Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 617: Chapter 617: Chi Enen is My Bottom Line

Li Beijue knew the effect of that whip, his thin lips pursed, he decisively spat out a word, “Fine!”

“Young Master…” The Old Butler tried to stop him.

That whip was made of shark muscle; it might look easy, but three lashes from it would leave a normal person either dead or crippled.

Old Master Li bellowed, “Leave him be! If he says fine, let him have a try!”

The Old Butler was worried, but he didn’t dare to go against his wishes, so he could only watch helplessly as Old Master Li took the whip and walked over.

Li Beijue stood his ground, tall and handsome.

...

“Beijue, I’ll give you one more chance, it’s not too late to back out now.”

“I don’t repeat myself.”

Old Master Li’s anger deepened, and he lashed out with the whip, striking Li Beijue’s back.

With a snap!

Li Beijue let out a muffled groan, his body swayed, he clenched his fists. With one lash, the shirt on his back was actually torn open, leaving behind a shocking blood trace.

Old Master Li hardly paused, swinging back his hand and delivering the second lash.

A great tearing and crushing sensation engulfed his back, Li Beijue groaned again, kneeling on one knee on the ground, with a streak of crimson blood oozing from the corner of his mouth.

On his smooth back, two blood traces, wide as two fingers, intersected, blood seeping out from both sides of the wounds, skin torn and flesh burst open—just looking was horrifying.

It was so quiet in the villa that you could hear a pin drop.

Let alone others, even the bodyguards used to seeing bloodshed turned their eyes away.

The Old Butler, needless to say, could no longer care about status and stretched his hand to grab Old Master Li’s whip, kneeling and pleading, “Old Master Jue, no more, please! The young master won’t be able to take it.”

A trace of pity flashed in Old Master Li’s eyes, his hand holding the whip hesitated, waiting for Li Beijue to speak. If Li Beijue were to yield, he would stop.

The man with one knee on the ground already blurred his vision with sweat, his back felt an agonizing pain as if flesh and bone were being torn apart, waves of excruciating pain enough to make one faint! Yet, he bit down hard on his teeth, not even grunting, his defined side profile stubborn and proud, even kneeling, his unyielding spirit was evident!

“Young Master, don’t defy Old Master Jue anymore, I’ll take you to get medicine,” the Old Butler, seeing Old Master Li wavering, quickly persuaded Li Beijue.

Li Beijue’s veins on the back of his hand bulged, trying to rise, but the injuries on his stomach and back overlapped, making him stagger and failed to get up. He raised his head, his falcon-like eyes resolute as he spoke hoarsely, “There’s still one last whip.”

According to their agreement, just one more whip and he could leave.

“Young Master!”

Old Master Li, not expecting him to be so stubborn at this point, angrily raised his whip and fiercely brought it down on his already torn and bleeding back!

“Snap!”

Li Beijue’s body jerked violently, almost falling.

He slowly closed his eyes, and the image of Chi Enen’s smile flashed through his mind—

It was as if Chi Enen was his anesthetic, the pain dissipating instantly.

He had promised Chi Enen that he would come home to eat the Tomato Egg Noodles she made that evening.

He couldn’t pass out, even if he had to crawl, he should crawl back to Chi Enen’s feet!

A surge of crimson nausea rose in his stomach, Li Beijue’s elegant brows tightly furrowed as he violently vomited a mouthful of blood.

The scarlet blood stained the bright white marble floor, a startling red!

The Old Butler wanted to help him, but was pushed away by Li Beijue.

He bit back the pain that ordinary people couldn’t endure and staggered to his feet.

An innate military stubbornness in his bones prevented Li Beijue from showing even the slightest surrender.

He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, got up with the help of the sofa, and faced Old Master Li, “Three lashes are done, may I leave now?”

“…” Old Master Li remained silent.

Li Beijue, struggling to support his body, dragging his bloodstained self, headed towards the door.

The bodyguards didn’t know whether to let him go, still blocking the front door.

Old Master Li suddenly threw away the whip, as if squeezing the words through his teeth, “Let him roll out!”

The bodyguards cleared a path from the front door, which was also opened from the outside.

Li Beijue walked to the door without looking back, then suddenly stopped, “Don’t touch Chi Enen; she is my bottom line.”

In the empty hall, Li Beijue’s dark, cold, and merciless voice reverberated, leaving no room for negotiation.

“If anyone dares touch a hair on Chi Enen’s head, I’ll turn against them!”
