercourse took place. This technology is used for infertility screening by assessing the fusion rate of sperm and egg to identify infertility likelihood. This exactly shows whether the fluid on me was deliberately smeared on by someone or left from real intercourse! The results will come out next week.”

Austin Harper’s expression was filled with suspicion, still defiantly saying, ”Anyway, the results will come out next week. Since you’re so confident, why don’t you wait till then? Why did you kidnap me here? Do you take me for a fool? I’m not going to harm Sister Renee over a few things you’ve said!”

That was exactly what Adam Sinclair wanted to hear, this statement basically admitted that he and Renee had a relationship; otherwise, he would have said he wouldn’t accuse her, not use the word ”harm”!

”I don’t want to wait until next week because my patience has run out.”

Austin Harper just wanted to say what does it matter to him.

Adam Sinclair looked into his eyes, calmly, ”Renee will not let the child in her womb be born safely. She knows clearly that I won’t acknowledge it, and once she gives birth, I will immediately conduct a paternity test.”
