Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1631: Chapter 1631: Extraordinarily Stubborn on This Matter

“Ms. Clark, Lord.” Scott Harris, dressed in a white suit, approached respectfully, leading the two to a beachside table surrounded by fairy lights and roses.

On such a beautiful beachside, there was only one table set up just for them.

Scott helped pull out a chair for her, smiling, “Ms. Clark, please have a seat.”

“Thank you.” Enna Clark sat down.

Scott immediately helped push in her chair.

Then he proceeded to help Baron Lawrence pull out his chair in the same manner.

“My Lord, everything is ready.”

“Okay.”

Scott went off to make other arrangements.

Soon, various seafood dishes were brought to the table, looking fresh and appetizing, making one’s mouth water at the sight.

Besides the seafood, what surprised Enna Clark the most was that this time, the seafood dishes weren’t in Western style.

Most of them were charcoal-grilled.

Even the top-quality Rock Lobster was cooked in this down-to-earth way.

Enna Clark felt a twinge of heartache just looking at it.

Soon, the table was filled with dishes.

The server opened the red wine for her, poured her a glass, and stood by, bending slightly to ask softly, “Hello, Ms. Clark. Please allow me to serve you tonight. If there’s any dish you want, just let me know, and I will take care of it for you.”

With that, she stood aside with a polite smile and started handling the crab for Enna Clark with the dining utensils.

She placed the shelled crab meat on Enna’s plate.

Without Enna needing to say a word, the server instinctively observed and handed it over promptly as needed.

This kind of extremely luxurious dining experience was a first for Enna Clark. She particularly felt uneasy being served while eating, but since Baron Lawrence was the same, she couldn’t say much.

It was just a bit hard to swallow the food.

Even the delicious food tasted less appealing.

Baron Lawrence had been paying attention to her eating. Seeing that she barely ate, he frowned slightly. He instructed the server beside Enna, “Get her a bowl of Seafood Porridge.”

“Yes, My Lord.”

The female server hurried away.

Enna was about to say it wasn’t necessary, but when she looked up, she met the man’s domineering gaze, “Enna Clark, eat more, you hear? If you don’t eat yourself, I’ll have someone pry your mouth open and force-feed you! Do you want to eat on your own, or be force-fed?”

Although he liked her in any form, being too thin wasn’t good for her!

Enna Clark had never met someone so overbearing. This wasn’t dining; this was a bandit acting like a hooligan. She spoke in frustration, “…I’ll eat by myself.”

“Eat more, it’s for your own good.” Her willingness to eat softened Baron Lawrence’s expression. He picked a scallop for her, “Don’t you like this? What’s wrong, not tasty enough?”

“Not really.”

Dishes made by a five-star chef are definitely tasty.

She just found it a bit unusual to eat grilled seafood in a fancy style reminiscent of a street food stall.

The extreme contrast between the two made her unsure of how to describe it.

“Then eat more!” Baron Lawrence added a few more items to her plate, and soon her plate was piled up like a small mountain. Only then did he reluctantly stop and say, “Finish these off and then have a bowl of Seafood Porridge, and you’ll be done.”

“…” Was he feeding her like a pig?

Enna Clark pondered on how much she could actually eat.

But she underestimated Baron Lawrence’s persistence on the matter. In the end, he domineeringly supervised her until she couldn’t eat another bite before reluctantly letting her off.
