Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1674: Chapter 1664: The Scheming Adam Sinclair

He was referring to the public relations department, not the one at Olivia Lewis’s company, but his own private public relations department.

As the heir to a super rich family, he certainly has a private PR team dedicated to managing his image.

However, Adam Sinclair rarely used it. Since they got together, his private PR team has basically been servicing Olivia Lewis.

So dealing with Olivia Lewis’s matters was much more skillful than a typical agency.

Adam Sinclair rubbed his temples, the fatigue in his eyes was evident, and he said in a deep voice, “I don’t have high demands for you, I just ask you to be a bit more obedient.”

I don’t have high demands for you, I just ask you to be a bit more obedient.

Olivia Lewis remained silent for a moment, the anger in her chest gradually extinguished, replaced by a stifling feeling.

Adam Sinclair knew her too well, understood her character even better. He subtly pressed his stomach, seemingly unintentionally but enough for Olivia Lewis to notice, and his brows furrowed slightly. His handsome and noble face spoke tiredly, “Do you want to have lunch together?”

“I already ate.” Olivia Lewis saw his small actions, knowing his stomach wasn’t well, her heart clenched. But she still gritted her teeth, clenched her fists, restrained her impulse, and responded harshly.

Adam Sinclair lifted his eyelids without a trace of depression, naturally saying, “Alright, then I’ll go back to the company first, I still have work to finish.”

“You should go make your movie first.”

He meant that if Olivia Lewis wouldn’t eat with him, he didn’t want to eat either and might as well go back to work.

Olivia Lewis was well aware that she was already an ex-girlfriend now.

As a qualified ex-girlfriend, if she wanted to cut off cleanly from Adam Sinclair, the best thing would be not to interfere with such matters.

But… seeing the man’s slightly pale lips and the fatigue in his eyes, her heart tightened involuntarily, and she blurted out, “I’ve taken leave from the Director.”

A hint of satisfaction flashed in Adam Sinclair’s eyes, but outwardly, he just paused, tilting his ear to listen to her words.

Olivia Lewis regretted it the moment she spoke. But she wasn’t a pretentious woman; since she started, what’s said is said. She took a deep breath, then another, and looking into Adam Sinclair’s eyes, said, “I’ve taken leave from the Director until five in the afternoon. It’s only two thirty now. There are two and a half hours left. If Young Master Sinclair has time, I’d like to see the golden retriever.”

The golden retriever was the dog she had given Adam Sinclair to take care of.

An astonishingly bright light burst from Adam Sinclair’s eyes, meeting her gaze directly, and his thin lips lightly said, “I have time.”

…

Once they were in the car.

Olivia Lewis realized what she had done.

She had proactively asked Adam Sinclair to go to his house to see the dog, and on top of that, she had walked out of the lounge with him in front of everyone on set and got into his car.

Worse yet, there were still ambiguous marks left on her lips.

Anyone with eyes could tell what had happened inside.

Her temples throbbed painfully, and she wished she could slap herself to death.

But now that she was already in the car, and Adam Sinclair was sitting next to her, with the car smoothly heading toward his villa, it would be too much to say she wanted to back out now.

Olivia Lewis felt restless all the way, just like she was sitting on pins and needles, moving from time to time.

Adam Sinclair, on the other hand, was very calm, sitting next to her, leisurely flipping through the financial statements in his hands. It was as if he didn’t notice the anxiety and discomfort of the person beside him, enjoying himself.
