Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1621: Chapter 1621: I Told the Director I Want to Pursue You

He knows?

“Uh?”

August Oliver put away the pen in his hand, stuck his hands in his pockets, and with his natural height of over six feet, he gave off a commanding presence. His dark eyes kept fixed on Olivia Lewis, and his rose-like lips moved, “I asked the director for it.”

“…” What does that mean?

Did he specifically ask the director for her phone number?

Olivia had a strange thought but quickly dismissed it.

How could that be? You can tell by the debut time alone that she is definitely older than August, and by more than just a year.

It shouldn’t be possible.

“Because I told the director that I want to pursue you.”

What the heck!

Olivia was taken aback.

“What?”

August looked down at her, and calmly repeated, “I told the director that I want to pursue you.”

I told the director that I want to pursue you.

I want to pursue you.

This time Olivia heard it clearly, not just clearly, she heard it very clearly. So she was stunned, “Pursue me? You’re kidding, right?”

“I read the recent news, you and your boyfriend broke up. You’re single now, so pursuing you isn’t interfering with anyone.”

Emma, the key point is that the two of them don’t match at all!

Olivia didn’t know how to respond, but she still had to say, “…I’m older than you.”

“Only by three years, and nowadays it’s trendy for older women to date younger men.”

“I don’t like guys younger than me.”

August didn’t mind at all and said decisively, “I can’t change that, but I’ll make the band members call you sister-in-law.”

“…” Olivia had never seen such a… domineering way of pursuing someone.

And the pursuer was a guy who could be her younger brother.

While she was racking her brains to think of how to refuse him, the man with a tobacco scent leaned down and propped a hand next to her head, his lazily handsome face full of seriousness, “Olivia Lewis, I’m serious. You can reject me, but I won’t accept the rejection.”

“…”

You can reject me, but I won’t accept the rejection.

How is she supposed to respond to that?

At this moment.

August had already raised his head, his fair and handsome jawline smooth and striking, “I’ve said what I needed to say, I won’t bother you anymore. See you tomorrow. Remember to text me back tonight.”

What on earth?

She wasn’t planning on replying at all.

“I…”

“It’s settled then, I have to go deal with the Old Man now.” He took a step back, with his long legs and straight posture, he pulled something out and slipped it into Olivia’s hand before turning around and walking away without looking back.

“Wait a minute.”

When Olivia noticed something had been put into her hand and called out to him, he had already left her with only a carefree back view.

She helplessly lowered her head and opened her palm.

When she saw the wing-shaped pendant bracelet in her hand, she was stunned for a moment.

This bracelet was a limited-edition merchandise from when she was just starting out and acted in “Assassin’s Chronicles.”

The design was inspired by a line in the show: Sometimes I really wish I could turn into a bird, so I could fly into your heart.

At that time, only three of these bracelets were released, and so many years had passed, she never expected him to give her this.

Olivia was extremely surprised as she looked at the bracelet in her hand.

On the other side, August was blocked at the entrance of the hall. The previously cheeky cute boy teased, “Boss, did you give Sister Olivia the gift?”

August ignored him and walked inside.

He followed eagerly, grinning, “I knew it was her. From the way you acted today, I could tell the person you’ve had a crush on for years is Sister Olivia. Did you tell her that the bracelet was bought with the money you earned working at a construction site after skipping classes a few years ago? And that you joined the entertainment industry because you liked her?”

“Shut up.”

“Okay, okay, relax, I won’t tell anyone.”

The two walked further and further away.
