Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 578: Chapter 578: Li Beijue took the initiative to support her

That female star also realized what was happening, and despite the humiliation on her face, she quickly stripped off her skirt. Dressed only in a bikini, she didn’t pause for a second before running towards the hotel…

The spectators watched the steamy spectacle for free and dispersed, satisfied.

The agent was very tactful, returned the check and offered a stream of apologies to Chi Enen before hurrying away.

As she left, Lin Nai, who had been lying on the ground without getting up, seemed unable to bear the pain any longer and let out a whine of endurance.

Chi Enen then realized she had forgotten about Lin Nai. She broke free from Li Beijue’s grasp and helped Lin Nai sit up, “Are you okay?”

“I’m fine. It was just so sudden; I may have twisted my ankle a bit. Don’t worry about me, I just need to rest for a while.”

No matter what, it was Lin Nai who had taken that hit and gotten injured for her, so how could Chi Enen possibly not care about her, “Your forehead is bleeding, let me take you to the hospital.”

Li Beijue furrowed his eyebrows!

Was this woman deaf? Lin Nai had just said she needed to rest and would be fine, so why take her to the hospital! He would rather she stayed and had a cup of coffee with him!

However, even though he was reluctant, for the first time, he did not stop her. It was probably because the wound on Lin Nai’s forehead was indeed suffered while protecting Chi Enen.

It’s just that his expression was not very good.

Lin Nai was tactful and declined proactively, “It’s no trouble, I’ll rest for a bit, and once my ankle feels better, I’ll go to the hospital for a checkup myself. My forehead doesn’t feel that painful; it’s probably just a small cut. No big deal.”

Chi Enen could see that Lin Nai’s forehead was indeed just a minor cut, but she insisted, “Then let me take you back to your hotel room, apply some medication and treat the wound briefly to prevent scars.”

Lin Nai initially wanted to refuse, but she was indeed worried about scarring on her forehead. After some polite refusals, she stopped insisting.

Just as Chi Enen was about to lend a hand to help her stand up, Li Beijue, with a cold face, stepped in front of her and lifted Lin Nai, “I’ll do it.”

The overpowering smell of perfume assaulted his senses, his eyebrows furrowed so tightly they could have trapped a fly, his falcon-like eyes openly displaying disgust. Yet, he did not give in to his inclination to push Lin Nai away, instead enduring the irritation with a grim face as he walked forward, “Where is your room?”

“6532.”

Lin Nai had never imagined Li Beijue would take the initiative to help her and was flabbergasted with gratitude.

Chi Enen was also surprised to see Li Beijue lend a hand to Lin Nai. Even though his actions were rough, it was the first time she had seen Li Beijue take the initiative to help someone.

She couldn’t quite describe what she felt in her heart.

Although she believed Li Beijue wouldn’t take an interest in Lin Nai, she still felt a twinge of discomfort.

She suppressed the slight emotion in her heart and followed them.

…

Lin Nai stayed in VIP suite 6532, presumably booked by her ‘ex-boyfriend.’

The two rooms and one living room guest suite looked nice, and the sea could be seen from the floor-to-ceiling glass windows of the living room, but it was quite inferior to the Presidential Suite in terms of room size, decoration style, and view of the scenery.

Finally reaching the room, Li Beijue couldn’t wait to let go of the person he was carrying.

Lin Nai had not been comfortable with Li Beijue’s brusque and alienating assistance; he didn’t seem to be helping so much as lending her an arm to drag her along the way. It had exacerbated her already twisted ankle.

But having such an opportunity to be close to this man was hard to come by, so even if her ankle hurt more, she bit down hard to maintain a smile. She had endured until the hotel room, only to be rudely dropped off, almost unable to catch her breath—
