Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1660: Chapter 1650: A Direct Hit

Olivia Lewis listened to music all the way, sitting on the subway. Although there were people all around, no one recognized her.

This feeling was particularly magical; she hadn’t experienced it for a long time.

She felt good, curled her lips into a smile, and closed her eyes to enjoy the rare free time.

Soon, the subway arrived at the station.

August Oliver stood up first, turned sideways to remind her, “We’re here, let’s get off.”

“Already? So fast?” Enna Clark took off her headphones, handed them back to him, and stood up as well.

“Yep, let’s go.”

He naturally grasped Olivia’s wrist.

A slight warmth came from her left wrist, and Olivia frowned slightly, just about to pull away.

It was as if August had eyes on the back of his head and could see what she was thinking, he suddenly turned back and said, “There are too many people getting on and off the subway, it’s easy to get pushed back in.”

“…”

Olivia hesitated for a moment, and he had already confidently pulled her, pushing through the crowd off the train.

As soon as they got off, he naturally let go of her hand, as if his earlier action was simply to help her get off the subway.

It made Olivia unsure what to say to him.

August, with his hands in his pockets, his cool and handsome face partially concealed by his scruffy beard disguise, couldn’t hide his attractiveness.

He carried a faint scent of tobacco and his unruly demeanor was indeed very charming.

“We’re in the city center now, let’s go watch a movie. I’ve already booked the tickets online.”

He paused and then added.

“Or if there’s someplace you’d rather go, I can accompany you.”

The city center?

Olivia already regretted impulsively agreeing to come out with him. But since she had agreed, she had to see it through until 5 PM.

But the city center was out of the question.

If she got photographed with August, her manager would kill her.

She thought for a moment and said, “I don’t have any particular place in mind, since you’ve already bought the tickets, let’s watch the movie.” The movie would pass the time quickly without making things too awkward.

August had planned to take her to a movie anyway, so of course, he was thrilled that she agreed.

A rosy smile curled on his lips. If his fans saw this, they would surely go crazy.

Because all the fans knew how exceptionally cool and aloof August was, he smiled less frequently than winning a 750 thousand lottery.

Even when occasionally shooting a magazine cover, his expression was indifferent, rarely smiling.

The cinema was in a mall not far from the subway exit. While August didn’t talk much on the way, he managed to discuss topics that captivated Olivia’s interest.

Gradually, they had a surprisingly decent conversation.

Once out of the elevator, they walked one behind the other into the cinema.

Olivia was so absorbed in the conversation that she didn’t notice someone behind her observing her intently.

Soon, August exchanged the tickets, bought a popcorn and a coke. “Let’s go.”

“Okay.” She casually put down the movie synopsis she’d been holding and followed him in.

Their backs looked harmoniously matched.

Not far behind them, a meticulously and flamboyantly dressed person quickly took out a phone and snapped a photo in their direction.

After taking the picture, she saved it, edited a message, and sent it out.

After sending the message, she thought for a moment, then started typing again, her lips curling up in a malicious smile.
