Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1617: Chapter 1617: Olivia, Do Me a Favor

That woman was trembling with anger, her eyes filled with venom as if she wanted to bite Olivia to death.

She couldn’t hold it in any longer.

She shot Olivia a fierce glare, pushed her aside, stormed over to the sofa, grabbed her new LV bag which she had brought to flaunt, and stopped in front of Olivia.

“Just you wait!”

“Are you still going to consult me later?” Olivia pretended not to understand, asking in surprise.

That woman was so angry she was gnashing her teeth, wanting to scratch Olivia with her nails. But for some reason, she held back and said through gritted teeth, “Haha, just wait!”

After saying that, she stormed out furiously.

The atmosphere in the room was awkward for a few seconds, and everyone looked at each other in astonishment. The director was the first to step forward, patting Olivia on the shoulder and saying, “I know you’re feeling bad, but try not to be so impulsive next time. She’s the new favorite now, and if she causes you trouble behind your back, it’ll be bad for you.”

“If it’s trouble, it’s trouble. At most, they’ll just replace me. Staying in this film is awkward anyway. If she can get me replaced, all the better.” Olivia paused, then quickly explained, “Director Trent, I don’t mean I don’t want to be in your film. I just mean…”

The director quickly held her shoulder, interrupting her with a laugh, “Alright, alright, I know you well. It’s not our first time working together. I know what kind of person you are.”

“Hey, your situation is indeed awkward right now, especially with…” He hesitated and then, fearing to upset Olivia, forced himself to comfort her, “It doesn’t really matter. She doesn’t know how long she can stay on top. Maybe she’s just all talk and won’t cause you any real trouble.”

Young Master Sinclair has been changing his female companions quite frequently lately. Almost every two days, the media catches him dating a different girl.

Most of them are internet celebrities, and some are minor stars, all of similar appearance, and none lasting more than two days.

After four or five changes, the paparazzi were running out of things to write.

Because he changes them so often, the headlines are always the same–

Young Master Sinclair has a new girlfriend again.

Young Master Sinclair’s new girlfriend has the typical internet celebrity look.

Young Master Sinclair’s new girlfriend with the internet celebrity look is again of the same type.

The paparazzi never get tired of writing, but the gossip-loving public has seen it so often they’re not surprised anymore.

But this one is quite capable; she actually managed to get into the crew.

The director realized he was making it worse and quickly changed the topic, “By the way, it’s good that you’re back. Come with me somewhere later.”

“Where to?”

“To the hotel.”

Olivia shot him a glance, responding crisply, “Not going!”

He immediately smiled and explained, “What are you thinking? Everyone’s going. It’s for the film’s theme song. We’ve invited the Vault of Heaven Band. They’ve arrived in Country W. The crew is planning a welcome party for them.”

“Vault of Heaven Band? The recently popular band? The one with the very distinctive lead singer?”

“That’s them.” Director Trent said helplessly, “You’ve heard about how unique the lead singer is, right? I’m just afraid I won’t be able to handle him alone. So Olivia, do me a favor. Come along and help keep the atmosphere warm if it cools down. If everything’s fine, you’re free to leave whenever you want.”

Olivia and this director were friends despite the age gap. If it were someone else asking this favor, she certainly wouldn’t agree. But since it was him, she hesitated a moment and said, “I should tell you, I have plans tonight and can’t stay long.”

“Don’t worry, I just want you there just in case. If there are no unexpected situations, you can leave whenever you want.”

“Alright then.”
