Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1622: Chapter 1622: The Domineering Confession on Instagram

Olivia Lewis was walking out of the hotel, her head aching badly as she held onto the hand chain.

She was adept at handling harassment, but when it came to these young boys’ confessions, she really had no idea what to do.

At that moment, her phone in the bag buzzed with a notification.

Olivia put away the hand chain and took out her phone.

It was from an unfamiliar number.

She opened the text message: “I’m August Oliver, here’s my number. Check Instagram.”

Her head, which had just stopped hurting so much, started aching again.

She opened Instagram and found August Oliver’s account.

His account didn’t have much content. It was as simple and unique as he was.

Despite the scant posts, he had no shortage of followers.

Olivia counted, realizing he had hundreds of thousands of followers.

This instantly made her feel sad about her own Instagram account, which she had been managing for two or three years and barely had 15 thousand followers.

Indeed, the difference between male and female stars’ follower counts was quite substantial.

15 thousand versus hundreds of thousands, it was like heaven and earth.

Should she tell Sunny to buy some fake followers?

It was a passing thought; Olivia didn’t actually plan to buy fake followers to inflate her numbers.

She looked left and right, up and down, and couldn’t figure out what August Oliver wanted her to see on his Instagram.

The most recent post was from a few months ago, featuring a new song cover.

“What the heck?” What exactly did he want her to see?

Just as Olivia was about to log out, August Oliver’s Instagram suddenly updated.

It was a black-and-white picture!

The photo showed a hand holding a hand chain. The charm on the hand chain was very unique, shaped like an angel wing.

The hand holding the hand chain was clearly August Oliver’s, with noticeable knuckles.

There was also a caption—”Sometimes I really want to become a bird, so I can fly into your heart.”

Was this… a public confession?

Olivia felt her heart skip a beat.

August Oliver’s passionate fans responded much faster than she did; the Instagram post had barely been up for a minute before comments poured in.

[Front row. Wow, I actually snagged the first comment.]

[Boss actually updated his Instagram. I’m so lucky.]

[I also want to become a bird and fly into Boss’s heart.]

[Isn’t this a line from that movie?]

[Am I the only one who noticed the hand chain is a women’s design? What’s going on? Is Boss just quoting a movie or confessing his love? It feels so ambiguous to me.]

[Get lost! Boss must have posted this because he watched the movie. If this is a confession, I’ll… go on a hunger strike in protest!]

[Hahaha, I’m going to be a rational fan—stay close to his work, but distant from his personal life. Even if he announces a girlfriend publicly, I’ll still wish him well. But I’ll send that woman a knife and hate her forever!]

…

In just a few minutes, August Oliver’s post had already been shared over ten thousand times, with tens of thousands of comments and likes.

Olivia was astounded, witnessing the popularity of Vault of Heaven Band for the first time.

She had only heard people talk about how famous August Oliver and the band were while chatting on set. She thought it was just ordinarily famous, not expecting this level of fame! Such popularity was definitely that of a top influencer star.

As she was still marveling at August Oliver’s fame, her phone began to buzz incessantly.

When she opened it, there were countless private messages and tags.

Most were telling her that August Oliver had watched her movie.

August Oliver posted on Instagram that he liked her role.

There were also some of August Oliver’s young fans sending private messages asking about her relationship with him.
